Introduction How to Log In How to Set Up Your Agent Profile Boston Logic Help and Support

Introduction In the first training module, we covered six key features of the Dashboard on the Boston Logic Platform of our new website. In this module, we’ll show you how to log in to the platform for the first time and set up your personal profile.

What you’ll learn: ● How to set up your personal profile ● Why it’s important to set up your profile

Here’s what you’ll need: ● About 5 minutes to log on ● About 20 minutes to set up your agent profile ● Your email address ● Links to your social media profiles ● A photo of yourself that is 240 x 320 pixels

Why is this important? Your agent profile will appear on the front end of our brokerage site. It’s how your clients will get in touch with you. Clients will go to the Our Agents page to find you and learn more about you. So you want to put your best foot forward!

How to Log In Ready? Let’s get you logged in. This part takes just a few minutes. Step 1 From your web browser, go to www.jrockcliff.com. In the upper right corner, click on: Login

Step 2 You’ll be prompted to log in using your email address and a password. For our brokerage, the standard password naming convention is: lastname1. So for agent Mary Smith, the password would be: smith1 If you want to reset your password, use the button on the login screen.

After you log in, the screen will open to the Dashboard. It looks like this:

Step 3 Create a NEW password to log in to your account. Do not keep the default password for security purposes. Make a note of your new password.

Need to reset your password? Here’s how: From the Dashboard, click on the icon in the upper right corner. (It may not look like what’s shown here.) Then select: My Profile. A new screen will open. Look for these two buttons. Select: Actions

When you select Actions, a drop-down menu will open. From the drop-down menu, select: Reset Password.

Fill out the fields. Then select: Update Password.

How to Set Up Your Agent Profile Step 1 Click on the icon at the top right and select: My Profile

Step 2: A new screen will open. Click on: Edit

Step 3: After you click on Edit, a new screen will open. It looks like this:

Fill in the boxes to add your primary information. If it’s already filled out, doublecheck to make sure your name, email, phone, and MLS ID number is correct.

Be sure to verify that your MLS ID is entered correctly.

Why is this important? Your MLS ID will enable your listings to automatically show on your profile page. And it will add your image and contact information to your own listings when they appear in search results. AND it will show this info for EVERY listing when your leads are viewing them. That’s three really good reasons!

Step 4 Save your work. See this green button? This button is your friend! Select it to save your work. Do this often. Go ahead and do it now. It will return you to the previous screen, but no worries. Just select the orange “Edit” and keep working on your profile. OK—so far, so good! Let’s keep going.

Step 5 Under the “Primary Information” area, you will see boxes that look like this:

See the plus sign next to “Contact Information”? Select that. The box will expand.

When the box expands, it looks like this:

Add all of your contact information: street address, office phone, and fax number. Don’t forget your zip code.

Step 6 Open and complete each box. ● In some cases, you just have to check off a box or select an option from a drop-down menu. ● In other cases, you’ll input the necessary information. ● Be sure to save your work as you go. See Step 3.

The SMS Notification box is especially important. Fill out SMS Notifications to get real-time text messages when leads take actions on our website. High-impact actions such as creating a new saved search, inquiring about a specific property or sending a listing to a friend will automatically send a text message to the agent who owns the lead. Enabling this feature will allow you to capitalize on lead activity and follow up directly in a much quicker fashion.

The Profile Settings and Social Media boxes are especially important. Profile Settings This is where you will upload your bio photo. Optimal size is 300 x 450 pixels. The file size should be approximately 50KB or less. This is also where you can add your bio. Look for this box. It gives you a text editor where you can add, edit, and format text.

Social Media This is where you will copy and paste all your social media links.

Step 7 Add your email signature. This will appear on all messages you send from the Boston Logic platform. Follow the email signature style we use at our brokerage.

Be sure to â—? include your contact information, including the address of your office location (street, city, state, and zip code) and your phone and fax numbers. â—? include a link to your profile on our website or to your own personal website.

Step 8 When your profile is complete, be sure to select Update Agent to save your work. â—? You can return to your profile anytime and select Edit to make changes or additions.
