The fourth (forthright) single from highly tipped garage rock trio, The Cosmics, truly is something else. Produced by Rory Attwell, who has also worked with The Vaccines and Palma Violets, 'Trust Is Blind' is an honest, delicate and heartfelt break up ballad that swells into a feisty ‘fuck you’ rock howl of madness. Influenced by Thee Oh Sees and Ty Segall, this is articulate ambition, descended from 1970s punk energy and 1960s psyche melody. Erin Grace (Lead Vocals / Bass Guitar), Conor Boyle (Lead Guitar) and Danny Boyle (Drums). are in the eye of a guitar-band whipped up storm brewing on the increasingly exterminated live circuit. 10th November; Antics Club Night Manchester Night And Day with L. Since their debut single, 'Johnny' in 2016 - which gained national radio plays on BBC Radio 1 (Huw Stephens), Radio X and BBC Radio 6 (Steve Lamacq) - the band's reputation has taken a fast track. Demanding attention in under two minutes, the one-take music video was filmed on the West Coast of Ireland, and has since clocked up over 27,000 views. In 2017, among a summer of festival appearances, they found themselves on the BBC Introducing Stage of Glastonbury, their first TV appearance on the BBC. This summer 2018, they have been recording, recently played alongside Goat Girl, Starcrawler and Spring King while making an impression at various major events including Isle of Wight, Truck, Y Not and Manchester Pysch Festivals. The Cosmics are a much needed, youthful kick up the arse and they're coming for you, 2019. Stay tuned for news/more dates. https://facebook.com/thecosmicsband/ https://twitter.com/thecosmicsband/
