Monte Creek Winery is a hidden gem in the Thompson Valley. This wedding location is modern, yet rustic and nestled right among the beautiful rolling plains that house the area’s rich history. The natural and earthy tones of this shoot align with rich red hues of the Kamloops desert and the lush green elements of the vineyards. Okanagan Events Girl and Levi + Victoria Creative collaborated to dream up this idyllic picnic-style elopement. To Have and To Hold Design fashioned a stationery set that highlighted a sense of minimalism, with a focus on the shoot’s primary colour - burnt sienna.

What’s better than a vineyard wedding, you ask? A vineyard wedding that spotlights a Perspective Events' tent, that’s what. This styled elopement’s creative design and vibrant colours make for the perfect wedding day inspiration for any season. The pampas grass surrounding the entire event really makes the bohemian vibe shine through the little details. Minim Designs’ florals embodied the feel of this styled celebration, through bouquets of burnt orange and blush coloured roses and pampas grass.

INTO THE MYSTIC

The bride and groom’s ensemble deserves an honorary mention because of its simple sophistication. Our Mrs. showcased a Zavana Couture gown from Candè Bridal Boutique, which features delicate beading and a sleek silhouette. Her Lack of Color hat gives a nod to the new and the old - the modern bride and the farming history of Kamloops. New Image Salon and Cassidy Watt Artistry Collective created a bridal look that was clean and refined, yet relaxed. Our groom matched his bride with a simple suit and suspenders from Black & Lee. His bow tie from Tie Bar seamlessly incorporated the main colours of their big day.

DOWN TO EARTH

Perspective Events made this the table of our dreams with vibrant colours and sleek lines in the table decor while Minim Designs really brought it to life with colourful and fresh flowers. Uptown Chefs Catering + Events brought a photo-worthy spread of charcuterie, along with our friends from Sprinkle + Whisk, who supplied the most decadent desserts. Together, this A-Team of vendors dreamt up a day that was charming and inviting - basically, one that any couple would dream of!
