caroline + daniel - Teton Pass

Caroline & Daniel

WYOMING Caroline and Daniel’s love story began their junior year of college at the University of Arkansas. They were set up by mutual friends to attend a sorority formal together. They didn’t want to go into the event having never met, so they decided to go on a first date beforehand. That date quickly turned into five more before the actual event and the rest was history! They dated for almost four years before Daniel planned the perfect proposal during a weekend getaway in Austin, Texas. During a winery tour and tasting, Daniel pulled Caroline aside and got down on one knee and proposed. Caroline said yes and was even more surprised to see her close family pop out of the trees and congratulate them! They decided to take their engagement photos under the snowy Tetons near Jackson, Wyoming. It was snowing lightly during their shoot which made for even more magical photos. Erin Wheat captured the couples playful love story while they made the most of the weather, throwing snowballs and making snow angels. The couple is planning a late winter wedding for April 9th.

ADVICE FROM PHOTOGRAPHER

“Find a photographer who is also familiar with the climate and working in it! This is so huge! It will not only allow for the most efficient use of time (which is mega important in winter hah!) but they will know the best tips and tricks for staying warm— which will make your images more natural.”
