ark Maestas is a builder. In his lifetime he has built well over thirty automobiles, trucks and motorcycles. “I was always working on cars, since I lived in North Denver,â€? Mark stated recalling that he started at an early age, his interest beginning when he was thirteen years old. He began working on his latest restoration, which he calls “Sickupâ€?, in 2009 when he purchased the vehicle. It took over two years to complete. ino Aragon celebrated his birthday last December 16th by gathering a bevy of his musician friends for a musical exWUDYDJDQ]D ZKLFK GHOLJKWHG DĂ€ FLRQDGRV OXFN\ HQRXJK WR KDYH caught wind of the event held at Jammin’ Joes in Arvada. /DNRWD Ă XWH SOD\HU &DOYLQ 6WDQGLQJ %HDU HQWKUDOOHG WKH FURZG DV KLV JUDQGFKLOGUHQ GDQFHG +HDYHQ %RXQG SOD\HG D VHW RI WXQHV UHĂ HFWLQJ WKH Christian faith. Dino was joined onstage by Nubia band members George Rivera on lead guitar, Ernesto Rivera, on bass and Ron Rivera on drums. Dino Aragon Sitting in was Art Salcido adding his awesome keybaord and Mike Martinez playing guitar. Nubia brought down the house with a stirring rendition of an original‌.â€?Oye Mi Ritmoâ€? a tune the band wrote back in the 1970’s. They also played original favorites including “Feel The Funkâ€? and “The Love I Have For You.â€? Dino drmmed ten years for Nubia. During his tenure as a drummer Dino has played with many other bands including Cruzin, Final Touch, All For You, Tina Navarro and Compamy, Dragon Fire, Blind Vision and Boomerang playing everthing from Old School, Top 40, Classic Rock to Rock and Roll. Through the years he has also done backline work, helping set stage for musicians such as BB King, Miles Davis, Tito Puente, Bob James, 6WDQGLQJ %HDU *UDQGFKLOGUHQ Tom Brown and Spyro Gyra. The Bar B a ker St reet P ub, with several locations in the metro area. Bel mar being one of the newest locations, this Pub did n o t d i s a p p o i n t e d . T h e a t - mosphere is consistent form location to location, laid back and diverse. No m a t t e r i f y o u ’ r e 21 o r 41 i t ’ s a P u b t h a t i s a s w e l - coming as it is enjoyable. Expect great ser vice with a wide variety of brews to chose from, but lets n o t f o r g e t t h e g r e a t f i n - ger food to keep you on your feet.
