Rosemont Applies for CACREP Accreditation
The College’s Graduate Counseling Program has submitted a self-study application to receive national accreditation through the Council of Accreditation for Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
The accreditation is for concentrations in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling at the Rosemont College Campus. In addition, it is for the Concentration of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Cedar Crest College Campus.
We are confident that the accreditation board will request a site visit in the near future with a final decision expected in Summer 2020. The Rosemont College Summer Writer’s Retreat will be
an intense virtual experience where you will work in one
genre over a weekend or over a week with a group of
like-minded writers and a master instructor. Workshops
are small and are limited to 10 participants. The retreat
will remain essentially the same as it has been in the past.
We’ll still be offering an intimate workshop environment
along with noontime and evening panels, readings, and
student open mics.
