Graitec Advance 2011 the lavteam says that it only works on os Xp, Win7 32 bits only Lavteam says pill tested only not Working only. Maybe will not work but my duty is to check.

RE: Graitec Advance 2011 these are the steps outlined by Lavteam on official release 1.Unrar and install the app.

2.Copy patched files: \patched\GRAITEC.exe to <installdir>\License Server\Bin\ \patched\grflexw9x86.dll to <programfilesdir>\Common Files\Graitec\ 3.Open license file: \patch\graitec2011.dat and replace in the first string 'pcNAME' with your PC hostname.

4.Create system variable LM_LICENSE_FILES = 7621@pcNAME 5.During the first run of the app register the license with choosing 'via server registration' option and enter your hostname as the server name and 7621 as a port.

Now the questions at pos 4. how do I create the file and what i have to do with it

RE: Graitec Advance 2011 @jcbv If is too hard to read and write try copy paste. @hapsea You don't need step 4 if you have one Flexnet Service only. If you want to add a system variable go to Control Panel/System/Advanced and add in Environement Variables.

Tested in Windows 7 32 bit and works. In Windows 7 64 bit the license is partialy checked and i need to continue checking.

RE: Graitec Advance 2011 BENNYP, i can see you managed to install. Please help me out a bit.

1.Unrar and install the app.

2.Copy patched files: \patched\GRAITEC.exe to <installdir>\License Server\Bin\ Where can I find this directory? My installdir is C:\Program Files\Graitec and I dont have a directory named License server there, or anywhere else on drive C: ( i tried search manually and automatically). Should I create this directory in installdir? I have to mention that I have Win7 x64. After I put it there should I run it? \patched\grflexw9x86.dll to <programfilesdir>\Common Files\Graitec\ 3.Open license file: \patch\graitec2011.dat and replace in the first string 'pcNAME' with your PC hostname.

Found it, done that, but shouldnt I copy this somewhere else? Doesnt say anything about where patch directory should be, so can it really be anywhere? I dont think so. So how did you do it? How do you link the medicine to this file?

RE: Graitec Advance 2011 1. Install License Server and install the Graitec programs.

2. Copy files graitec.exe (from patch) in a folder C:\Program Files\graitec\license server\bin\ and grflexw9x86.dll (from patch) in C:\Program Files\Common files\graitec\. (if you receive an error about open file run Windows Task Manager and kill the lmgrid proccess (usualy twice).

3. Edit the license file replacing it in the first line pcname with your ID (your computer name).

4. Create system variable lm_license_files = 7621@ID (no need if only one Flexnet service exists).

5 Run license server, pointing to edited license file. Read the tutorial of Graitec 2010 in post 23 (see number 4) here Code: http://forum.civilea.com/showthread.php?tid=5915&page=3 for configuring the service. Check the log and if no errors go to 6.

6. Run any program and select license using server. Change Server to your ID ,Port to 7621.

RE: Graitec Advance 2011 Wrote my hostname in the .dat file and done everything according to your link, and i get this when i click perform status enquiry: " GRAITEC: The desired vendor daemon is down.

Check the lmgrd log file, or try lmreread."

The log file generated says: "23:47:12 (lmgrd) Started GRAITEC (pid 2764) 23:47:12 (GRAITEC) FLEXnet Licensing version v11.9.0.0 build 87342 i86_n3 23:47:12 (GRAITEC) Invalid license key (inconsistent authentication code)" Is this because im using x64?

I tried reread, stop and start and nothing.

I run LMTOOLS, and add the license file (config services) but when I "perform diagnostics", this i what i get:

License file: C: \ Program Files \ Graitec \ License Server \ Bin \ graitec2011.dat -------------------------------------------------- --"AC_BASE" v11100, vendor: GRAITEC uncounted nodelocked license starts: 1-jan-1990, expires: 31-dec-2062 TS_OK: Checkout permitted when client is using terminal client This license cannot be checked out because: Invalid license file syntax.

Feature: AC_BASE License path: C: \ Program Files \ Graitec \ License Server \ Bin \ graitec2011.dat; FLEXnet Licensing error: -2,134 For further information, refer to the FLEXnet Licensing documentation, available at "www.flexerasoftware.com".

Hostid required for uncounted feature I did the same that I did for install GAS 2009 (this works).

RE: Graitec Advance 2011 The installation process was tested in Windows 7 32 bit and for this tutorial one more time in Windows XP SP3. The AutoCAD used was AutoCAD 2011. Don't forget Advance Concrete and Advance Steel works only in AutoCAD 2007 up to 2011 (or Architecture). The tutorial refers to Lavteam installation folders and a computer using C: as system disk and XP as Operation System.

1. Install License Server from Install\License Server.

2. Copy the license file (graitec2011.dat) to C:\Program Files\License Server\License File.

3. Check in Control Panel\System\Computer Name and remember the Full Computer Name. If your computer is member in a domain use only the first part of the name before the dot. This is your ID. 4. Edit your license file and replace pcNAME with your ID. 5. Run SetupAdvance from Install and install the applications.

6. Copy the file Graitec.exe from patch to C:\Program Files\Graitec\License Server\Bin. If you receive an Error Copying File or Folder (and you will receive) press Ctl-Alt-Del and using Task Manager End Process lmgrd.exe (you will see it twice).

7. Copy the file grflexw9x86.dll to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Graitec.

8. Go to All Programs\Graitec\License Server in Start Menu and run LMTOOLS.

Open Config Services and select as Server Name the new created Graitec License Server. At this stage the path to lmgrd.exe must be correct but the path to license file points to the temporary (DUMMY) license created by installation.

Browse to the right license (change in "files of type" to License File (*.dat) and select the license.

Go to the third line, press browse and in File Name input a name for the log file.

Check if Start Server at Power Up and Use Services has a V mark and press Save Services tab. Press Yes to save.

Back to Config Services and press View Log. You must see something like this.

Close Log and exit LMTOOLS.

Graitec Advance 2011 9.Run Advance Design (or any other Graitec Program installed). You will receive an error message.

Press OK and select "I want to connect to My Company License Server" and Next.

Fill the Server Name with your ID and Port with 7621 and press Next.

This is the result for Advance Design.
