Since late 2012, Rod Hutchinson baits have been sweeping the United States by storm, making their biggest presence in the southern east coast otherwise known as “Paylake country”. Flavors have long been known to give the angler better odds over others using different flavors and sprays. Hutchy Baits have shocked them all with the completely different range of flavors than most anglers over here are used to. People have been chomping at the bit to get their hands on them and with good reason, they are devastatingly effective. So you can imagine that the rest of the country would take notice of this and start to incorporate the flavors and sprays into their fishing. And because method or as we know it “Packbait”(usually an oat or grain based sticky mix) are used so widely here, the sprays really were a great fit. Pack your mix around the gripper or method lead, a few sprays and away it goes. A great edge all year round that can coax a take when conditions aren’t favorable. It certainly has helped account for many fish this year by many anglers spanning all the way from New York to Texas.
