Genuinely, I look forward to sharing my experience and passion in aiding the cultivation of art, artists, entrepreneurs, as well as this Magazine. FAME Live dedicates its pages to independents like myself who dare to dream fearlessly. Creatives who forge their own paths, escaping the matrix of normality. Individuals who decide to follow the call of their spirit, perform the songs they hear in their hearts, painting expressions of freedom from Buckhead to Nigeria. Yes, I am thrilled to be a part of this.

EDUCATION
During this climb of success, Veal agreed to sit down with FAME Live, opening up about the man behind these accomplishments. As you know, Fame Live focuses on Fashion, Art, Music and Education, we asked Jay how each has played a role in his development.
Veal has directed this love and appreciation of art and mathematics towards work. When he was younger he would listen to music while doing his homework and says it helped him through many calculus and chemistry problems.
Jay reveals, "I have a piece of art in my house in Dallas that is of Einstein. It's a classic piece that shows him surrounded by many formulas including the theory of relativity, gravitational pull equations, and more science and math theories. It is quite intriguing and intellectually engaging. Most that have seen it say that it is VERY fitting of me and shows dedication to my craft of mathematics."
Veal continues, "Education played a big role in my development at this point in my career. I moved from IT and Tech to Education, then to Education Entrepreneurship. I have now been a Math Instructor, Campus Math Instructional Coach, District STEM Instructional Coach, Math Interventionist, and Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at a University.
The importance of better opportunities for BIPOC is evident to Veal and thus he has dedicated his life to not only educating these students but also creating pathways to connect Black educators with students who look like them. Representation in education has been proven to have positive effects on student success, making a service like Black Tutors of Social Media invaluable. "I recently launched ed-tech nonprofit, Black Tutors of Social Media, to make even more change and close the student to tutor gap." Not only has Veal has been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, NBC, Black Enterprises, and other media publications, but his company has earned 13 awards for their practices of tutoring and education at INC Education which has served over 11,000 students nationwide who are mostly black and brown students. Veal says he is humbled by the attention but very focused on the work. His love for education became a life-long passion to make a better world for Black and Brown students. According to Veal, “I'm doing God's work now.” For parents of students in need of an online tutor, FAME Live endorses Black Tutors of Social Media.

JACIA GIBSON INTERVIEWS SHAY MCCRAY FOR FAME LIVE MAGAZINE.
Interviewer: How did you start your writing career? Talk me through the steps you take every day to keep your career going? Shay: I’m not a writer, I have not written a play since high school. I am an actress, radio host, a television personality and the owner of La’Shay Boutique. Oh my god, that question is a lot. I mainly try to stay relevant in anything that I do. For example, knowing that I have a shoe company I’m always thinking about shoes, or thinking about the relevancy of my show on FUBU Radio. It’s just hard because that is so much to break down. I would just say staying relevant.
