My artistic interests have always been deeply linked to the issue of volume and void, as well as on how these elements are set in space. This background led me to a deeper study of the various connections which are set between artwork and landscape, in order to understand how the viewer is immersed in these links.

Perhaps this is why I have always try to work with the greatest possible variety of materials such as resin, wood , metal , aluminum , plaster , marble , cement , recycling, etc. . and each of these has a peculiarity in itself that allows me to create a unique and creative language that I intend to get rich constantly.

My projects have always started from a very subjective view in terms of my personal experiences and anecdotes and how those shape my material elections. Each material represents and conveys something very special for me, this relationship is deeply tied to the language and the message I want to express.

“TIME IS A TWO WAY ROAD IN WHICH MAN FINDS HIMSELF OUT IN THE OPEN - rODRIGO GHATTAS
