Charity Donations 2022-2023
Each year, the Roedean community is proud to support a range of different charities, many local, as well as national campaigns.
During the pandemic, we used a cashless system for making donations, which many parents reported to be convenient and simple if you would like any donations to be added to your daughter’s school bill, please use this wufoo form: Charity Donations Form
Over the next few weeks, we will be supporting the Poppy Appeal and Children in Need you are invited to make donations to these charities on the above form. Your daughter will be able to collect a poppy in School before Friday 11 November, and she can accessorise her uniform with something spotty to mark Children in Need on Friday 18 November.
You are, of course, welcome to hand in cash donations to the School Office, if you would prefer to do so.

Upcoming Music Events
Autumn Gala Concert ‘The Natural World’, 18 November at 19:00 in the Chapel

Auditions for the Festival Fringe Concert
After half term, we will be auditioning students for the Festival Fringe concert. Please encourage your daughter to audition if she would like to! She will need to perform a movement from a concerto or a long piece/song with either full orchestra, strings or band accompaniment.
Street Dance Lessons
Street Dance lessons will soon be available for all levels beginner, intermediate, and advanced. If your daughter is interested in signing up for these lessons (either private or group sessions), please email Miss Abaza on sa@roedean.co.uk.
Pastoral Notices
The Vision Forum – Wednesday 2 November, Activity 1, in the Old Ref
The Vision Forum is a weekly discussion group for students in years 10-13 to discuss themes and topics that may be taboo to bring about understanding and cohesion, whilst learning and gaining better awareness. It is a safe space for us to discuss questions that we have always wanted to ask and didn’t know how to. If your daughter is in Year 10 13, she is welcome to come along.

Maths Clinics – weekdays during Activity 1
If your daughter feels that she would benefit from more help with Maths, please encourage her to come along to our Maths Clinics. There is one every weekday, so that anyone may attend all are welcome! If your daughter has any questions, she may also speak to her Maths teacher.
