Academic

Key Stage 3 is a time for students to experiment and find new passions, develop skills, and acquire confidence.  Students spend as much time learning other languages as they do in the Sciences, Arts and in Mathematics. The weekly Head, Heart, Hand Programme (HHH) offers practical, positive, and challenging activities for all KS3 students, such as first-aid, cultural projects, cooking, and philosophy. Every half term, different Wild Friday activities are offered to Year 7 including bushcraft, farming, and outdoor adventurous activities such as landyachting. Lessons are lively and engaging -this broad academic grounding provides the perfect foundation to progress to Key Stage 4, where 74% of all GCSEs in 2023 were awarded Grades 9-7.
