Welcome to the Roedean Sixth Form! I’m Maggie, and I joined Roedean as a Year 7 boarder and I had no idea what to expect – if anyone had told me that I would reach the top of the school with friends for life, having tried so many different things, and with so much more confidence in my academic work, I wouldn’t have believed it. And 7 years later, I’m Head of School and loving the Sixth Form! School isn’t just a building; it’s about the people in it. The community spirit here is strong and pastoral support is always on hand. It’s also a place where you’ll discover how to make the most of what interests you. Roedean gives you that confidence to try something EX new and know that it’s okay if things don’t go to plan. AM CE The Sixth Form at Roedean also prepares and CO B LL supports you fully for life after school, and EN NF ITIO ENC the new Sixth Form Centre is a hub for both RE GA ID N E learning and socialising.
IN SP GE EN As Head of School, the most important DE O M CE thing to me is to make sure that the girls PE NS EN are happy, and that everyone enjoys their ND IBI T time here. Roedean thrives on individuality, so all EN LIT you have to do is be you! CE Y

Your passport to the future is independence and confidence in everything you do. You will have a wealth of opportunities to pursue your talents and to explore new areas of interest. In the Sixth Form, we are looking for talented sportswomen who will lead on the pitch and on the stage; we want exceptional musicians who will also be highly skilled artists; we seek academics who can dance beautifully. This not only nutures the whole person, but also enables all to develop the attributes sought by future universities and potential employers.

SURROUNDINGS
The Roedean Sixth Form is truly a college within a school – after a £1.5million refurbishment, the Sixth Form Centre at Keswick is your space, with dedicated Sixth Form staff, areas which suit different learning styles, spaces for relaxing and catching up with friends, as well as for enjoying social events. It will be your hub in school, but you also need to be able to get out and about too, and you will have the freedom to go into Brighton and play a part in our surrounding community.
