Avon Tyrrell Avon Tyrrell is a leading outdoor activity centre run by the charity UK Youth. The dedicated team at Avon Tyrrell support young people to reach their full potential through outdoor activities from archery to climbing, mountain biking and raft building. Over 40 activities are available to schools, youth groups and families. Their inclusion weekends offer families who have a child with a disability an opportunity to come away together as a family (often for the first time) and experience outdoor adventure. The centre also trains outdoor instructors.

Factory Youth Zone The Factory Youth Zone is a charity run state-of-the-art youth centre providing a unique safe place for young people aged 8-21 years from across Manchester. With a wealth of sport and creative activities, The Factory welcomes almost 1,000 young people each week. The ward in which The Factory sits ranks 2nd worst in England for the effect of long-term deprivation on children. Many young people in the area are vulnerable to poor educational attainment, future worklessness and to developing offending behaviour. Barricade is Rohan’s own fully waterproof, windproof and breathable technology. It has been tested to withstand water from moving through the fabric under high pressure (20,000mm JIS L 1092-B). Breathability tests have proved that perspiration can be moved at a rate of at least 20,000g/sqm/24h ( JIS L1099-B1). All BarricadeTM garments are seam sealed to ensure waterproof performance. Unlike other inert waterproof fabrics, Barricade’s levels of breathability respond to humidity, increasing performance alongside increases in temperature. It’s also easy to wash with liquid detergent, and built to last.

Insect Shield® technology converts clothing into convenient and comfortable protection against biting insects.* Each Insect Shield® labelled garment is treated with permethrin – an invisible and odourless ingredient which protects against insects such as mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers and midges. The treatment is so tightly bonded to the fabric fibres that it retains effectiveness through the expected life of the product – well beyond the limits of most fabric finishes.

Thermal Insulation InsuloftTM is an advanced synthetic wadding with an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. It is tough, lightweight, packable, fast-drying and easy to wash.

Anti Odour Silver Tiny traces of silver are distributed evenly throughout the fibres of a garment. These inhibit the development of microbes that can grow exponentially in warm and damp areas, resulting in mould and odour. It is permanent, and will not wash out or wear out.

Dynamic Moisture ControlTM Dynamic Moisture ControlTM is a wicking treatment that rapidly spreads the moisture our bodies create across the surface area of a garment. This ensures that the garment dries more quickly and you stay more comfortable for longer periods during exercise.

Delivery Our standard charge is just £3.95 to mainland UK addresses; you should have your parcel within three working days. Please call for a price or check online if you need next-day or worldwide delivery. We also offer a Deliver to Store service. You can pick your order up from any Rohan store with no delivery charge. Someone from the shop will give you a call when it’s ready for collection.

Returns or Exchanges Please package the clothes carefully and include your exchange/new order form which came with your original delivery. Use recorded delivery or something similar. If it’s more convenient, take them into your local shop.

Our Guarantee Rohan products are designed and manufactured to be as functional, comfortable and durable as we know how. If for any reason they don’t live up to your expectations, we will be amazed, disappointed and keen to know why. We will then offer you a replacement, a refund or a repair.
