CONCEPT EVAPORATIVE COOLING •
The concept of the project is to make building around a central plaza such that the wind flow is not obstructed. Water features are used so that the central plaza is cooled through evaporative cooling method.
• The wind direction is from SW to NE. The wind coming from south west direction is bend at an angle which diverts the wind to central plaza.
ORIENTATION OF ROOMS • Rooms are given in north side for glare free light and on south sides with shading devices . This orientation is most optimum in case of office buildings. • Core is placed in west direction which acts as a thermal buffer and prevents the heat gain from west direction to travel further in the building.

ABOUT THE PROJECT Hospital is an indispensable part of the human life. It is one of the most complex but also the most interesting architecture types, which is a unity of technology and construction. The evolvement of medical architecture is closely connected with environment. With a capacity of 250 beds with 5 acres site area, proposed in medicity Chandigarh. Unlike most of the conventional local hospitals that try to create a vernacular or tropical architectural language, this hospital makes no attempt to follow the old paradigm hospital design in the region. It uses curtain wall to maximise natural daylight in north direction and egg crate windows on southern and western sides to cut out heat gain.

COLOUR THEORY The basic element used to design the facade is egg crate windows. It is repeated in both horizontal and vertical directions to create a sense of harmony, rhythm and contrast. The colour scheme of building have considerable effect upon its character and appearance. Colours used in the facade represents life. Colours used in the facade are basic rainbow colours. Colour is both a phenomenon and a medium of visual perception and communication. As a phenomenon, colour shapes how people experience the environment visually, while as a medium, it conveys meaning, emotional moods and functional information.

Industrial Project (Internship at M&A)
Ludhiana Beverages Private Limited (L.B.P.L) is an industrial project. Its main function is manufacturing of bottling of soft drinks and water packaging under ‘Cocacola’ It is located in Gram Panchayat village Mehlanwali Situated at Mehlanwali on Hoshiarpur road to Una road Tehsil & Distt. Hoshiarpur. The industry manufactures not only carbonated drinks and juices, it also packages mineral water like Kinley.
ABOUT
This is the Beverage plant of Coca Cola owned by Ludhiana Beverages Pvt. Ltd. and constructed at Hoshiarpur, UNA Road in Punjab. The plot area of this project is around 28 acres and built up area is around 4 lakh sq.ft. The construction of this project started in the end of March’2018 and target was to commence the project in Mar’2019 (i.e. within a year including external development). So, due to time constraint, M&A took following steps for timely completion of the project. • The Super structure of complete project is with pre-engg. building upto 3 storeys. • The readymade RCC boundary wall is used to enclose the complete plot area. • The readymade drain channels are used for the storm drainage.
DESIGN CHALLENGES So, with the help of latest technology we were able to complete the project in time and handover to the client for production before the end of financial year i.e. March 2019. Since it’s a zero-discharge project so the recharging wells are designed as per rainfall. The colour scheme of the project is also very soothing. To avoid accidents separate walkways are proposed for pedestrian movement till worker / visitor entry. The two wheelers & car parking is separate from heavy vehicle parking like trucks/ buses and even parking is designed outside the campus to avoid vehicular trafficinside the plant. The driver’s waiting area has been specifically designed with toilet. The road all around the building are sufficiently wide upto 12 mtr. In our opinion this is our one of the fastest projects while using latest technology.

ANNUAL NASA DESIGN COMPETITION 2018
COMPETETIONS
ABOUT NASA The National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA, India) houses the largest student body organizations in the world with participation from over 300 colleges in India and across the globe. NASA, India is an autonomous, non-profitable, non-political, nonreligious, and democratic body for the undergraduate students of Architecture in India.
BRIEF The design programme intends to explore, identify and re-interpret the liminal spaces in the respective context with a vision to inform (enforme/informe) a society. Liminal spaces are those thankless transitional, In-between spaces which remain in backdrop to highlight or connect with the primary functional boundaries.
CONCEPT Subway has influenced the lives of thousands of people. Where they daily circulate, establishing flows and routes, in an urbanistic and architectural intervention with large-scale dimensions. The elements like mural with primevaleffect and postulation of Le Corbusier’s buildings in chandigarh which serves as an informative piece for people along with the space designed which attunes events like
paintings by artists exhibitions and social mobilization that fringe the issues of augmenting child labor. The perception owes to empower the youth capital and suppress the aftermath as well as the mainsprings of child labor through the liability of the design. Hence, not obstructing the passage of the subway without excesses, yet being more expressive. This basic map of chandigarh is to be made on the entry/exit of sector 22 market, each sector depicts important landfmarks and attraction points to inform people who visit chandigarh. Plastic bottles collected by children will be sold in the charity shop/bottle crushing shop, where they will be guided and necessities will be provided to them.

SOUVENIR DESIGN COMPETETION NOTEBOOK DESIGN
CONCEPT The notebook design is inspired by the furniture designed by Pierre Jeanneret. When Swiss architect Pierre Jeanneret devised a teak-and-cane chair in the 1950s, his reasoning was simple: The people needed seats. The design was just one of several by Jeanneret that would be produced by the thousands for Chandigarh, India.
