General planning and renovation of youth penitentiary, Gerasdorf (took part in competition team as project architect, responsibilities : design the preliminary phase of project)
The subject of this competition is general planning of two following tasks 1. Rehabilitation of old building in the youth prison in Gerasdorf, 2. besides designing a new sector to the existing building.
The Gerasdorf prison located in lower Austria, south of Vienna in so called Steinfeld region on the eastern part of the Wiener Neustadt province. This prison was built in 1970 and since then operates as a special prison for young offenders with prison sentence. Current capacity of the old building is 122 prison cells.
In the design of this competition, following measurements should be implemented • Functional rehabilitation and revision of the old prison • Construction of new 42 detention cells as new structure should be attached to the existing building • Best adaption of the new and old building together in the design should be considered • technicians, electricians and so on.
Overall Concept
The limitation on the site ( the existing wall around the plot On both sides is also taken into account. The primary concern of the proposal for the new part is in accordance with The idea of having three groups of inmates, as each wing represents one group. The simplicity and eligibility of the design make the idea of the Three groups even clear from the outward appearance of the new sector.

Color concept
The color concept main focus is to be in accordance with the concept of three groups, as each single group has a light color palette. The color spectrum varies in a dark to light hue as one has more distance from Control room. The color concept is also could be followed from inside to outside to bring a synergy between interior and exterior.
Material Concept
Soft and varied materials (including wood and glass), better acoustics, and ample natural light—all of which have been shown to have a positive impact on the emotional states most prevalent among inmates and staff, like anger, stress, anxiety, sadness, and depression. These elements help to create a sense of comfort, protection and belonging, and most importantly, promote rehabilitation and healing.

General planning of new customer service and hospital of state insurance company, Vöcklabruck (took part in competition team as project architect, responsibilities : design the preliminary phase of project)
The competition is about designing hospital and some clinics and administrative part for a state insurance company in upper Austria, Voecklabruck. the main challenge is to hinder the highway sound contamination and provide a eligible entrance for visitor, beside providing proper delivery and disposal access. The functional program asks for physiotherapy clinics with wide range of sub-clinics to be accessed with no vertical circulation and to be located on the ground floor, which concerning the limitation on the site , was another complicacy to overcome.
Architecture, Urban planning concept
The urban concept of the new complex in existing environment tries to fulfil below objectives: • Clear building structure that provides optimal orientation/view for visitors and easy development structure for delivery, emergency, main entrance and visitor. • Consideration of acoustic emission of the adjacent highway by embedding the new building into the deep lying part of the plot. • Integration of the building in the urban and topographical Environment by proportion and position but also by the skillful reaction of the draft to the differences in height on land. The parking deck is designed under-ground, so that on one hand the natural ventilation of parking remains assured and on the other hand due to the vertical separation barrier-free access in the overlying Ground floor of the Franz-Schubert street is possible. This lowest level includes number of Parking spaces for staff and visitors, equipment rooms and Facilities for supply and disposal. Delivery for supply and disposal housed in the entrance area the parking deck making a clear distinction to visitors' entrance in the basement.

Smaller waiting areas create corridors providing the natural light into the circulation zones besides allowing short circulations by the means of optimized ways. The main design idea for the ground floor is to facilitate the circulation of the visitors without any need for an information point or lobby. The location of the staircase is eligible so the users can find the vertical circulation with no complicacy. Starting from the central entrance on the 1st floor, some functions such as Chief medical service and the premises for the customer service which necessitate the interface to the visitors in the dental clinic are organized. The disposal located in the west part in basement service areas integrate harmoniously into the overall structure. On the 2nd floor all other functions such as the areas dedicated to be rented out such as conference rooms and offices.

COMPETITION 2015 SENIOR ARCHITECT
KAOHSIUNG CULTURAL CENTER
Concept: The peaks of the wave are formed by special points that house the large concert hall and the shipping museum. These peaks are the marking of this special place and acts as lighthouses at the water’s edge. This strategy makes it unnecessary to build dedicated “landmark” in particular since all important points are built as special peaks according to their function. The whole complex is sung against the water’s edge at the transitional zone between the existing building and the water. Music and water movement connect, like dancing movements to an undulating motion that is translated into the built landscape. These peaks are aligned in different directions. The concert hall with an incubation center above it and sky-lobby face towards the town (‘the world is at your feet, feel like a star!”) The shipping museum peak faces toward the harbor and also houses a café with vantage point and the terrace on the upper floor.
ZECHNER & ZECHNER ARCHITECTS COMPETITION 2015 SENIOR ARCHITECT
Constructed landscape: The design target is creating an artificial landscape that erases the borders between inside and out, public and private and presents its entire self as a stage for activity. The built landscape and the building’s roof permit pathways on different levels and offers space for many vertical connections.
KAOHSIUNG CULTURAL CENTER
Constructed landscape: The project is a synthesis of park, event rooms, and open air stages and public spaces. The wave’s surface is a hybrid of public space, park and event area. The roof area can be accessed around the clock and remains a permeable room between the town and the water. Parties, walking, shopping, cafes and restaurants fill the public zones with life and enable activities even outside of events. In the performance halls and outdoor performance areas, pop culture comes to life and can be carried out into the world. The eastern project area along the seashore road will become a calm promenade as a horizontal addition to the skyscrapers with areas intended for a marina. The whole area is a home to music. The event area is a multi-functional public space connecting the areas of shipping museum, pop center and marina.

The inclination of the waved-shaped roof opens up the building to the north.in the south, its roof surface remains closed. Thus, even north light can fall in and overheating through the open southern sides can be prevented. A. Large Performance Hall The large performance hall is the center of the northern complex.to the north, a multi-leveled foyer is placed in front of it, moved back from the traffic area of the adjacent road.to utilize the great atmosphere of the waterfront, the actual access to the event hall is from south. B. Small Performance Halls The small performance halls are distributed over the whole area to enable concurrent use even if there are any large events. The rest of the time, the whole area will be kept alive in the evening and at night by several “hotspots. The stage areas offer high level of flexibility and can react to the continually requirements and moods. Restaurants in the direct vicinity can take over catering if required. C. Outdoor Performance Area The outdoor performance area forms an essential part of the artificial landscape that is developing to the west of the large event hall. The stage is placed so that synergy effects can be used. The outdoor performance area is surrounded by buildings on two sides to minimize the noise level from adjacent residential areas. Even there are no events the functional mix, large shadowed areas and temporary arts instillations will ensure a great atmosphere.

There are boat marinas to the south of the marine culture exhibit center. H. Commercial Areas Both shopping and gastronomy areas are placed all over the area. Restaurants and cafes are to be found mainly at the places with special atmosphere. Arcade and shadowy roofs invite shoppers along the shop fronts. I. Administration Area Administration Areas are located on the upper floors along the north face of the building. Environmental design – landscape architecture: A public park in the shape of a multi-part wave connects the sequence of different functional areas. 24 hour access and 24 hour activity in the areas are an essential part of this concept. The green and free spaces are designed according to different themes (water garden, beach, lawns, etc.)to offer a varied and diverse ambience. This strategy is supported by setting up a sculpture part of that becomes part of the artificial landscape and facilitates identification of the different areas. The concept consciously suggest deviating from a “scenic Landmark”, instead placing special Landmarks in several places of the complex that offer particular lines of sight (view of the water, view of the marina, view of the love river, view of the city, etc.)

A vertical addition of exhibition halls guides the visitors from the port area at Aker Brygge upwards - over the surrounding historical buildings of the former railway station. Several terraces allow a magnificent view to the fjords and all over the city of Oslo. Escalators are located on the outside of the exposition volumes and open the possibility of open overview while moving from one hall to the other. The exhibition halls themselves are according to the requested size - but anyway flexible - and offer introverted neutral rooms for all kinds of exhibitions.

The office floor presents combinatorial cells. The administrative cells are so organized that each has a view to the outside of the block resulting an expandable, flexible grid of 1.35 m on faรงade. Larger administrative units, communication zones and archives are designed with an interior orientation. Construction and Material The building is constructed with steel pillars and concrete slabs, in which the exterior walls are considered as load bearing walls. Loads are carried through prefabricated pillars which are designed with 8 to 10 m offset in both parking decks. The exterior walls of the building have an irregular design in a way that the whole faรงade present itself as an art stone wall; the quality of floating atmosphere of inside to outside of the unit is achieved through the lightweight steel-glass construction in faรงade. 1. reorganizing the inner function of both schools and make them in accordance with temporary need of temporary learning areas.
The two schools are located directly adjacent to the north (of the city) Wels. The (geographic) proximity of both schools to each other creates a school complex. The main concept was to design a sport complex to characterize this synergy.

The entrance to the Bundesgymnasium [ DISCONNECTED ENTRANCES ] (school) and Bundesrealgymnasium (school) is accessible through the Anton Bruc kner Street. The new concept provides a relocation of the main entrance to Wallererstrasse to give a stronger access to the school. As with neighboring Bundesrealgymnasium Wallererstrasse, the main entrance of the BG and BRG Anton Bruckner Street is located in the basement of the central wardrobe.
[ COVERING DISCREPENCIES ]
Both schools are consisted of three main block . if simply covered with a rectangular box, as we did in the conceptual phase, we tried to hide their formal discrepancies. The main reason is to find out the potential formal synergy could bring both schools in a better coordination with one another.

BG / Wallererstraße While the process of reorganizing the inner functions of both schools was concentrated primarily on facilitating the access to common spaces, such as aula, EDV rooms, library, labs , the reconfiguring the outside appearance of both schools , provided a chance to bring synergy and diminish the discrepancies between 2 schools in order to make a educational complex : discovering the discrepancies was the driving forces in the conceptual phase in 3 main points : 1. disconnected entrances 2. discrepancies in built and unbuilt 3. not unified formal appearance
[ SLICING THE VOIDS]
Analysing the void part or unconstructed part of both schools gives us a better idea how to bring them in a more efficient relation with existing buildings. The main concept of diminishing discrepancies was combined with designing a light, green structure as 2 sport halls which bring a synergy between two separated schools and gives them a look of a school complex.

DESIGN BRIEF The workshop will consist primarily of the disposition between fashion and context to evolve the idea of what we consider to be the fashion arena. This space will be derived through new architectural languages developed via the analysis of specific fashion items intertwined with the unique elements of the choose site. Site - A selection of one of three sites was possible. The Eiffel Tower, Paris The Grand Palais, Paris The Highline, New York City I chose the GRAND PALAIS in the heart of Paris for the catwalk scene. primarily i started to think about the very idea of the catwalk. Catwalk could repre sent in a speculative way a merge of interwoven qualities such as watching, getting inspired, get wondered, and of course merchandising. this interconnection is a by product of MOVEMENT, physically, visually and verbally. MOVEMENT and INTERCONNECTION, are the inspiring themes that lead me to see catwalk no just in a superficial way but speculating about its hidden structure.
