TIME SPENT WITH A BRIDGE
31/10/15 Kim’s Kafe
Time Spent With a Bridge is a collaborative project by Callum Macpherson, Wanmanyan Lotux and Will Bindley. The project sees a number of artworks created in response to St. Anne’s Bridge eventually culminating with an exhibition at nearby Kim’s Kafe. We hope locals to the area enjoy the pieces and their appreciation for the bridge grows — she’s a beauty!
A one minute film of the bridge can be viewed at:

A thick skinned animal with textured skin that bares its scars. Having supported itself whilst taking the brunt of all. Streamlined like a cheetah’s spine, essential, baring the weight of others, suggesting a certain ease and comfort. A grey northern day, consistent and overbearing, reliable and reassuring, an attractiveness thats hard to put your finger on, never stealing the show, but
not holding back. Gaps allow for sunlight to burst through. Its rigidity cut by a bowing arc. Not too loud, a constant in the background. The orange on blue, the curve on flat and the calm amongst the storm. —
