Roley Altizer

2001 -- Traumatic Brain Injury from bicycling accident which led to four brain surgeries, including one for an infection in my brain. I was in the hospital for a month, then in rehab for two more months. I lost a great deal of my short-term memory abilities, so I had to quit work. I'm now "disabled." Talking about a life-changing experience! Married for 32 years to Eve Bradshaw, also from Radford. We have two Korean children. One is 29 and is a chef. The other is 27 and received an MA degree in Museum Studies from NYU. She works for an art foundation in NYC. I also have two step-children. Both are married, and both have two children. One of the children has a child, so that makes me a great grandfather!
