The new iPad 2 is one of the best tablets currently on the market, it is truly a visionary product beyond it's time. With iOS 5 being released only a few weeks ago the device is now even better then before, hosting a wide array of new bells and whistles to get the most out of your new iPad. So what is the difference between iPad and iPad 2 anyway, apart from the obvious pricing difference. Well, for one the processor has been greatly improved upon from the previous iPad, now boosting up to 3 times to the speed of it's predecessor. But what does this actually mean for the user? I mean, obviously there are going to be some performance boosts but is this upgrade alone worth the more expensive option? I think it is. With this upgrade alone the iPad is not a lot more faster then before and that's an understatement. With an upgrade like this you can expect to see greatly improved multi tasking ability natively on the iPad 2, much greater then it's father. This A5 chip is also extremely energy efficient, gone are the days of having to recharge devices every couple of hours to get some good use out of them. The iPad 2 is said to have 10 hours of continuous usage before it needs a recharge, which is definitely an improvement as well. The addition of cameras is also a much needed upgrade to the device allowing a vast new multimedia usage. There is a 720p HD camera on the back letting the user take extremely high quality photos on the go, as well as a VGA camera on the front to take photos of the user (for Facebook I am assuming?). This completely fixes the problem with the device that many critics had in the beginning. The iPad 2 is truly an all around multimedia capable device now. Also with the iCloud coming soon to the device users will be able to sync all of their data between their Apple products over the web which is incredibly useful for not only normal everyday users but even more so to managers and business specialists who need their data backed up and streamable to any device they may need it on. This is similar to products such as Google Sync on the Android operating system and also independent services like Dropbox. The iPad 2 is definitely a must buy this year as well as next year as it is truly a device ahead of our time with not only it's sleek, sexy interface but amazing, innovative new technologies. I am looking forward to seeing what Apple will bring to use in the next decade!
