CÁMARA! LUCES! ACCIÓN! Bienvenidos de nuevo al 14avo Romantic Showcase; A los nuevos deciros que esperamos que lo podáis aprovechar en vuestras futuras necesidades y a la mayoría de repetidores verdaderos conocedores de nuestro proyecto, desearos que siga siendo un referente de nuestra relación con el entretenimiento. Este Show-case viene con una nueva tendencia que ya está marcando las nuevas formas del entretenimiento desde hace unos cuantos años. Así como en el Show-case del 2012 apostamos para la música en vivo en sus versiones acústicas para le creación de ambientes, en el del 2014, la tendencia fueron las bandas de rock en vivo con un éxito consolidado en este año a punto de terminar sin precedentes. Y como no podría ser de otra forma hemos incluido unas cuantas formaciones en esas dos modalidades también para contrataciones futuras. Para el próximo 2017 les auguramos que en la nueva fórmula de actuación de las PERFORMANCES dentro de un concepto tematizado, está siendo un gran hit en los escenarios más vanguardistas del momento. Para el show-case de este año a punto de comenzar queremos apuntar en esa dirección para aquellos que deciden unirse a la innovación necesaria hoy en día para el público de nueva generación. También quiero aprovechar el momento para dar mi más sincera enhorabuena y mi eterno agradecimiento a todos los Artistas que han sido seleccionados para esta presentación y al resto del elenco de nuestra compañía, que aunque no están presentes cada uno con su aportación diaria están siendo con su buen hacer y la pasión que tanto nos caracteriza a todos, el devenir del proyecto Romantic... LIGHTS! CAMERA! ACTION! Welcome to the 14th Romantic Showcase. For the newcomers, we hope you find all you need in terms of covering your future requirements, and for all our returning customers, those who are already familiar with our project, we hope Romantic will continue to be a reference in terms of entertainment. This Showcase features a new trend that has been setting the standard for entertainment for some years now. In 2012 our Showcase focussed on live, acoustic music to create ambience. In 2014 the trend was for acts featuring live rock bands, repeated this year even more successfully. As is to be expected, a selection of bands and performers of both these styles are available for future bookings. For the coming year, 2017, we predict that the new concept of ‘themed’ performances based on the latest avant-garde shows being performed will be a big hit. In an effort to provide a service for those who wish to partake in the innovation that new-generation audiences require, this is precisely the direction we want to take for next year’s Showcase. I would also like to take this opportunity to offer my most sincere welcome and thanks to all the artists who have been selected for this presentation in addition to all our employees, whose daily input and characteristic knowhow and passion have paved the way for the evolution of the project Romantic...

George Peña

Humor, Skits and Songs

Jorge Peña es un cantante de ópera clásica que estudió en la Universidad de Boston y en la Julliard School of Music. En 1991 George Peña se unió a Club Med Entertainment y viajó por el mundo actuando en producciones de teatro musical que él mismo escribió y produjo. Como consumado cantante, George desarrolló amor por la comedia y decidió trasladarse a Inglaterra para tratar de escribirla. Su éxito lo llevó a España en 1998, donde decidió establecer su hogar. En 2002, George Peña fue invitado a actuar en el Festival de Comedia de Edimburgo donde cautivó al público con su humor, su voz y sus parodias. En los últimos años ha disfrutado de varios George Tours —giras exitosas en Escandinavia, para las audiencias de Suecia y Finlandia—, y continúa trabajando en la producción y interpretación, en exclusiva para Romantic Corporate.

-------------------------------George Peña is a classiacally trained opera singer who studied at Boston University and Julliard school of music. In 1991 George Peña joined Club Med entertainment and traveled the world performing in musical theater productions that he himself wrote and produced. As an accomplished singer, George developed a love for comedy and decided to move to England and try to write sketch comedy and stand up. His success brought him to Spain in 1998 where George decided to make his permanent home. In 2002, George Peña was invited to perform in the Edinburgh Comedy Festival where he wowed audiences with his original humour that involved using his voice in parodies and song. In recent years George has enjoyed succesful Tours in scandinavia playing to Swedish and Finnish audiences and continues to work in production and performance exclusively with Romantic Corporate.

El dúo ON TOP es perfecto para amenizar veladas tranquilas con el encanto y dulzura del Smooth Jazz, y su selección de los temas más conocidos del jazz y otros estilos versionándolos al swing, bosanova, etc. Compuesto por el gran pianista Toni Martel, de 48 años, que lleva un largo recorrido como pianista solista y acompañante, tocando todos los estilos, y Marga Castell, de 30 años, que lleva desde los 18 como cantante y corista. Con su música os harán entrar en una atmósfera de tranquilidad y conexión con cada una de sus interpretaciones.

-------------------------------The duo On Top is the perfect accompaniment for relaxing evenings with a repertoire that combines the charm and serenity of smooth jazz with a selection of well-known jazz, swing and bossa-nova classics, among other styles. Déjà Vu Reinventing their own versions, including ukulele, guitar & vocals El dúo acústico “Déjà Vu”, esta formado por la voz y el ukulele de Ophélie, una parisina autodidacta, de formación artística, y por la guitarra y voz del madrileño, Enrique, guitarrista apasionado desde hace más de 20 años que ha tocado en diversas bandas de la escena madrileña. El resultado de estas dos personalidades y culturas distintas son versiones acústicas “Mood Music” de varios estilos, Swing, Pop, Raegge, Country, Bossa-Nova, etc, y diferentes épocas, desde los 50’ hasta la música más actual. Un repertorio muy amplio, para agradar todos los gustos, pero siempre con el toque «Déjà Vu», reinventando sus proprias versiones, entre ukulélé, guitarra, voces y buenas vibraciones en general. Hablar de Déjà Vu no es fácil con solo palabras, ¡mejor escucheles!

-------------------------------The acoustic duo ‘Déjà Vu’ comprises ukulele player and singer Ophélie, a self-taught Parisian artist, and Enrique, a Madrid-born guitarist and singer who has plied his trade in a number of bands on the Madrid scene for over 20 years. The resulting combination of personalities and cultures is an “Mood Music” duet who cover a range of styles that includes Swing, Pop, Reggae, Country, Bossa-Nova, among others, and encompasses music from the 1950s to the present day – a wide-ranging repertoire that will delight all audiences with their characteristic combination of ukulele, guitar, vocals and good vibrations. SCANDOL Rock BAnd es una de las más famosas bandas de rock búlgaras. Formada por: Ivan Liubomirov —guitarra, voz—, Kostadin Shumarov —batería, voz—, Nikolay “Five” Daradidov —bajo, voz— y su líder, Ivaylo “Ivo” Gochev —voz, guitarra acústica—, que también está disponible como guitarrista trovador. La banda comenzó en 1991 con grandes conciertos en Sofía y en todo Bulgaria. En muy poco tiempo la banda llamó la atención de la Televisión Nacional Búlgara, la prensa y las emisoras de radio. En la actualidad, los programas televisivos de éxito junto con las principales listas de radio les están siguiendo sus canciones originales. Boyana Zhelyazkova es un violinista búlgara, cantante, letrista y compositora en los estilos de jazz, étnico, pop, rock, clásica y electrónica. Su carrera musical comenzó a la temprana edad de siete años aprendiendo a tocar el violín con los maestros más laureados de Bulgaria. Boyana se graduó de la Academia Nacional de Música de Sofía y desde entonces ha participado en la Good Music Society Band, ha colaborado en la grabación del álbum de la banda Ajabez y ha colaborado con su violín y voz para diferentes proyectos de estudio, álbunes y bandas sonoras. Boyana ha trabajado con muchos músicos y compositores de estilos diferentes, tales como: Jamie McDonald, George Strezov, Matt Bowdler, Borislav Slavov, Joshua MacCluer, Two Cities One World Band, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Sofia Session Orchestra, el grupo Asen&Milena y muchos otros. También ha participado, a nivel mundial, en el álbum de la empresa irlandesa Sean Agus Nua. Esta violinista búlgara también es famosa por escribir musicales para niños y colaborar con el “Museo de la Muñeca de Bulgaria” en Sofía. En 2011 escribió la música para la obra de teatro “Loveplay”. Actualmente trabaja en diferentes proyectos, bandas y orquestas, sin dejar de mano su primer disco en solitario con composiciones originales.

Her musical career began at the early age of seven when she first began playing the violin learning with famous teachers in Bulgaria. Boyana graduated State Academy of Music in Sofia. Gabor is the lead choreographer and member of the 2x World Champion Black Time hip hop dance group (first place in 2005 and 2007 at the IDO Hip Hop World Championship held in Bremen) In 2010 and 2011 they won a very prestigeous hip-hop competition “Big Bang” in Belgium. With his new crew QUANTUM XXL Dance Crew they won the first prize and the audience prize on ”Phat Skillz”street dance contest in Germany in 2012. In the same year they appeared on a Hungarian talent show, and marched straight through to the final. Since then they have become one of the most successful groups in Europe.
