Staff Advancement Lisa Smith served as President of the Georgia Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus. Lisa Smith, Chris Cannon & Ann Hortman attended the 2010 Georgia Governor’s Conference and met with legislators. Chris Cannon & Ann Hortman coauthored an article on economic impact published in Sports Destination Management. Chris Cannon, Ann Hortman & Linda Smith earned Rome the title of ‘Camera Ready Community� during a ceremony in Atlanta. Ann Hortman represented Rome at the SSAC meeting in Montgomery, Ala. Kathy Mathis completed continuing education in tourism management. Chris Cannon received internet marketing training at the Susan Sweeny Internet Bootcamp. Ann Hortman presented at the NAIA Host City Conference.
