EXPLORE A DEEP, NATURAL FEELING THAT EACH OF US HAVE INSIDE.

If I want to express my design concept in one word, it is Intuition. I have always hoped that I can directly and self-evidently let others understand what I want to convey in my design. Therefore, I try different colors to represent each of my works. I think the feeling of color is efficient and direct. For example, light blue can quickly connect people with "water". In this way, the viewer can clearly and directly read the message I want to convey from my work.

CONVEY-UX CONFERENCE REDESIGN

02

PROJECT CONCEPT

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

For this project, I chose Convey-UX as my redesigned conference. I used yellow and white as the font colors to make them more eye-catching and readable on a black background, which makes it easier to attract the viewer’s attention.

This assignment was to choose a conference and then redesign it to create a new visual system. The project needs to include poster, booklet, signage, name badge, web and App.

WATERWORTH WATER SAVING APP DESIGN

14

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

PROJECT CONCEPT

The assignment was to design an app to make people gradually develop water saving awareness.

I designed this app to monitor water consumption by connecting different monitoring devices to help people understand their daily water consumption. These devices help people become aware of any unnecessary water use. I used blue and shape of waves as the visual elements of my app, so that users can intuitively know the functions of the app.

PAINTING FOR PLEASURE AUGUSTE RENOIR

24

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

PROJECT CONCEPT

We were asked to choose an interested artist to design a book related to him. So this book tells the life of the famous painter Renoir and the transition of his painting style from young to old.

I chose his self-portraits and oil paintings of different periods as the main visual elements to run through my whole book. Because his painting philosophy is to paint for happiness, I named this book “Painting for Pleasure. At the same time, I used three colors to connect with my title, and also to distinguish my different chapters.

ACADEMY CONNECT SOCIAL MEDIA APP

36

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

PROJECT CONCEPT

We were asked to design an APP for the mobile device. Learn what it takes to design the User Experience following mobile design guidelines. Conceptualize, prototype and design an APP to solve a personal problem for a target audience that you related to.

I designed a social app Academy Connect for college students. This APP allows you to connect with other students. Everyone can add school events to their personal calendar, and set reminders, other students can also easily access your personal calendar to understand your schedule when you allow it. You can also accept or post important information on this social platform, and use the app to connect with old friends and make new ones.

TIMELINE BILLIARD MATCH —JEFF AND MARK PLAY 9 BALL IN THE BAR

44

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

PROJECT CONCEPT

We were asked to design a information graphic (timeline and chart) that will explain an event of my choosing.

I chose to design a timeline graphic to tell a story of two friends playing nine balls in a bar. Because the background of the story is in the bar, my design elements focus on the beer packaging design, such as bottle caps, bottle labels, and beer holders. Regarding the timeline, the progress of time is shown through information such as the two goals scored and the remaining amount of beer. In addition, brown and gray as the main color choices can be closely related to the theme of the bar.

THANK YOU ! In the past three years, I have received help from many people. First of all, I want to thank all my EAP teachers. They helped me improve my English level, which laid a good foundation for my later professional courses. Then I would like to thank my professional class teachers, Jeremy Stout, Hunter Wimmer, Sandra Islla, David Hake, Andrew Loesel, for their guidance and let me make a breakthrough in graphic design. And I thank all my classmates for their help in my daily study, and my family for their support and encouragement over the past few years. Thanks to everyone who helped me.
