Biography of Ronnie Tarchichi

Ronnie Tarchichi boasts a remarkable educational history, marked by numerous graduate degrees across various disciplines His crowning academic achievements include his Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Temple University, which he attained in 2020 with a focus on Special Education, and a Doctor of Education from Rowan University in 2016, specializing in Educational Leadership.

He also completed six Master's degrees Between 2015 and 2018, he earned two Master of Arts degrees at Rowan University in Learning Disabilities and Special Education, respectively. His earlier academic endeavors included a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from The College of New Jersey in 2011

Additional qualifications include a Master of Biomedical Science from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, a Master of Science in Biology from Rutgers University, and an earlier Master of Education in Physical Education and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey in 2005 He began his higher education journey with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Philosophy from West Virginia University in 2004.

Professional Experience in K-12 Education

In 2024, he assumed the position of Executive Director of Education and Principal at the Mary Dobbins School & Legacy Treatment Services in Hainesport, New Jersey. Here, he manages the educational and therapeutic programs for grades 5 through 12, fostering each student's emotional, intellectual, and behavioral development. His responsibilities also include serving as the Chief School Administrator, Building Principal, and Learning Disability Teacher Consultant of the Child Study Team, spearheading the expansion and improvement of the Mary A Dobbis School.

Previously, from 2016 to 2024, he was the Superintendent of Pennsauken Public School District, managing a $172 million budget. He launched over 20 career and technical education programs, including unique initiatives such as the first Puratos baking career and technical education program in the U S , located at Pennsauken High School He also focused on enhancing athletic facilities, including a new $7,000,000 Field House, and initiating teams in sports such as Crew and Ice Hockey He also built the Roosevelt STEM School, which was ranked as the number-one State School in New Jersey's history.

Before Pennsauken, he served as the Superintendent and Principal of Woodlynne School District from 2013 to 2016, overseeing a $13 million budget and leading significant improvements in student performance and school facilities His leadership earned him a $4 million ROD Grant for facility upgrades and recognition from the local Mayor and Police Chief with a Leadership Award.

His earlier roles included Vice Principal at Salem County Vocational Technical Schools and Supervisor of Secondary Education at Mercer County Technical Schools, where he launched a Health Science Academy and taught Advanced Biology

Experience in Post-Secondary Education

Beyond K-12, he also taught at the collegiate level, serving as an Adjunct Professor of Biology at Rowan University from 2012 to 2017 He taught biology, chemistry, and microbiology at Burlington County College and Mercer County College. He worked with the Upward Bound Program at Temple University to prepare high school students for college

Vocational Experience in the Culinary Field

For 25 years, he was the Head Cook at his family's restaurant, mastering food preparation and service alongside his mother This experience instilled in him a profound understanding of customer service and food safety, which he has carried into his professional career.
