abraham and thakore Surfaces developed during summer internship

The aim of the internship was to work for an organization of repute with congenial work atmosphere. I worked with Abraham and Thakore for 8 weeks. During my course of intrnship I was to develop surfaces for women’s wear and home furnishing. The selected ones would be carried forward in Wiils Spring summer 2012 and Autumn winter 2012 fashion week collection. The themes were remnant and boro and I had to bring in the rough, raw ends of fabric in focus. A colour story of black, white and beige were taken mostly for the coming fashion week. I carried on with the surface designing almost throughout my internship for wills autumn winter 2012. The pictures show the swatches deveoped for remnant and boro.

The raw edges are seen visible in all the samples.
