As a Undergrad I see Internships as the most soughted opportunity one can expierence during the period of study, at the training period of six months I was involved in various activites and discussions by the firm which helped me shaping my understanding of the field rather than viewing it just as a course and helped me gain new perspectives beyond academic environment.

The works mentioned in this section are for representation of my learnings and takeaways and are genuine to my knowledge and are a property of Infrabees Project Management Consultants Private Limited

The proposed Multi - Speciality Facility which is located at the city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala is under construction during my period of internship and is currently at the completion level of its Phase -1.

The project is of long term and is carried out in two phases namely Phase - 1 and Phase -2 due to the existing site conditions where there exists a fully functioning hospital. Located at the heart of the city and being one of the prime healthcare providers in the city the client had requested for a construction management programme without affecting their service and functioning.

Hence the project is carried out in two phases as mentioned earlier where a portion of the old hospital is demarked and demolished for the excecution of the new structure whereas the other part is kept intact and completely functioning. Once the Phase - 1 is completed certain spaces within the Phase -1 will act as temporary spaces which will be shifted once Phase - 2 is complete.

Being a complex design and project management process this project it consits of consistent work coordination among the Architectural and the extended team of Structural engineers, Hvac engineers, Electrical engineers, Site managers, Labours and Vendors this project gave me some insights beyond design into management and excecution part and helped me develop interest towards project management as well.
