There will be over 100 paintings in the exhibition, a few of which are illustrated in this catalogue. Work may be purchased on receipt of this invitation. or most of us, life poses its fair share of challenges and difficulties. Some large and momentous, others small and faced on a daily basis. Globally, we have been through some difficult social, political and economic times.

We are all in need of respite and restoration from time to time. These verses in Psalm 23 (below) were written by King David, himself no stranger to difficult situations. They convey a promise, by God, that He will “restore” us. This restoration is of our spiritual, mental and physical being. Perhaps it is also a restoration of our relationship with God. I hope that as you view the works of art in this exhibition, you will feel led by quiet waters and that you will receive restoration, respite, and ultimately a sense of peace in your life.

Since graduating from the Chelsea School of Art, Rory has established his reputation as a contemporary landscape artist. His vibrant and richly textured mixedmedia landscapes have met with increasing success and have gained national and international recognition. Rory has received numerous prestigious awards, and has contributed to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition on a number of occasions. He has had over 20 solo exhibitions to his name in recent years. This latest solo exhibition, “Quiet Waters”, is sure to be one worth visiting.
