Amenities & Stackholders
The value estimation of the buildings from library research and site visit, approved that not all the buildings are built originally. Low rise buildings in the south of the complex, a part of university lounge, and some small structure which were added to the east side of the complex buildings were considered to be demolished consequently.
Clinker is developed to function as a central public hub. All the orange paths, spreading around the complex and outside of it, end in the clinker. Clinker is also the starting point of the tour toward Bibi-Shahrbanu mountain, Cheshme Ali , Rashkan historical hill, and the touristic urban axis which connects Safayie Square to Shah Abdul Azim Shrine.
The existing buildings of the factory have limited open spaces and there is no visual connection form the street in the north to the south toward the landscape. Elevated passages provide this connection, while collect the rainwater from the sloped ceilings of the buildings which is shown in 1st poster. The water is stored in water storage pond ultimately.
Functions are clustered in three axes around the clinker, to serve the needs of people of the area to tourists. Different amenities provide Commerce, Leisure, and Culture for different stackholders and target audience. In order to know about these categories, please take a look at the ground floor plan at first poster.

Open Spaces Around the Clinker
NatuRay Clinker| City’s Living Room Clinker is made open to function as the living room of the city. The non-loadbearing walls of the clinker are destroyed to leave space and light for planting trees and flowers in either sides of the length of it. There are sitting corners for public, two adaptive auditoriums for performances and conventions, and some medium sized conference rooms. The conference rooms and auditoriums are going to be rented out to increase the profit of the complex. A wide range of open spaces for public are designed in between the buildings. To count a few, as it is shown in three impressions above, the plazas around the clinker, museum entrance plaza in the east side of the complex, and the open space alley between the clinker and the north silos are made eligible and delightful by orange passages and water passages.
