BIOGRAPHY
Rosario Puñales belongs to a family who has been in the business of fashion, textile printing and embroidery for more than sixty years. She has always felt the call for the textile industry and has devoted herself to it. For this reason, she decided to create her own trademark for lingerie, which is very personal, and full of subtlety and sensuality. From 1998 to 2002 she studied fashion and pattern making at the Institut Català de la Moda in Barcelona. Later, she specialized in drawing and painting for textile design at the Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, and in textile printing at the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. In Japan, she learnt the traditional techniques of textile printing, which she applied in her first collection, “Prints for Miwako”.
rethinkING traditional lingerie
Rosario Pu単ales designs vintage-inspired lingerie. She creates her culottes, bodices, tops, slips and gowns with lace created in the 20s and 30s, giving her garments an innocent and, at the same time, provocative flavor. Owing to the age of the fabrics, her clothes come in limited stocks, so many of her garments are unique pieces. The colors of the lace are contrasted and harmonized. Modern patterns are combined with suggestive and elaborated fabrics such as chantilly, embroidery or guipure, and are enriched with delicate frills that give the pieces a special touch.

The collection is complete with reversible silk gowns/kimonos, silk lace “boleros�, lace slips and dresses, very suggestive and delicate.
Modern patterns are combined with suggestive and elaborated fabrics such as chantilly, embroidery or guipure, and are enriched with delicate frills that give the pieces a special touch.
The collection consists of limited edition pieces, making many of the pieces into unique pieces.

HOW TO WEAR (HTW) by Rosario Pu単ales Lingerie
In Rosario Pu単ales Lingerie we propose promote our collections from several aspects, one is the How To Wear concept (HTW), where the lingerie are influenced by being hung closet instead of saving in the lingerie drawer. The soft textures that we made our designs are combined with materials of outerwear shaping a style trend; HTW aims to show our Lingerie garments from inside and out.

ALICANTE FILM FESTIVAL
In the 11th edition of Alicante Film Festival. Rosario Puñales presented the latest collection of Vintage Lingerie, recovering the history of the show Ziegfeld Follies (Broadway musicals created and run by Florenz Ziegfeld inspired by the Folies Bergère in Paris), and small jazz clubs in homage to Zelda and Scott Fitzgerald ... The event took place in the space Parking Gallery that became a catwalk where the models paraded culottes, bras, tops ... with lace and trimmings of the 20s and 30s that give your pieces a perverse and innocent air at once.
“LOVE IS IN THE AIR”
The night of the lovers Rosario Puñales celebrated in the iconic Latino Theater of Barcelona with a magic party full of luxury with their fetish clothing collection 2014. It created an atmosphere of sophistication wrapped in garments made with tulle, silk fringe and lace with a wide range of color by reference to its two most recognizable characteristic lines, the Cabaret & Burlesque and Romantic & Bridal.
