Every summer Rosary Academy welcomes families in the surrounding communities for adventure, discovery, teamwork, and fun. Each week you’ll find new opportunuities to learn and grow. What’s Cooking?
(4) Weeks: 1, 4, 5 & 7 - 9 a.m. to noon
$199
Get four different experiences in cooking! Sign up for one, two, three, or all four. Week 1 is Meal Prep, where you’ll create exciting meals to serve at home. Week 4 is Candy Science featuring a variety of ways to conjour sugar, water, and flavorings into sweet treats. Week 5 is Baking, where you’ll mix up a range of breads and goodies. Week 7 is International Cooking, where you’ll discover great dishes from around the world. Contact the instructors (listed on the back) about food allergies and accomodations.
Photography
$139 Week
For girls and boys rising to grades 5-8
1 starting June 14 - 9 a.m. to noon
Kids who want to see their photography skills soar will enjoy this photo camp designed to inspire and teach aspiring young photographers the basics of photography. Students will enjoy photo “walkabouts” around campus and in Acacia Park as they capture nature photos. Learn the importance of proper exposure, composition, and creating a photo with impact. Canon SLR cameras will be provided by the school. To save your images, students should bring an SD camera card (minimum 2 GB) . For girls and boys rising to grades 5-8
Creative Writing
Week 2 starting June 21 - noon to 3 p.m.

Let your imagination take center stage while learning the secrets of exciting storytelling! Participants will be challenged to add interest and suspense to their writing, practicing the same techniques famous authors use to create the pageturning adventures they love to read. This camp will help develop strong writing skills and develop the author’s voice through self-expression.
Science Labs
For girls and boys rising to grades 5-8
$139 Week 2 starting June 21 - 9 a.m. to noon If you enjoy blowing things up, or just getting wet and a bit messy, then science camp is the place to be! We will make mini rockets, squirt guns, lava lamps and more. Each day will focus on one aspect of science, making hands-on experiments and reviewing the scientific method. Science camp is an exciting romp through physics, nature, and time! For girls and boys rising to grades 5-8
Write On!
Week 4 starting July 6 - 9 a.m. to noon
$139
Ready to write with purpose and power? This class will strengthen your writing fundamentals: developing ideas, research, organization, and using effective grammar and punctuation. With mini-lessons topics such as audience and mode, campers will leave the class feeling more confident and proud of their work. Each student will also receive the opportunity to be published in our student newspaper, The Royal Reporter!
For girls rising to grades 3-8
Girls Lead!
Week 5 starting July 13 - 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
$150
Girls will be guided to develop skills and find resources to dream big and lead with confidence. Through arts and crafts, prayer and meditation, dance, self-defense, guest speakers, and group discussion, each girl will gain the tools and confidence she needs to recognize and live up to her full potential.
Songwriter’s Workshop
For boys and girls rising to grades 5- 8
$139 Week 6 starting July 19 - 9 a.m. to noon Have you ever wanted to be able to write your own music? Students of all skill levels from complete beginners to advanced players are welcome; no prior experience is necessary. Just bring an instrument (guitar or ukulele) and a passion or interest in learning the basics of: playing guitar or ukulele, creating a chord progression, writing melody, proper vocal technique, writing your own lyrics, and performing, recording and sharing your songs with others.

Dynamic Ceramics
Week 6 starting July 19 - 9 a.m. to noon
$139
Where can aspiring artists express themselves, unlock their creativity, and get a little dirty in the process? Ceramics will have campers using their hands and a few simple tools to create beautiful and functional clay objects. By the end of the week, students will have formed a hand-made treasure to keep forever!
Math Academy
$25 (2) Weeks:
For girls and boys rising to grades 5-8
7 & 8 - 9 a.m. to noon
Eight stand-alone sessions offer a review of select mathematics topics for enrolled campers. Watch the topics come alive with practical and interactive demonstrations and activities. Each session is $20 and runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Students may attend one, some, or all of the sessions.
