7daysinmylife.com is an online user research tool. It will help you understand your customers better. This will inspire you and your team to develop more relevant brands, products or services. And it will give you the insights to base decisions on.

7daysinmylife.com is an online environment where users can create their own diary. They can upload images, type text and add icons. They are triggered to talk about themselves by the assignments you give them. These assignments will be about the use of your products and services, and about the context in which they use them. Example assignments are: ‘map your day on a timeline’, ‘create a mind map’, ‘provide images of important events in your week’.

HOW DOES 7DAYS WORK?


7DAYSINMYLIFE.COM

1. You create your research assignments and upload them to the content management system. 2. You select users and give them an access code. 3. You select the research team and give them an access code. 4. Users will start creating their diary, by uploading images and text, using email, web, or mms. 5. The research team will receive e-mail updates of daily progress. 6. The research team can visit the diaries, comment on them and discuss their insights with their colleagues (users don’t see this). 7. All the content can be exported to image folders, or pdf’s. 8. The data remains yours; to be used in workshops, innovation projects, design briefs, further ethnographic research etcetera. 3
