A New Year with new possibilities I have always loved the start of a new year; a opportunity to leave the old behind you and start over. Some good things continue though such as our project!! Less then three months ago we launched this project in London. It feels like ages ago. Since then a lot of work has been carried out. Peer groups have been formed in the project schools as well as international peer groups. Right now we have 64 students working together from 4 different
It is really interesting to try new things and try to share your enthusiasm. It is quite hard to form ideas into communication

countries divided into 15 international peer groups.
Our first tasks
Our teams
The goal this first semester was to have each of our national peer groups to work effectively. We have accomplished that by doing different group activities. We have also educated our students about e-Safety, copyright and have introduced them in using different programs on computers or tablets. We have put up posters about ”Netiquette” in our schools to remind or students about does and dont´s when you are online.
Logotype I was hoping to be able to show you all our brand new project logo, unfortunately it is still a work in progress, All our students worked very hard in creating a logotype for the project. All countries made 5 different logotypes and the different schools had an local competition to find the two best once who competed with the other logotypes in the project. We had two winners with the same number of votes, Denmark and Sweden. Therefore we decided to make these two into one. The final touch is yet to be made.
Peer work among teachers In some of the schools the work with peer groups learning more about using ICT in the classrooms has started. Next semester we will hopefully share good practice on a larger scale in the field of geography, social studies as well as other subjects.
Coordinators meeting Due to the fact we lost a partner in the period between the project application was submitted and the project got started we had to change the mobilities around. Even so it is

turned out to be more than 6 months between the first and second meetings. Even if all the tasks have been made according to the project plan we felt that we needed another meeting to make sure that our work continue to go well. Therefore an extra coordinators meeting will take place on 5th February in the Copenhagen.
Next semesters activities The first activity the national peer groups will be to create an ebook about their own country where the students will write about; geography, climate, system of government, school system as well as their own school, activities in their home towns as well as the best and worst things about their country. The second step will be for the international workgroups will produce a movie or a podcast where they discuss similarities and difference between their different partner countries In March each national workgroup makes a tutorial in their native language about how to make a movie or podcast. This tutorial they will use to teach their classmates. Another activity that will take place in March is an role play activity about the EU. This semester’s mobility will take place in Rauma, Finland where some of our students finally will meet and learn new skills together. The lucky students that will travel will share their experiences in a number of different ways in their schools. In May the international workgroup “Exercise on cross curricular entrepreneurship” resulting in a commercial campaign. And finally in June it´s time for evaluation and planning the coming semester.
