Colleton Point Pavilion Colleton Point Pavilion will be receiving some much needed TLC this week. Painting and wood repair began today and is expected to continue through the week. The Gazebo and the Dock are still available for use but, the Pavilion will be closed to the public till the work is complete.
Tennis Courts at Willow Lake Great news Tennis players, the courts at Willow Lake will be closed from Thursday, July 18 - Sunday, July 21 for resurfacing. Please make other arrangements to play on other courts till the work is complete. Thank you!
Pool Rope Just a few weeks ago, Sweetwater Pools replaced the lifeline rope at Willow Lake Pool. We kindly ask that residents and their children do not hang on the rope at the pools. Thank you for your cooperation and happy swimming!
Rose Hill Movie Goers The movie for Tuesday, July 16 is "Yesterday" PG-13 . Star actors include Himesh Patel (Jack), Lily James (Ellie) and Kate McKinnon (an agent). Jack is a struggling singer/song writer in England. After a freak bus accident during a global blackout, Jack wakes up and discovers that the Beatles have never existed. He begins to perform their songs and becomes a great success. The music is fun. You find yourself trying to remember the words to all of the songs that he is singing. Bluffton Cinemark Theater on Buckwalter at 1:40 and 4:20 are the afternoon times.
Next Week at Oak Terrace Keith Klaiber,Rose Hill's own singer/acoustic guitarist, will be performing at Oak Terrace on Wednesday 7/24/19 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Order from the appetizer or lunch menus! Come sing-along to your favorite classic tunes of the 60's, 70's and more. Keith will be singing each month at Oak Terrace on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 5:00 - 8:00 so mark your calendars!
The Rose Hill Welcoming Committee consist of a group of Rose Hill Ambassadors that help the POA welcome new owners to the neighborhood. We have a new Welcoming Committee Chair, Amanda Hamilton. Amanda has volunteered to takeover as the committee chair and is looking forward to meeting the new homeowners. Welcome aboard Amanda! The committee consist of 6 Ambassadors who help new residents feel at home in Rose Hill. Rose Hill Author Series: Rebecca Dwight Bruff and John Warley The Rose Hill Author Series is a new partnership between the Pat Conroy Literary Center, the Rose Hill Readers Book Club, and Oak Terrace at Rose Hill to highlight the exceptional stories of Lowcountry authors in engaging lunchtime discussions. The inaugural Rose Hill Author Series lunch will be held on Tuesday, September 24, beginning at noon and will feature a conversation between historical novelists Rebecca Dwight Bruff, author of Trouble the Water, and John Warley, author of The Home Guard. Rose Hill residents received first dibs to sign up for this event before it’s public announcement today. If you have not yet bought your tickets, do so before they run out! The menu will be Chicken Piccata with new potatoes, vegetables and a brownie. Meal is included in the price of the ticket.
