Register today for the author luncheon ($25) that features Bernie Schein, who will give insight into his lifelong friendship with Pat Conroy from his new book, Pat Conroy: My Lifelong Friendship. His memoir is frank, humorous, touching, and reveals a friendship that endured because of the love of two friends for each other. As you read their story, you will agree with Bernie, who says in his book, “If you want to know an author, . . . ., know his work. That’s where you’re most likely to find him. Very simply, that’s where he’s looking for himself.” And so it is, in this memoir Bernie reveals so much about himself and his relationship with his best friend that it will make you feel close to them both. The event begins with lunch at noon, with a seasonal menu of turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, apple crisp, and soft drinks; features author Bernie Schein; and concludes with a book signing. To register for this event, which is a partnership between The Rose Hill Readers, the Pat Conroy Literary Center, and Oak Terrace at Rose Hill, go to https://rosehillauthorseries2.bpt.me
