Decals will expire on October 31st. Be sure to stop by the POA Office with your vehicle registration, driver’s license and vehicle insurance so you can get your 2020 residential decal! If you can not make it by the POA Office during regular business hours, you are welcome to email your vehicle registration and vehicle insurance to joni@rosehillpoa.com and she will process your paperwork and leave your decals at the Security Gate (of your choosing) for you to pick up at your convenience.

A special election will be held November 9th at Oak Terrace - 9AM. The Board vacancy is for Jeff Spencer’s remaining term of 18 months. Keep an eye open the ballots will be mailed this week. Ed Varcho, Jay Parks & Sandy DiSanto will be counting ballots for the special election. Please make sure to complete and return your ballot to the POA office!

Mark your calendars for the following events which will be sponsored by Caring Neighbors and taking place at Rose Hill: October 9 – Diesha Hicks from Lowcountry Area Agency on Aging, will be at Colleton Point at 9:00 am on Wednesday, October 9. She will be giving a general overview of Medicare with a Q&A following. October 10 – Joel Iacopelli, Capstone Insurance, is an agent for United Healthcare and Blue Cross/BlueShield. He will explain the Medicare Advantage and Supplemental programs for 2020 at Colleton Point at 9:00 am. If there’s enough interest, he will also hold an afternoon meeting. Both of these sessions are limited to 20 people. To register, email caringneighbors@hotmail.com. If you are reserving for the Medicare 2020 meeting on 10/10, please indicate if you are available for the morning or afternoon session. October 28 – ONE BLOOD will be having a Blood Drive in the Clubhouse parking lot for the morning. All blood types are needed as the supply is very low. Please consider donating to this worthy cause.

The Ladies of the Court held their first lunch gathering Sept. 27th at Oak Terrace. The group is made up of all ladies who live on Greenwood Court. The neighbors, ranging from one month to 29 years, enjoyed fun conversations, good food, and the fun of getting better acquainted. They look forward to meeting once a month.

Professional Painters of Hilton Head Island will be painting the barn starting October 10th weather permitting. The painting will be completed prior to the Polo match!

Colleton Point is the ideal spot for this great activity that sharpens your mind. Every Thursday at 12:15 residents gather for 3 rounds of canasta. This is not your everyday canasta. This is SAMBA canasta, devised in stages from the original game. There is always a resource with Theresa Petruzzi. If you learn from the best, you are sure to win. Theresa utilizes Colleton Point also on Wednesdays with arts and crafts, when the ladies are available to meet. Monday Night is game night where residents bring any type of card or board game to engage with others. The purpose is to meet and greet. So, come join us for the battle of wits or just plain fun.
