THE Rushden Unit of the Maritime Volunteer Service has secured funding of £3,583 for flood and water rescue equipment. It won the money through its successful bid to the Department for Transport’s Inshore and Inland Rescue Boat Grant Scheme for 2015/16. The Rushden Unit of the Maritime Volunteer Service is a dedicated volunteer member group of Northamptonshire’s Emergency Response Corps (NERC). As specialists in flood and water rescue, members of the Rushden Unit are trained to support the professional Emergency Services in times of community need. To enhance its capability the unit successfully secured funding provided by the Department for Transport in order to purchase vital equipment. In addition to its existing scale of water rescue equipment and boats the Rushden Unit is now the proud owner of a three metre inflatable rescue boat, a specialist three metre rescue raft, an inflat-
able 10m water rescue tube, replacement VHF radios and GPS satellite navigation aids. A spokesman said: “For those of you who have been out-andabout along the embankment of the River Nene near to Wellingborough and Thrapston on early Sunday mornings you may have seen a strange group of orange-suited people. “They were either in small boats or up to their necks in the river being dragged out on the end of expertly thrown ropes. “Now you know what we were doing!” Anyone interested in the activities of the Rushden Unit of the Maritime Volunteer Service and who would like to know more can meet us on Wednesday evening from 7pm to 9pm at the Nene Valley Community Volunteers Centre, just off the High Street in Rushden. The group is always open to new members who can help and have an interest in community work.

Scores are on the doors
JUNE 2016 REPORTER #1— 7
A MOVE to raise food hygiene standards and protect public health is being strongly supported by East Northamptonshire Council. Under the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, council environmental health teams regularly inspect and score food outlets from zero to five based on factors such as kitchen cleanliness, cooking methods and food safety management. However, in England, businesses do not have to display the ‘Scores on the Doors’ rating they have been awarded. Council leader Steven North, said: “450 of our food businesses have achieved the top 5 star rating and just over 100 have a rating of 4 stars.” “We know that by displaying their scores on their doors, these businesses enjoy an increase in trade as customers are confident they are receiving a service of the highest possible standard. “Compulsory display will mean that all businesses have to display this information.” For more information visit visit www.food.gov.

Rupert steps into chairman role in council shake-up… EAST NORTHANTS COUNCIL NEWS
EASTNorthamptonshire Council has welcomed a new chairman for the next Civic Year. Councillor Rupert Reichhold, a district councillor for Oundle, took over from outgoing chairman, Cllr Marika Hillson, at the Annual Meeting of the Council for 2016/17. Cllr Reichhold has lived in Oundle since 1998 and has been a
district councillor for 17 years. For 12 years he also served as a Northamptonshire County Councillor. He is looking forward to representing the district and the work of the council at many events over the next 12 months. His consort is Nicolette Reichhold, his wife. District councillor for Rushden Pemberton Ward, Cllr Colin
Wright, was named as ViceChairman for this year. Cllr Reichhold said: “I would like to thank my colleagues for electing me as chairman for the forthcoming year, “I promise to do my best for our district. “I pay tribute to Cllr Hillson for her outstanding work as our chairman and I am looking forward to
working with our new Vice Chairman, Cllr Wright.” Events already planned for the year include a civic church service in Oundle, a fish and chip supper and a civic dinner to raise money for the Chairman’s charities – The National Autistic Society, The Royal Anglian Regiment Benevolent Charity and The Gurkha Welfare Trust.
STEVEN North has been re-elected un-opposed as Leader of East Northamptonshire Council. He is also leader of the ruling Conservative group and a member for Rushden Sartoris ward. Councillor Glenn Harwood MBE was re-elected as deputy leader and pledged his support to Councillor North, to the council and to the district. At the meeting, Councillor North said: “It is a real privilege to serve and lead this council. “At ENC we have always been
an efficient council, being innovative in what we do, and this will continue. “Local government is in a period of transformation. The way it is financed is changing, and we have to adapt to that change. Following the financial settlement in the autumn and more recently the spending review, we have seen our grants reduced and opportunities to raise income limited. “Despite this, we are in a reasonably sound position, and have still managed to use part of the
New Homes Bonus as intended, that is rewarding areas that have received growth. By the end of this financial year, we will have put nearly a million pounds back into the community with the Community Facilities Fund and the Member Empowerment Fund. Supporting our communities in this way is very important. “These are exciting times for East Northamptonshire with the building of Rushden Lakes, the development of Rushden East, supporting the new Garden
Village at Deenethorpe, putting in place a new district plan, championing Neighbourhood plans and overseeing a new leisure contract for the district that will see the development of more outreach work enabling people to participate in healthier and more active lifestyles.” Acknowledging the support and confidence of those around him, he said: “None of this can be achieved without the hard work and dedication from staff and members, so thank you all.”
…while Steven is re-elected once again as council leader

JUNE 2016 REPORTER #1— 11
RESIDENTS will have the chance to step back over more than 100 years to discover what it was like to live in Rushden in the Victorian era, the traders, the shops, the people and even the smells!
Rushden Transport Museum and Railway, Rushden Museum and the Trading Places heritage project have teamed up to celebrate the hidden past of Rushden High Street with crime walks, a photographic exhibition and exciting hands-on children’s activities. On Saturday, June 25, between 11am and 4pm, drop by the station and watch the blacksmith working on his forge creating metal works of art and have a free ride on the Blue Circle locomotive steam train. Enjoy tasty Victorian refreshments in the authentic railway station and experience just what it was like to catch a train in the 1900s. Meanwhile, down the High Street at Rushden Museum, children can make a traditional peg doll and dress up to take a Victorian selfie! They can even have a go at the children’s chores of that era, such as polishing the brass and emptying the chamber pot. There will also be a ‘Looking into The Past’ photographic exhibition celebrating the past
and present of the town’s High Street. You can liven up your walk between the Museum and the Station by becoming a detective with the Rushden High Street Quiz. Identify the shop, find the clue in the window and find out what the shop was in 1901. From June 18, people can pick up a free copy of the quiz from the Museum, the Station, Mrs B’s, Osbornes’ or the library. They should take their completed quiz to Rushden Museum or the Station on June 25. And for the slightly darker side of Victorian Rushden, join Jack the Ripper expert and Lecturer in the History of Crime at Northampton University, Dr Drew Gray. Drew will be leading two evening walks exploring Rushden’s past through its criminal activity, the first taking place on Thursday, June 23, then repeated on June 30, at 7pm. Places are limited, so book in advance on 01933 625527.
This event has been made possible through funding from the Heritage Lottery, which is supporting the Rockingham Forest Trust’s “Trading Places” project to celebrate the traditional skills of the Nene Valley. Thanks are also due to the enthusiastic and dedicated people who work voluntarily at the Rushden Transport Museum.

IN MY OPINION by Ander Mercer
Young dancers make their way to national finals after wowing the judges
THESE youngsters wowed the judges and now have the chance to represent their country. Reader Sarah Rooksby sent this picture in of her daughter Leah-Jayne and her fellow dance champions. The girls from Frenzy, made of young dancers from around the Rushden area, took part in a dance competition at Harvey Haddon Sports Village, near Nottingham. They now have the chance to take part in world championship events later this year. Their dance tutor Hannah Wingfield was thrilled with their success. She said: “The girls worked so incredibly hard in the lead up to the competition and thankfully it paid off. I know the girls are over the moon with the outcome. “They are so excited to have the opportunity to represent their country and compete at the world championships in August. “As their coach and teacher I couldn’t be prouder of them. “They are all such polite, hard working and talented individuals and are an absolute pleasure to teach. “All I can say is, watch this space.”
FLYING a plane is hard. Flying a fighter plane is very hard. Leading a flight of fighter planes is extremely hard. For that reason, young fighter pilots are told not to distract the flight leader. The only time you should call him is if he’s on fire. Of course, it never happens to us groundhogs. Returning from France, we’d driven nearly 400 miles. Ever since getting off the ferry, the car had been complaining, like it was unhappy driving on the left again, or seasick from the Channel crossing. By the time we reached Northamptonshire, the top speed had dropped below 50, and it was getting increasingly grumpy whenever we climbed a hill. So, when we passed Wellingborough on the A45, we were wheezing along at 30, with the traffic scorching past us at 70. Just as we reached the Tesco turn, someone
swerved across us, forcing us into an emergency stop. The driver got out of his car and ran towards us. We fully expected him to rant: “Get that heap of junk off the road!” Instead, he screamed, “You’re on fire!” Sadly, it wasn’t praise… Like a jet fighter, we had an afterburner and flaming trail behind us. We were doing a very good impression of a Eurotrash version of the BatMobile. After a few minutes, the fire was out, leaving just smoke and a bad smell. The Good Samaritan drove off, pleased as Punch, because he’d finally managed to use his treasured fire extinguisher for real. The next day, a mechanic inspected the car, and could find nothing wrong with it. “You’re sure that THIS car was on fire?” To prove his point, he started the car and took it for a drive – it worked perfectly! one tough old bird! They don’t make cars like that anymore!

Probably a good idea
YOUR LETTERS I REALLY enjoyed Graham Chilton’s article in last month’s Reporter. It’s not just your brain that is being messed up. The common market was probably a good idea in the beginning, but now it has turned into a huge group of separate countries being ruled by just two. My thoughts are that we fought two world wars, won both, but now we are being told by Germany (beaten twice), France (saved twice) what we can and can’t do, eat, think and feel. Mrs Merkel has done what Hitler failed to do, without firing a shot. Here’s hoping something will sorted out for the better. Thank you for your words. Eileen Maddison, Rushden

Litter problems make me so angry TEL: 07749 699711 or 07724 905406
I AM writing in response to the letter by a ‘concerned Rushden resident’ with regard to litter on our highways. I know exactly how you feel! Over the winter I have watched the litter problem get worse on the A45 from Rushden to Northampton. It made me so angry I decided to write to the Secretary of State for the Environment. Eventually I received a letter stating all the Departments responsible for clearing litter from our roadsides. Main stretches of the U.K, are covered by the Highways Agency, The A45 and A14 are the responsibility of local District Councils. Are our local authorities not aware how dreadful the roadsides are?
Why is it not tackled in the winter when you can see it? Thank goodness the grass is growing covering up some of the mess but it is STILL THERE! THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED. This is not a new problem, it has been going on for years. It is quite apparent they are not up to the task. Perhaps if they were fined it would make a difference. What will happen when ‘Lakeside’ is finally completed. Hopefully the litter will be cleared and visitors will say ‘Northamptonshire is a lovely county. New shopping complex offers a night at the ‘flicks’
IN MY OPINION
by Ander Mercer
EVER since the Rushden Lakes scheme was first suggested, local residents have been asking for a cinema on the site. The first plans that the developer (LxB) produced were for a mixture of retail, leisure and wildlife reserve, but with no cinema. Those plans were opposed by the neighbouring boroughs (not Wellingborough) and the companies running their town centres. After a very long battle and a public enquiry (which cost about £1million), the plans were finally approved. Work started upon those plans late last year, and today the diggers are hard at work on-site. However, LxB hadn’t forgotten the original requests for a cinema and last Autumn, they went back to East Northamptonshire Council with a new scheme. It proposed not one cinema, but 12! The scheme also included a bowling alley and eight lakeside restaurants, bringing the total at the site to 17. As before, there were objections from the owners or operators of some neighbouring towns (again not Wellingborough). In April, the plans came before ENC’s Planning Management Committee. The
councillors carefully considered each objection and dismissed it. For example, Bedford objected on the grounds that it would compete with a new Cineworld being built there. However, Cineworld will also operate the
cinemas at Rushden Lakes. If Cineworld are happy to run both multiplexes, there cannot be much overlap can there? At the end of the debate, the committee voted unanimously to approve the Rushden Lakes cinema complex.

Cadets have a wonderful day Twinning
NEWS IN BRIEF
visit plans
THE Twinning Association in Higham Ferrers promotes friendship between the people of the local area and those living in and around Hachenburg, a town near Cologne in Germany. Visits between the two communities have been taking place for 25 years, and many personal and family friendships have been forged during that time. The twinning group is now preparing for its latest visit to Germany from August 18 to 22 this year. They travel by coach and ferry to Hachenburg, stay with local families and usually have a day trip and barbecue with our hosts. And all for £130 (£75 for children). Anyone who would like to know more about the Association or are interested in visiting Hachenburg, contact the secretary, Kay Gillespie, on 01933 624776. ––––––––––––––
RANGER Cadets and leaders from Irthlingborough had a great day at Irchester Country Park when they took part in a navigation exercise. Cadets and leaders walked the Ironstone Trail using compasses and maps and afterwards explored the woods and visited the dinosaur
play area. One of the group leaders Eileen Mander said: “This is the first trip we have arranged since the unit’s formation last October and the day went well and we are now looking forward to a return visit in June. We are proud of our Cadets as they are new to navigation.”

Scouts inspired by charity visit launch fundraising push for disaster areas
AFTER a visit from disaster relief charity ‘Shelterbox’ during a weekly meet of the 1st Higham Ferrers Scout group, the Scouts and Explorers were inspired to raise funds for the cause. One aspect of aid that Shelterbox provides are aid boxes containing items required by those who have suffered disaster, such as relief tents, cooking items, mosquito nets and water purification tablets. Each box costs £500 and the Scouts aim was to raise enough funds to purchase two of these. So, last month, a group of Scouts and Explorers from 1st Higham Ferrers Scout group raised sponsorship to sleep without shelter in the grounds of Chichele Gardens “Award Winning based in Higham Ferrers. THE annual year six inter schools quiz recently took place at Park Road Baptist Church. This was the eighth year for this event which is now established as a firm favourite in the Youth Services programme for the Club. Schools taking part this year were the five junior/primary schools in Rushden – Alfred Street Junior Denfield Park Primary Risdene Academy,South End Junior and Whitefriars Junior A good number of parents and teachers were in attendance to support the competing teams, Which were made up of four students from Year 6 from each school. Questions and answers were set and adjudicated by Lee Towers, Assistant Principal from Rushden Academy, and Quiz Master for the evening was the ever popular Mike Neville. The clear cut winners were Alfred Street with an amazing score of 40 points, and they now join Whitefriars in having been winners for three years. Organisers also said mention must also be made of the generous sponsorship of the evening by Abbotts Funeral Directors, who were represented during the evening by Pat Abbott, and Michael Hart Abbott. Their continued support and encouragement is most gratefully acknowledged. Meanwhile, Sallie and Mike Neville attended the Rotary Musician District Final at the end of March. They reported that the senior section produced some brilliant musicians ‘worthy of professional quality!’ The three Rushden entries did very well and were congratulated for reaching the final stage. Whitefriars Junior Samba Band performed very well looking good in their school uniforms but were beaten by Somersham School Band. Dana Millington again gave a top performance on the Clarinet but was beaten by a trombone player and a saxophone performance who as the other finalists put in absolutely fantastic performances according to Mike. However Ellie McAspurn, in the 11 to 13 years vocal section, was a splendid winner beating two very competent fellow finalists.

Rushden B were looking for a result against Chess Mates A after a difficult season in the top division. They had a poor start with losses on boards four and five. Phil Campbell on board 3 built a strong opening position against Northampton’s Dave Curran. He was finally rewarded going a Bishop ahead and with his Queen and Bishop working as a team Curran threw in the towel. Bob Ellam’s and Jefta Jawi’s game ended in a draw. A win on board one was needed to avoid defeat and this was duly delivered when Richard Ellis managed to get a pawn advantage making promotion inevitable. This month I want to introduce you to some special perennial and bedding plants that are great additions to any garden. If your patio is in full sun for most of the day Agryanthemum Everest, a pure white Marguerite Daisy with a bright yellow centre, is any easy plant to grow. The foliage is silvery and so the plant does not lose water at the same rate as plants with green foliage. Therefore less watering is required. Begonia Glowing Embers with bright orange flowers and Dark Elegance with deep red flowers are also plants resistant to certain dry conditions so useful if you are only able to water at irregular intervals. Dahlia Goldalia Scarlet, a zany colorette dahlia, has bright scarlet petals with a striking buttercup yellow inner ring while Dahlia Amazone is pale pink with a deep maroon centre. Both will flower in pots or a border until the autumn frosts providing the flowers are removed as they fade. Zinnia Profusion Fire are also tolerant to drought with bright orange petals and a dark centre and look fabulous when planted near Zinnia Profusion Apricot in any sunny border. A more discreet colour range is found in Antirrhinum Peachy, Yellow Maroon and Peachy Bronze. They produce neat growing compact plants excellent in tubs with flowers the colour of faded old lace. Choice varieties of Petunia are Fanfare Crème de Casis, pink with a deep maroon centre, Crazytunia Mandeville, cerise and white striped, Happy Copper, a very unusual soft shade of bronzy salmon pink and Crazytunia Black Mamba, the deepest velvety purple black I have seen in flowers. Paeonies make great border plants. Consider carefully where you are planting them as they quickly grow to fairly large plants which do not like being disturbed. They will reward you with many years of fantastic flowers early each summer. Paeonia Itoh Bartzella has large semi double lemon yellow blooms with a red centre and is fragrant. Paeonia Julia Rose has huge single coral pink flowers with a cream centre and a light fragrance. Plant with plenty of rich peaty compost using Rootgrow for quick establishment. Hollyhocks are traditional cottage garden plants. The new introduction called the Halo Series has a paint box range of soft colours. Halo Cerise is bright pink with a dark maroon centre, Halo Cream is cream with a carmine red centre, Halo Blush is palest pink with deep pink markings. Delphiniums and Lupins are must plants for all summer flowering herbaceous borders. The upright

quickly to be a trailing plant so give some support and it will reward you with pale lemon five petal flowers with a dark chocolate centres all summer.

stately flower spikes give the border structure and form and are very bee friendly. Delphinium Excalibur Series are one metre tall with sturdy strong stems and a colour range of white, pink, pale blue and dark blue. Delphinium Magic Fountains are a more compact species with strong colours, dark blue with a black centre, pale blue with a white centre, deep rose with a white centre and pure white. The Gallery Series of Lupin are recommended. They are compact and sturdy in a colour range of white, pink, red, blue and yellow. Use a good rich peaty compost when planting Delphiniums and Lupins who will respond with many gorgeous blooms. Remove the faded flowers and feed with chicken manure and keep well watered for a second flowering in autumn. When planting hanging baskets, chimney pots or tubs on pedestals it is difficult to find trailing plants with yellow flowers of foliage. Helichrysum Golden Sunset has lovely soft pale yellow felty foliage and spills nicely over the side of any container. Bidens Golden Eye is a neat compact wandering plant that does not smother everything else in the same pot and has lemon yellow fresh daisy flowers all summer. Thunbergia Lemon Star is a useful summer climbing plant to train over an obelisk in a tub. It grows too

Photographs from the Eric Fowell collection Florence Simpson, 22 High Street South c.1960 In a trade directory she advertised ladies’ blouses, jumpers and lingerie and was an agent for ABDO Corsets Company. The shop was established in 1922 by taking over her father’s shop. He owned the Confectionery and Tea Rooms for many years. This postcard shows the shop after the alterations carried out in the late 1940s. In 1909 Thomas Brown owned the shop as a wine and spirit merchant and general stores. The establishment formerly belonged to Robert Octavious Butcher, grocer and wine merchant, who also owned a tile and brickmakers yard in Higham Road. He is recorded in the 1861 Post Office Directory. An extract from The Rushden Argus, February 13th, 1891, reads: “Re Lowery and Williamson: Tenders are invited for stock in trade at a Rushden brickyard called ‘Butchers’. A considerable sum of money has been spent on the kilns and sheds of recent years, including a sand and gravel pit, all at Higham Road where good trade has been done. out & about Castaway on Soul! by Jem Brittin
Friday 24th June is the date for the annual ‘Castaways Reunion Soul Night’ which is held at The Soul Junction, Stanwick Hotel. People from both sides of the Bedfordshire/Northants border will remember the legendary Soul Nights held at the original Castaways Club, on the A6 (Souldrop turn) South of Rushden back in the 70s & 80s. Here’s your chance to relive those memories and meet up with some faces from the past. Louise Austin from Groove on Promotions the co promoters of the reunion night explained that this will be the third running of the event. Originally it was meant to be just a one off night; however the first one proved so popular it quickly sold out, leaving some people disappointed. A second one was held and that sold out as well! So we took the decision to make this a yearly fixture on the calendar now. Some of the original DJ’s that performed at The Castaways will be behind the ‘Wheels of Steel’ on the night, including ‘Brother’ Louie Martin & Rob James along with supporting DJ’s playing Soul, Funk & Weekender Anthems from the period. As mentioned they are great nights, many past attendees have commented that they met up with people they hadn’t seen in years! The ‘Soul Junction’ Stanwick Hotel’ is the perfect venue for the event, it’s even the same colour as the original Castaways building (white) It’s held in the fantastic ‘Reflections’ function room, which has a superb wooden dance floor and French doors that lead directly onto a large patio area with seating and tables. So if the summer behaves itself and you have worked up a sweat on the dance floor, you can chill out and cool down outside. Tickets are on sale and as we go to press are still available at £8 each but don’t leave it too late folks! You can purchase tickets direct online visit: www.grooveonpromotions. co.uk or call/text hotline numbers 07905 028 003 or 07976 324 378. To catch up on all the pre event chat and to see who is going visit the Groove On Facebook page. Kettering Festival Weekend! Staying on the ‘Soul Side’ I have been invited along by ‘Yards Bar’ just off Market Street Kettering NN16 0DL on Friday 1st of July to hold a Northern Soul & Motown Night! This will be one of the launch events for The Kettering Festival Weekend which sees many venues taking part holding all types of different events
over the weekend 1st to 3rd July. Exact details for the Yards Bar event are still being finalised as we go to press, however the theme is: paying homage to the part Kettering and Northants have played in championing the Mod & Soul Scene
in general over many years. The venue will be open all day with memorabilia displays and scooters on display. One of the founding fathers of the Kettering and wider UK Soul Scene Glenn Bellamy will be joining me in the evening to spin a few tunes.
Glenn started his DJ, record collecting and sales career in Kettering back in 1963, so I am really looking forward to meeting up with him again and can’t think of anyone more deserving to be part of this

This will be the second year of The Kett Fest, last years was a fabulous weekend so if you can find the time pop over and take a look! maddie is all about The 80s Babe! Stunning vocalist maddie Cole makes a return to The Stanwick Hotel NN9 6Qy on Friday 17th June! Maddie’s first visit in February of this year featured her ‘All about the babes’ Modern Divas tribute show which sold out! For those that witnessed her breathtaking cover of ‘Adele’s ‘recent hit ‘Hello’ it’s no surprise: that alone was worth the entry fee! During subsequent conversations with events promoters for The Hotel, it transpired that Maddie also does a fabulous 80s tribute act. Minds started working overtime as unbeknown to Maddie the hotel was planning for this year a 5th anniversary special of their very popular ‘Now that’s what I call an 80s Night’ event. These nights are held twice a year and are always very busy with people really entering into the spirit of the decade by donning their 80s attire, so always plenty of Madonna and Adam Ant lookalikes on view and having fun! You can see where this is going folks I suppose, well Maddie has a very busy tour schedule in and around the London area this year, so it was no surprise that she was booked out on the night planned. However a late cancellation meant the promoters at The Stanwick Hotel got the call from her agent and hey presto the event came together.

Dizzee Rascal confirmed Bedford Park Friday 5th August
Bedford Park Concerts are proud to announce that MC, producer and rapper Dizzee Rascal has been confirmed as the headline act for their Friday night concert, which will take place on the 5th August in Bedford Park. Dizzee Rascal has thrived within the UK garage scene since the early 2000’s, spanning genres from hip-hop and grime to dance and bassline. Having collaborated with the likes of Calvin Harris, Arctic Monkeys and Florence & the Machine, Dizzee has evolved from his grime and garage roots into the mainstream scene, which has found him featured on the bill for festivals like Glastonbury and Radio 1 Big Weekend numerous times. His huge hits include ‘I Luv U’ and Fix Up Look Sharp, which went straight into the UK top 20 single charts. As well as his number 1 hit ‘Dance Wiv Me’ featuring Calvin Harris. dance scene with this collaboration. Other hits include further number one hits ‘Holiday’ and ‘Dirtee Disco’ and ‘Bonkers’, which he sang at the opening ceremony for the 2012 Olympics to an estimated worldwide audience of nine hundred million! Supporting Dizzee will be West London’s finest pirate radio station Kurupt FM. Starting out on Youtube with their own DIY webisodes, which got the attention of Roughcut, the producers of The Office. Shortly after a pilot was picked by BBC3, this received a massive response and Kurupt FM had instantly gained a cult following. Having sold out Village Underground in London with their “Champagne Steam Rooms” night in May and playing the likes of Bestival, Creamfields, Outlook, NASS, Boomtown, Kendal Calling and MADE festival over the summer. With their second series of People Just Do Nothing just launching on BBC3 and promotion on BBC1 and BBC2, the Kurupt FM takeover continues and no one is safe! To add to this exciting line up will be English grime MC and rapper Wiley, who is often referred to as the ‘Godfather of Grime’. Wiley is
