Perché MULTI Il progetto Free Arts è nato quasi per gioco ad aprile 2013, timidamente ha iniziato a farsi conoscere nel difficile mondo dell’arte contemporanea, che non pensavamo fosse così ricettivo. Dopo aver riscontrato che la pagina Facebook aveva un discreto seguito di fedeli utenti, ci è parso naturale creare un sito web dove pubblicare gli artisti secondo noi più interessanti. Solo così abbiamo percepito che tanti di loro non avevano un supporto promozionale adatto a presentarsi alle gallerie ed allora è stato logico creare MONO una sorta di catalogo personalizzato low cost e di realizzare una Brochure con tutta una serie di servizi di supporto per artisti emergenti. Adesso è con grande soddisfazione che presentiamo MULTI il primo contenitore di 12 artisti che hanno pubblicato le loro opere sulle pagine del sito di Free Arts. Stili eterogenei, tecniche diversissime ma in comune una grandissima passione per l’arte e una creatività coinvolgente. Grazie a tutti quelli che ci supportano e collaborano con noi in modo speciale a Kate S. la quale non ci fa mai mancare un prezioso sostegno del suo importantissimo blog artistico e ci stimola a proseguire la nostra mission. Buona visione!
Why MULTI The Free Arts project was born almost a game in April 2013, tentatively began to become known in the difficult world of contemporary art, which we didn't think was so receptive. Having found that the Facebook page had a following of loyal users, it seemed natural to create a website where artists we publish most interesting. Only thus we felt that many of them had no promotional support suitable for presenting to the galleries and then it was logical to create a MONO sort of low cost custom catalog and create a Brochure with a range of support services for emerging artists. Now it is with great satisfaction that we present the first MULTI container of 12 artists who have published their work on the pages of Free Arts site. Heterogeneous styles, different techniques but in common a passion for art and creativity. Thanks to all those who support us and cooperate with us in a special way to Kate S. makes us not ever miss a valuable support of its important artistic and blog encourages us to continue our mission. Il mondo dell’arte sta vivendo un momento di grandi trasformazioni. Una nuova era è iniziata per gli artisti, che ora hanno a disposizione strumenti che velocemente possono diffondere le loro opere e le loro attività artistiche, intercettando un pubblico sempre più vasto di collezionisti, galleristi e semplici appassionati. Free Arts è uno di questi strumenti e permette di conoscere artisti emergenti e di ammirare le loro opere in maniera semplice e senza mediazioni. Tutti gli artisti che fanno parte di Free Arts hanno la possibilità di presentarsi al grande pubblico e di essere contattati nei loro profili personali presenti in Internet attraverso una serie di links che facilitano la comunicazione personale tra artista e collezionista o più in generale con il pubblico amante dell’arte. La caratteristica di Free Arts è quella di essere un progetto nato nel luogo attualmente più frequentato del mondo - Facebook - e di aver proseguito il suo percorso con un proprio sito web. Quindi, per sua natura, è un luogo senza confini e dove si può avere un’iterazione privata con l’opera d’arte e allo stesso tempo si può essere circondati dalla folla e interagire con essa, condividendo emozioni e opinioni. Free Arts è un inizio ovvero un’occasione per ogni artista che voglia farsi conoscere, un punto di riferimento per promuovere il proprio lavoro su internet e per trovare la strada che porta ai grandi galleristi e collezionisti.
The art world is experiencing a time of great change. A new era has begun for the artists, they now have at their disposal instruments which can rapidly disseminate their works and their artistic activities, intercepting an increasingly broad audience of collectors, gallery owners and enthusiasts. Free Arts is one of these tools and learn about emerging artists and admire their works in a simple way and without mediation. All the artists that are part of Free Arts have the opportunity to present itself to the public at large and to be contacted in their personal profiles on the Internet through a series of links that facilitate communication between artist and collector or more generally with the public art lover. Free Arts feature is that it is a project born in the currently most popular site in the world-Facebook-and continued its path with its own website. Therefore, by its very nature, is a place without boundaries and where you can have an iteration with the artwork and at the same time you can be surrounded by the crowd and interact with it, sharing emotions and opinions. Free Arts is a beginning — an opportunity for any artist who wants to be known, a reference point for promoting your work on the internet and to find the road that leads to the great gallery owners and collectors.

Biografia Olandese di Tegelen, spirito ribelle e creativo ha trovato la sua cifra artistica con tecnica del collage, esponendo con grande successo in varie gallerie europee fra cui quella organizzata a Mestre da Vainart a marzo 2014. A prima vista i suoi collages possono sembrare esclusivamente il colorato e concettuale risultato kitsch di un copia e incolla, ma se si va ad approfondire, si nota che quello che sembra un banale risultato cromatico di immagini in realtà nasconde tanti significati. Le sue opere si compongono di frammenti di suoi scatti fotografici, di testi musicali, disegni, adesivi, plastica, carta, tela, stoffa e tutto ciò che lo circonda ogni giorno e che fa parte del suo background artistico e

Born in Tegelen Netherlands, rebellious and creative spirit has found its artistic figure with collage technique, with great success in various European galleries including organized in Mestre from Vainart to March 2014. At first glance his collages can seem colorful and conceptual only result kitsch of a copy and paste, but if you go to investigate, you notice that what seems like a trivial result of color images actually conceals many meanings. Artist from Pesaro (Italy) who is recognized for a undeniable familiarity with art and its expressions. He attended technical studies. He is son of a potter and grandson of Franco Bucci world-renowned ceramist. Lorenzo starts from a few years to feel the need to put in his work everything that in his life he has always been breathing every day. Selftaught, he loves immensely ARTE POVERA, working with a variety of materials: wood, tar, plaster, metals and cement, creating works of great taste and beauty. Among his recent works there are "Ototeman" (60 x 250) and the new series of “Catrami” (works on canvas in various sizes). The first is a installation in reclaimed wood burnt on lead, and it has met a considerable success. The second group
is composed by hard works with tar, combined with a rare color intensity. Laudable and not to be missed in this path are “Le Sfere”, balls of cement in fact, art objects and true furniture components.

Biografia Guy Denning è nato a North Somerset nel 1965, folgorato dall'arte visiva fin dall'infanzia, ha iniziato con la pittura ad olio all'età di undici anni dopo aver ricevuto una serie di vecchi colori da un parente. Fino agli anni ottanta si era ripetutamente soccombente nelle sue applicazioni per studiare pittura a livello di laurea, ma ha continuato dipinto mentre studiava storia dell'arte con la Open University e imparare la tecnica della pittura dai pittori più anziani sapeva nell'ovest dell'Inghilterra. Dal 1992, ha esposto in tutta la Gran Bretagna. Dal 2007 ha inoltre esposto negli Stati Uniti d'America, Germania, Italia e Francia. I suoi dipinti sono state esposte in numerose mostre personali e misti.

Guy Denning was born in North Somerset in 1965. He has been obsessed with visual art since childhood and started painting in oils at the age of eleven after receiving a set of old paints from a relative that had grown bored with them. Through the 1980s he was repeatedly unsuccessful in his applications to study painting at degree level but continued painting whilst studying art history with the Open University and learning painting technique from older painters he knew in the west of England. From 1992, he exhibited across Britain. Since 2007 he has also exhibited in the United States of America, Germany, Italy and France. His paintings have been shown in numerous solo and mixed exhibitions. Notable solo
shows include 'Purgatorio' at Brooklynite Gallery New York, 'Inferno' at MAGI'900 Bologna and 'Behemoth' at St Martin in the Fields London. His work is held in several public collections, including the Politics Department of Bristol University, the Political Science Department at Galway University and the MAGI'900 Museum of Contemporary Art, Bologna. He has also been invited to work on a variety of community urban art projects and has developed a distinctive style that builds images from stencilled text. In 2007 he moved to Finistere in France where he continues to work towards future exhibitions.

Biografia Inizia a sperimentare con la pittura a diciotto/diciannove anni. Fino a quel momento non aveva mai visto opere di arte astratta. Viene folgorato. "Ricordo che camminando per andare a lavorare una mattina e vedere, vidi il dipinto più bello che avessi mai visto. Ero veramente affascinato. Parlava di pittura a me. Davvero, non riuscivo a capire il linguaggio. Ma potevo interagire e rapportarmi ad esso con naturalezza. Questa è la bellezza dell'arte. Al momento ho (innocentemente e forse un poò ingenuo) pensiero che per diventare un artista e creare arte, avrei dovuto acquistare costose tele, pitture professionali arte, pennelli e così via... Un errore che penso facciano il 99% degli artisti. L'arte è 20
Biography semplicemente arte. Non è, e non diventerà più o meno significativa, a causa dei materiali che sono stati utilizzati per crearla. Questo è ovviamente la mia opinione personale sull'arte. La prospettiva è cambiato nel corso degli anni crescendo come artista. Io sono principalmente un artista autodidatta e ringrazio Dio per questo. Sono anche un musicista e amo scrivere poesie, due grandi passioni. Ho esposto le mie opere in molte parti del mondo, Londra, Parigi, New York, Göttingen così come altri paesi conosciuti a livello internazionale. Ovunque, basta una parete, dello spazio e affanculo tutti gli snobismi.
I first began experimenting with painting when i was eighteen or nineteen years old. Up to that point i had never been exposed to abstract art. What triggered it, i'm not absolutely certain. But i remember walking to work one morning and seeing, (what i thought to be at the time) the most beautiful painting i had ever seen. I was truely mesmerized. That painting spoke to me. I couldn't really understand the language. But i could interact and relate to it. It felt pretty natural. No friction at all. That's the beauty of art. At the time i (innocently and perhaps a bit naive) thought that to become an artist and to create art, i would have to buy expensive canvases, professional art paints, brushes and so on...A mistake i think 99%
of the artists out there make. Art is simply art. It is not, and it won't become more or less meaningful, because of the materials it is made of, or were used to create it. This is of course my own personal opinion, and what art means and is to me. The perspective has changed over the years as i grew as an artist. That's the way of things, i believe. You move forward. You evolve. To this day, I am primarily a self-taught artist. Thank God for that. I'm also a musician and love to write poetry. My other two biggest passions. I've exhibit my work in many parts of the world, London, Paris, New York, Göttingen as well as other internationally known countries. I'll indeed exhibit anywhere where there's a wall space and leave all fucking snobbery behind.

Biografia Max Gasparini è nato a Rovato (Bs) nel 1970. Vive e lavora in provincia di Bergamo. Frequenta il liceo artistico, si dedica al restauro di opere d'arte. Autodidatta, dipinge da sempre, senza sentire l'esigenza di esporre. Gli studi sulla pittura classica si riflettono nei suoi soggetti intimisti: ritratti, nature morte, paesaggi; realizzati con tecnica ad olio e tempera all'uovo su tavola . Nel 2007 “incontra” il cartone da imballaggio che lo libera dal cavalletto e dalle tecniche canoniche. Max scopre le grandi pennellate, la liberazione gestuale, le colature e le tecniche più disparate, a volte casuali, arrivando al paradosso di realizzare quadri con lo sverniciatore. Biography precedenti schemi arriva la voglia di esporre. Il viso femminile come “TUTTO”, rappresentazione dell'universo (da Platone) e inteso come figurazione della TERRA GENITRICE è la tematica del lavoro degli ultimi due anni. I colori, così come i bianchi e neri, investono con impeto i numerosi supporti scelti, creando percorsi originali con la materia entro un costante rapporto-guida dell'artista che feconda gli incontri. Scompaiono le tele bianche, lasciando posto a vecchie lamiere arrugginite. Non più mondi sconosciuti ma uno sguardo all'indietro, utilizzando materiali animati da chi ne ha già usufruito. Il vecchio rifiuto e la ruggine di ieri in compenetrazione d'anime con la pittura la sua ideazione.
Max Gasparini was born in Rovato (Brescia), Italy in 1970. He currently lives in the Bergamo Province. Selftaught, he paints since he was really young without feeling the need to show his work. His studies of Classic Painting are reflected in his intimate subjects: portraits, still lives, landscapes realized with oil colors and egg based watercolors on wood. In 2007, on his way to Damascus, he “meets” the packing cardboard which frees him from the use of the easel and the orthodox techniques. Max discovers the big brushes, the action freedom, the color smearing and several other techniques, sometimes by chance, getting to the paradox of realizing his paintings with the paint remover.
With this freedom of technique he now feels the need to show his works. The female face as a whole, representation of the Universe (from Plato) and intended as a figuration of the Mother Earth is the subject of his work of the last 2 years. White paintins disappear, replaced by old rusty metal, yute, used sacks. No more word unknow, but a backward glance, using materials inspired by those who have already benefited. The man old refused and the rust of yesterday: interpenetration of souls with his painting and desing.

Biografia Nobuko Umezaki è nata a Onga-gun, Prefettura di Fukuoka in Giappone ed ora risiede a Toshima (Tokyo), si è laureata al Tokyo Medical and Dental College, ha alle spalle una scuola di odontoiatria ed ha lavorato come dentista per la bellezza di 38 anni, la sua professione non le ha impedito di portare avanti altri interessi, ed infatti, una volta ritiratasi dalla professione medicodentistica ha intrapreso quella che fino a quel momento aveva portato avanti come hobby: la carriera artistica. Nobuko Umezaki was born in Onga-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture in Japan and now resides in Toshima, Tokyo. She graduated at the Tokyo Medical and Dental College, a dental school and she has worked as a dentist for 38 years, her profession has not she prevented to pursue other interests, and in fact, once she retired from the medical and dental profession Nobuko has undertook, what until then had been carrying as a hobby: the artistic career. Nobuko studied under wise and expert Kokichi Umezaki, her husband, to acquire a technique and an incredible flair for material testing. In a short time her works have met the approval of collectors and art dealers, in fact her artistic activity is intense; Nobuko takes part
in exhibitions in national and international competitions, there are numerous solo and group exhibitions where she is among the protagonists.

Biografia Lane è nata a Salonicco in Grecia dove tuttora vive e lavora. Artista autodidatta. Il suo lavoro è una sintesi di pezzi di carta colorata prelevata in special modo da riviste, quotidiani ed ogni tipo di stampato. Riesce a far si che la carta abbia il medesimo effetto delle pennellate ma con un effetto più vivace e vibrante, Di primo acchito tutti quei pezzi di carta possono sembrare irrilevanti ma quando vengono uniti il risultato è sorprendente. “Questa è la parte più impegnativa per me mentre faccio il collage” Lane ha avuto la Sua prima mostra personale nel Novembre 2013 a Salonicco intitolata FOREVER YOUNG, Una incredibilmente significativa collezione di

Dice di se l’autrice “I ritratti son sempre stati la mia materia preferita usando il collage come mediazione, ed ora stò cercando me stessa in qualcosa di nuovo basando le immagini sulla strada e nel vivere quotidiano”. Nel corso del 2014 il suo successo è accresciuto fino ad arrivare a partecipare a mostre in tutta Europa.
I was born in Thessaloniki, Greece where I still live and work. I am one of those "self-taught" artists using collage as a medium. My collage work is a synthesis of colorful and different pieces of paper taken from magazines. Paper works like the most lively brush strokes. At first glance, those pieces might look irrelevant to each other, but when they come together, all those different shapes and patterns compose the final images. This is the most challenging part for me while making collage. I had my first personal exhibition last November in Thessaloniki titled FOREVER YOUNG. It was a portrait collection of famous singers and actors who lived fast and died young. Portraits
have always been my favorite subject but right now I am trying myself in something new and this is collage based on street view images. In 2014 its success is increased up to participate in exhibitions throughout Europe.

Biografia Nasce, una notte d'autunno, nel 1980. Compie studi scientifici non per suo volere poi, quando è abbastanza grande per scegliere, finalmente si iscrive a lettere. Si divide tra l'amore per l'arte e quello per la scrittura in un connubio in cui il comune divisore è lo spazio: i confini di un foglio, o di una tela. Per varcarne i limiti, durante il suo percorso artistico sperimenta diverse tecniche e trova la sua dimensione, infine, a metà strada tra l'informale, l'espressionismo astratto e la pittura materica. Ciò che non è più, o non è ancora, esprimibile a parole assume la connotazione intrinseca che l'arte ha ai suoi occhi: svuotata da qualsiasi residuo valore formale, racchiude ogni significato nel gesto artistico, nell'atto 28

Le ispirazioni che muovono i suoi lavori sono molteplici e variegate: dal rapporto che nasce tra emozione e cromie alla riflessione sul corpo come spazio e strumento d'arte, dall'introspezione di accessi reconditi dell'Io alle visioni astratte e violente di ricordi o interazioni umane. Nel corso degli anni ha partecipato a diverse esposizioni sia personali che collettive e dal 2013 fa parte di AUT (Artisti Uniti Torinesi), collettivo artistico e culturale che riunisce artisti di Torino e provincia. Vive e lavora a Torino, per ora.
Ella Marciello was born during a fall night, in 1980. She completed her advanced scientific studies and when she was ready to choose for herself, she enrolled at the University of Liberal Arts in Turin. She finds a balance between her love of art and writing combining the two with the concept of space: the boundaries of a page or a canvas. To overcome those limits, during her artistic career she has explored different techniques and has eventually found her own artistic dimension halfway between informalism, abstract expressionism and matter painting. What isn’t (or not yet) expressible by words acquires the intrinsic connotation of art as seen in her eyes: deprived of any formal sense it encompasses every
meaning in the artistic gesture, in the creative act itself. She draws inspiration from multiple and various influences: from the relationship between emotions and shades of colour to considering the body as a space and an instrument of art, from selfexamination to the abstract visions of memories or human interactions. During the years she took part in several solo and group exhibitions and she has been joining AUT (Artisti Uniti Torinesi) an artistic association which gathers painters and illustrators since 2013.

Biografia Nata a Varsavia in Polonia, studia industrial Design alla Scuola per le Arti ed il Design di Lodz per poi diplomarsi all'Istituto di Industrial Design di Varsavia. Marzesu, questo è il suo nome d’arte, crea il proprio mondo utilizzando oggetti del vivere quotidiano, praticamente nutre la sua creatività attraverso l’uso di quello che le sta intorno. Fa sue le frasi che in qualche modo la colpiscono, la pubblicità, le pagine dei giornali e delle riviste poi le rielabora mentalmente, il suo linguaggio diventa un gioco fatto di frasi, di parole, le prende, le separa cercando di dare loro un nuovo significato. Biography Marzesu le taglia, le strappa, poi le ricompone usando colle ed intervenendo su di esse con le vernici. Questo è il modo in cui ella crea i suoi collages, il mondo parallelo di Marzena quando assume l’identità di Marzesu il suo alter ego.
Born in Warsaw, Poland, she studied industrial Design at the school for the arts and the Design of Lodz before taking a degree at the Institute of Industrial Design. Marzesu, this is her stage name, create your own world with objects of everyday life, pretty much feeds her creativity through the use of what is around. Does her sentences that somehow the strike, the advertising, the pages of newspapers and magazines then reprocesses mentally, her language becomes a game made of phrases, words, takes they, separates they trying to give them a new meaning. The words and images taken from newspapers are the protagonists of her works, fun, inspiring, Marzesu cuts, tears they, then they
reassembles using glues and intervening on them with your paints. This is how she creates her collages, the parallel world of Marzena when assumes the identity of Marzesu her alter ego.
