But even though you’d need wings to see it all, there are still those moments during those eight days where we all come together in almost perfect unity. Nights in front of Orange Stage where we all sing along to the same song, hearing a new act and knowing they’ve changed your life, or that feeling in your stomach when you see someone walking by you who you’d do everything to see again, or the common memories we leave with, even though we spent the festival eating at different food stalls, saw different bands and partied in different agoras. That’s what ties us all together: the feeling that Roskilde Festival is something we all share, help create and take part in. Roskilde

As you might know, for eight days the festival becomes the fourth biggest city in Denmark, not to mention the biggest temporary city in the world. Like any other densely populated urban area, Roskilde Festival lives and breathes 24 hours a day, never really sleeping, always moving in new directions, lead on by its citizens. Even though many things at Roskilde Festival will be like last year – the stages, the agoras, the lines to the toilets – a lot will have changed as well. Apollo has its own designated zone, Dream City has moved and improved – and some of the music you’ll hear won’t sound like anything you’ve ever heard before. But change at Roskilde Festival is not just whether your camp or favorite food stand has moved to another location. CHANGE is also the name of our focus on democracy, empowerment, citizenship and how your ideas and will to co-create can help make the world a better place. Come down to Dream City and help change not only you, but the festival and the world surrounding you as well. On the following pages, you can read everything you need to know about this year’s festival. The guide you are holding in your hands is produced with the environment in mind. We use ink and glue that will not pose problems during the recycling process. The printing house also complies with demands on minimising waste and pollutants.

One thing that always surprises us when going home from another Roskilde Festival is how little of it we actually got to experience, despite our best efforts to make this the one festival where we wouldn’t miss out on anything. But even though most of us are here for eight days, there’s absolutely no chance you’ll ever see, hear, taste, try or experience everything the festival has to offer. With 195 music acts, more than150 different food stalls, countless events and happenings, not to mention the countless camps, Roskilde Festival is like a huge all-you-can-eat buffet. Only one thing to do – start at the beginning and just eat your way through it.

This year, when we begin, we begin, and that means no more Warm Up. From day one there’ll be music at Apollo Countdown and Pavilion Junior, art happenings, events and loads of other things for you to do from Saturday to Wednesday. As always, when Thursday comes, all the stages will be open.

Good news for fans of electronic music! This year, the Apollo stage gets its very own area. It’s just south of gate 10 where the gravel pit used to be. The area features electronic music all week, first

Our focus on dining experiences is stronger than ever. In Hal B you’ll find a unique space dedicated to eating - and eating like you’ve never eaten before. In Hal B, you’ll find brand new food stalls and food concepts, so don’t miss out. Food events and pop-up restaurants can be found by the judges’ box in Gloria Zone and the stables by 7th street. Just because you prefer to stay in a clean camp, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to party. That’s why we are turning the areas B, E, F, K and M into ‘clean’ areas – without the ‘silent’. If you’re in need of medical assistance at Ros kilde Festival, please use the festival’s own firstaid stations. The emergency room at Roskilde Hospital requires you to contact them in advance on (+45) 7015 0708. In case of accidents or life threatening emergencies, call 112 or use the 112app, which can track your position and make it easier for the ambulance service to find you.

FIRST-AID

First-aid stations can be found at CITYcentre East and West, among other places. They are distinctly marked with a first-aid sign. Additionally a doctor is on duty at the first-aid station at CITYcentre East from Sunday 1 July until Sunday 8 July. The duty doctor’s opening hours are from 09:00 – 22:00.

SAFETY AT ROSKILDE FESTIVAL

The combination of nylon tents and open fire is extremely dangerous, which is why it is important that you do not light a bonfire in your camp – neither during the festival or when you’re leaving. The ban on open fire also includes torches, candles, hurricane lanterns, cooking devices and grills – including disposable grills. At every agora you’ll find a fire ring, a cooking island and a communal grill you can use if you want to grill sausages, make soup or simply heat a meal. Please remember that it is absolutely life threatening to light a gas burner in your tent, likewise it is not allowed to burn your tent, containers or other objects when you leave the festival.

The safety at Roskilde Festival is continually evaluated to remove and reduce risks. We closely follow the national and international development in the safety field, but we still need you to help ensure that you and everybody around you get the best and most safe concert experience possible.

HOW TO ENTER THE PIT

At Orange Stage, there are two entrances to the four sections in front. If you want to go to sections B or D, you have to use the entrance east of the stage. The entrance to sections A and C is west of the stage.

PIT SYSTEMS

The pit systems in front of Orange stage and Arena are safety constructions that make the concert experience safe for those of you who would like to be right in front of the stage. Show up early at the concerts since there is limited amount of space in the pit systems and many who would like to get in there. The pit system entrances are located at both sides of the Orange stage and in the east side of Arena. The green and red lights at the entrance tell you if there is free space available or if it’s full. You can’t stay in the pit between concerts since they have to be cleared and cleaned.

PROTECT YOUR EARS

You won’t get much out of Roskilde Festival if you can’t hear anything. If you experience a ringing or a buzzing in your ears, you have to be careful – it’s a serious danger signal. Therefore – buy a set of earplugs. They can be found in all kiosks, drink stalls, and merchandise stalls and cost 10 kr.

Crowd surfing is strictly forbidden at all stages and can cause immediate expulsion from the festival. —— Form human chains. You create waves in the audience and increase the risk of someone falling or getting crushed. —— Sit on the shoulders of somebody. You risk getting hurt, and it ruins the concert experience for others.

AFRICAN YOUTH PANEL

African Youth Panel is a pan-african youth panel working across the African continent to give the youth of Africa a voice, both in African and international democratic processes. African Youth Panel has members from all African countries and participates in everything from climate and poverty summit meetings to national political events in order to push towards the goal to get more transparent political processes that involve young citizens. This is not a matter of course in many African countries. Eight young members of the steering committee of African Youth Panel will visit the festival this year.

It’s a typical Danish summer – rain, rain and once it clears, even more rain. Just ask Simple Minds who took to the stage to meet a giant audience dancing in the pouring rain. The festival newspaper reported that the Danish band Sneakers probably had some big shoes to fill when they were to take the same stage two hours later.

FROM NEW YORK TO JAPAN

In 1993, Roskilde Festival wasn’t just about grunge rock. The new world music stage showcased artists from Mexico, Japan and Bosnia, among others, while Velvet Underground gave a rather forgettable reunion concert on Orange Stage – at least according to several reviews. Meanwhile especially the girls went crazy for the newly minted winners of the Danish rock music championship, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, who played on Blue Stage.

1993 was the year where, in collaboration with Carlsberg and the local cinema, a cinema tent was erected for the first time. Never before had there been so many people at Roskilde Festival. A whopping 60,000 had forked out the 200 kr. for their wristband, but it was still possible to be totally alone, as 300 festival guests could testament daily. In the Alternative City you had the possibility to try one of the more sombre offerings of the festival: an exact replica of an isolation cell from Horsens State Prison measuring just 6.5 m2.

It’s Game Over to uninspired dance music. Binärpilot has moved to the next level already. Web designer Alexander Støvers dedicates his jams to “robots, geeks, hackers, and nerds of this world,” and the Norwegian’s home-produced tunes sound like a steroid-pumped soundtrack to old, flashing computer games featuring pixelated plumbers saving the world.

Two DJs have made quite an impact on the nightlife of Reykjavik. Captain Fufanu is two young lads playing minimal, deep techno. The duo is working on their debut album right now. If their first tracks are anything to go by, they know about beats for the clubbers as well as colder, more atmospheric electronica.

He has crafted beats for Robyn who considers him a worthy exponent for tomorrow’s electronic music scene. Carli Løf is an overwhelmingly talented DJ and producer. The eclectic Swede has built up a CV bulging with transatlantic impact and VIP collaborators. With a multicoloured clash of bass, rave and hip hop, Carli has been hailed as one of the major shooting stars of 2013.

The nightclubs go Middle Eastern when Compadre set fire to the beat and start a musical and absolutely un-bloody Jihad against the charts. With more than enough attitude to go around, the trio’s grooves have spread across their native Sweden. Their early songs are a bass-heavy, neon yellow mixture of hip hop, Persian folk music and gritty pop that would make M.I.A. blush with pride. BWOY DE BHAJAN

A summery feeling pervades Bwoy De Bhajan’s warm flows of challenging tunes. The promising producer has a penchant for India, and throughout his music the longing for the burning of sun and curry can be felt alongside experimental western electronica influences. Despite the predominantly lazy groove there is also plenty of doodlings, angular beats, broken bass lines and eastern mysticism to lose yourself in.

MC Felix De Luca already made some noise with his ep The Rebirth Of An Artist, an opus one about “weed, women, sneakers and Danish design.” He has previously demonstrated his talent and decidedly non-Danish-sounding flow under the moniker Verb Ink. Felix De Luca thrives in the slipstream of sharp, Danish hip hop making noise in the underground right now.

Anders Rask, frontman and singer of Kadie Elder, has a background in folk music, but Kadie Elder finds the young Dane bursting with electricity and power. This becomes clear on the band’s first single “Widen Rift” which introduces electronic pop brimming with lush production and ingenious detail. Norwegian act Eik specialises in 80s-tinted nostalgia and colour-saturated soundscapes full of disco and synth pop. His drowsy electronica is surrounded by distorted voices with edgy rhythms underneath. Rewolmer is music for both daydreaming and introspective dancing and is crackling, synthetic beauty the way it can only be produced in the laboratory of electronic music.

How trashy and whacked-out can you play electronic rock? Using German favourites like Kraftwerk and Neu! as starting points, K-X-P take the formula even further. The band has given the punk intensity a nudge upwards, but still the German-sounding mechanics rummages persistently underneath the bulldozer beats of the Finns. Their live shows are journeys into a black maelstrom where the music’s malignant and industrial gravity emerges clearly from the whirlpool.

Maybe Oslo is actually the Paris of the North? Ulrik Denizou Lund and Ketil Jansen founded Lemâitre in 2010. Judging from their electro-acoustic instrumentation and warm disco feeling, they aim to become the Norwegian equivalent to French acts such as Justice, Phoenix and Daft Punk.

DJ and producer trio Nonsens has put the sunny Danish island of Bornholm on the neon-blinking map. The guys get the party and your adrenalin going with a poisonous green mix of rave, electro, hip hop and trap. With bad-ass beats, freaky remixes, and pitched brash synths, Nonsens have true sound anarchy and pure party vibes on the agenda.

Sekuoia’s cracking and lingering electronica has already seen him signed with acclaimed Berlin label Project: Mooncircle. Sekuoia combines organic with electronic in a dreamy meltdown. Dry beats, washes of synth and copy/pasted vocals conjure up echoes of both dubstep and atmospheric ambient.

Röyksopp meets Boards of Canada in the soundworld of Norwegian producer Torkelsen. Black metal and technical hardcore are just some of the genres Ajuna use in their attempt to set your ears and nervous system on fire.

Her glamorous pop songs have an urban, gritty attitude, and MØ is able to use her lush voice for rapping as well as singing.

Playing ambitious chamber rock, Navneløs (Da nish for nameless) visit classical music, post rock and jazz without ever quite settling down. At one point the music is minimalistic. Suddenly pom pous. Soon, often breathtakingly beautiful. With cello, piano, steel brass, noisy guitars and the strong vocals of Lin Rosenbeck, Navneløs beautifully evade the tyranny of categories.

Attention has grown around Overthrow, especially after the debut album Adjust to Darkness saw the light of day. DAF, Nitzer Ebb and Einstürzende Neubauten are just a few of the benchmarks that have clearly been set on the trio’s self-titled EP. The 700-year-old music genre Qawwali is best described as Islamic gospel. Meher & Sher Ali belong at the top end of the genre. Departing from the Sufi-tradition, in which music is a tool to approach the divine, the two Pakistanis sing and play their way towards the diverse heart of Allah. The Tabla drum and the harmonium along with the chanting vocals make up some of the characteristics of the music.

With elements of black metal, melodious death metal and grindcore, Anaal Nathrakh blur the edges for where punishment ends and relief begins. It takes a British crew of 10 fully grown men a month to erect and dismantle Arena and Cosmopol. Together, the two tents weigh more than 100 ton. The surface area of the Arena tent is 7,624 m2, which is about 500 m2 more than an average football field. This kind of magic cannot be done just anywhere, so we’re proud to present this at Roskilde.

Dead Rat Orchestra has been one of England’s most weird and innovative bands for a decade. Their colourful playground of instruments typically includes violin, accordion and a variety of guitars. R.A.P. Music, the title of Killer Mike’s most recent and best album is, tellingly enough, short for ’Rebellious African People’s Music’. Working with Brooklyn magus El-P, Killer Mike has sharpened his attack and made a meteor-like hip hop record. His politically charged hip hop universe is shivering with tongue-sharp rap, sparkling attitude and futuristic beats. It’s dirty southern hip hop with a touch of alternative New York. Killer Mike’s status as inspired protest hip hopper in the tradition of Public Enemy has never been as strong as right now.

It is practically impossible to imagine electronic music without Kraftwerk. The seminal band has been the source of inspiration for a wide range of musical genres such as electro, synthpop and techno. Kraftwerk return to Roskilde Festival with their extraordinary 3D show. Roskilde Festival will hand out glasses to the audience, thus ensuring a visual space age feeling worthy of the futureminded computer sounds.

Thrash metal acts as a source of eternal youth for several of the genre’s classic bands. Just look at Kreator, German metal kings who after more than 30 years into their career still bring the stage to boiling point. Since the early 80s, the Germans have been churning out albums that have incorporated their sound into the genre’s DNA. The last one is the Phantom Antichrist from 2012, showing a self-assured band in great shape.

This silver-haired multi-artist has an impressive back catalogue that includes some of country music’s best known songs, and an influence on other musicians that places him among the titans of American music. The Canopy stage was once used by Rolling Stones, but it’s not the only one of the stages to have travelled around in good company. The Cosmopol stage was on tour with R adiohead in 1999-2000, where Sigur Rós by the way were the supporting act.

With a crisp and delicate sound the other half of Quadron, Robin Hannibal, is currently among the strongest and most successful producers and arrangers in Scandinavia. The Danes should have a new album out as you read this and are moving towards a more up-tempo version of the soft tones.

This double band is a fully organic mash-up introducing the song and rap of kuduro on top of guitar tones and drums from bearded indie kids. Throes + The Shine may be one of the first African-sounding dance bands to appear naturally along with American acts like Battles and Health, as they’ve done in the past.

Funeral doom is an extreme metal subgenre, in which everything sounds like it is played in slow motion. The music marches like a funeral procession towards annihilation. The Finnish duo Tyranny is one of the strongest line-ups in the genre. Their extremely prolonged mini-symphonies depict the human race from the icy cold perspective of eternity. Tyranny’s vocals are dragged from the blackest reaches of cosmos, the guitar riffs and minor keyed keyboards drags the music to the limit of imagination without stalling the dark march completely.

Dominick Fernow (aka Prurient) focuses on the war on terror with his Vatican Shadow project. With electronic loops he takes us into a world of Islamic uprising, military build-up and blooddripping partisan warfare. The American’s disturbing electro is dark, dystopian and industrial – yet, the whole universe is recognisable from the news channels’ relentless broadcast.

Like Batman or Banksy, Z lives in the shadows and makes the imagination work overtime. The mysterious individual paved the way for perhaps the first musical genre born exclusively on the Internet: Trap is a wild mix of digital bass, dubstep and house. The cartoon-like music has been raised in the schizophrenic greenhouses of YouTube and Soundcloud.

Since 1963, Marcos Valle has been a pioneer of Brazilian music. He combines Western pop music, soul and jazz with bossa nova and other genres bursting with vitamin D. With his gentle, conversing voice he makes the snug music glow with wellbeing and ease. Underneath, however, there is also a political bite. The cosy music with its breezy flutes, groovy guitars, Hammond organ and jazzy electric piano reveals its claws through the lyrics.

You have probably heard of the imprisoned Russian activists Pussy Riot. Now you can meet the mother group VOINA. We have invited them and given them free reins to do and say what they want where they want. The activists are forceful and full of humour, but focus on important issues such as human rights, political imprisonment, surveillance, and minority rights. Expect activism, demonstration, provocation and performance out of the ordinary, which will certainly overstep your boundaries and challenge your points of view.

Roskilde Festival 2013 already on 16 March when Dream City opened, and since then the participants have developed, built and prepared their camps, projects and activities. Dream City is the area of Roskilde Festival where the audience create and build their camps or projects just the way they want. There are no restrictions to what can be created in Dream City. As long as it is safe, your imagination sets the limit. In May you could build an alternative and sustainable home at The Happy Mountain, where there is room for 100 people. Never before has it been possible for a participant in Roskilde Festival to build a wooden home. Stop by and enjoy the view – The Happy Mountain also doubles as a look-out point over the festival.

The small village of Denmark is awash with great music videos. Aspiring directors from across the count ry have submitted their contributions and from them we have compiled a programme of this year’s most interesting Danish music videos. The result is lots of new music and acute visual narratives that dare to stir things up.

LEVIATHAN

This story about the notorious Nordvest neighbourhood of Copenhagen is a hard-boiled gangster drama. The 18-year-old delinquent Casper, played brilliantly by Gustav Dyekjær Giese, bumps into the biker and pimp Bjørn and through him sees an opportunity to rise through the ranks. But no one can run from their past in Nordvest.

Kidd went from total anonymity to rapper of nationwide fame overnight. Kidd Life follows this journey from day 1, where “Kysset med Jamel” only had 9 hits on YouTube, through several ups and downs, and until today where a hardened Kidd is struggling with the hangover that has come with a year and a half of drinking and partying.

Dive into our very own swimming lake at Relax City. There is free access to the lake for all festival participants, as long as you’re not affected by drugs or alcohol. There will be life guards present. Remember that Mother Nature, unlike your own mother, doesn’t like soap and shampoo, so please only use these in the showers and not in the lake.

RELAX CITY

Relax in the shade in Solkampagnen’s sun lounge and get good advice on how to take care of yourself and your skin in the sun. You can also build your own sun lounge out of old boat sails, take a dip in the swimming lake or swim out to the floating barge where you can experience the wonders of mindfulness. You can join in on the daily yoga sessions and exercises for the body. Or you can simply hang out in the bar Waves on Shore Café where you will find freshly roasted coffee every day.

THE GROUP — IMPROVISERS ASSOCIATED WITH EFTERKLANG

The Group is an experimental platform formed by Efterklang’s Casper Clausen, frequent Efterklang collaborator Peter Broderick, English composer Greg Haines, Francesco Donadello from Italy and Martyn Heyne from Germany. They will perform during the first days of the festival in an informal and completely improvised way inspired by intuition and the surroundings – the music has no style as such and anything can happen.

DJ’S FROM BENELUX ROAM THE SITE

During the early days of the festival, vinyl-digging DJ collective Radio Martiko from Ghent and Amsterdam will be let loose on the site to pop up. The guys blend a brew of soul, jazz, rhythm ‘n’ blues, rock ‘n’ roll, 60s beat, oriental and tropical music.

ROSKILDE RISING and MUSICAL EXPERIENCES IN STREET CITY

Several of the Roskilde Rising bands will roam the festival and do impromptu pop-up concerts, karaoke sessions, DJ sets and other exciting stuff along the way. LOTS OF ORGANIC FOOD AT THE STALLS

The food stalls at Roskilde Festival are obliged to be mindful of the environment. This means that impose upon our stalls that many of their ingredients must be organic. This means all dairy products, coffee, tea, juice, wine, iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, onions, tinned tomatoes, herbs and spices, pasta and rice. Also, all stalls must offer at least one vegetarian dish.

After the festival food stalls can deliver surplus food and ingredients to a catering kitchen in Roskilde. These are then transformed to ready-made meals, which are frozen and delivered to shelters and drop-in centres in the months following the festival. In 2012 we transformed 1.3 tons of surplus food into 3,308 ready-made meals

We also wish to give our artists a great food experience to remember us by. Therefore we serve them a menu based on seasonal Nordic ingredients of which 70% are organic.

Roskilde Festival is the first Danish festival to use the brand new national symbol for organic food. A gold, silver or bronze organic symbol at a stall means that the stall uses more than 90%, 60-90% or 30-60% organic ingredients, respectively. More than 60% of the ingredients are organic in the new Roskilde Food Court in Hal B in Gloria Zone. For many stalls the figure is even higher and you will find many local and seasonal dishes.

Frozen Local Juices says no to synthetic concentrate. In the humble back garden there are a so many possibilities for making delicious juices. The slush ice machine is ready so look forward to a thirst-quenching experience full of flavour.

Danish summer strawberries, fresh fish, mussels, hearty vegetables and tender lettuce. Organic eggs, chickpeas, big fat bunches of mint and fresh feta cheese. With ingredients as gorgeous as these, cooking your own food has never been easier and more wonderful. If you have never carved a mackerel or heard about kohlrabi, then the FoodJam kitchen is the place for you. We have plenty of chefs and culinary fireballs to help everyone in the kitchen, and when you’re done we’ll wrap up your food for you so you can enjoy the fruits of your labour back in your camp, or wherever you like. We’ll do the dishwashing!

This year FoodJam is located at CITYCentre East and is open daily from Sunday 30 June to Sunday 7 July from 10-20. It’s possible to reserve a spot in advance, or you can drop by to see if there are any available spots when you feel like it. The price of donning the apron with us is 50 DKK.

Last year, the stalls and restaurateurs saw profits of 14 million Danish kroner – a large part of this going to local clubs and associational life. On the camping area beer, soft drinks, juice, and wine etc. are sold in cans, bottles and cartons. On the main festival site drinks are usually sold in refundable plastic cups. The offer is subject to change, printing errors and the possibility of items being out of stock.

BEER SALES

On the camping area drinks are sold at CITYcentre East and West, by Apollo and at Agora M. Additionally, there are two lorry sales points by Street City and Agora P, where only entire crates of beer are sold and only card payment is accepted. Cold Tuborg beer is sold at favourable prices when you buy a crate of 24. On the festival site drinks are sold at Tuborg stalls, at the festival’s own bars and in selected food stalls. Furthermore, beer is sold in the front stage pits at Orange and Arena.

DRINKS ON THE FESTIVAL SITE

You are allowed to bring one drink of your own choosing onto the main festival site in a container of up to 0.5 litres. The container must not be made of glass and must be accepted by the festival’s refund system to help minimise waste and the environmental impact as much as possible. Empty drink containers of any shape and form can be brought onto the main festival site, as long as they are not made of glass.

Stolen wristbands are usually not replaced by Roskilde Festival. Instead you should contact your home or travel insurance provider for information about replacement of stolen wristbands. Anyone caught without a wristband on the festival area will be liable to pay a fee of DKK 3,500. When the fee is paid you will be offered a ticket without any additional charge if the festival is not sold out.

When you turn 15 you are old enough to explore Roskilde Festival on your own, but please remember that Roskilde Festival is one big city where everybody is partying all the time, so it is a good idea for you and your friends to stick together. You are allowed to ride a bike around the camping area – but the festival site is off limits for bicycles. You can park your bicycle at Entrance East and West as well as just north of the festival site.

The agoras are the squares and meeting places of the different neighbourhoods in the camping area. Every agora has a tower marked clearly with a letter. Also the tower is the contact point if you need help, in the event of trouble, or any other instance, where you require assistance. The tower serves as the base for the festival’s service attendants who are there to assist you if needed. Find them by the tower or out and about in the camping area. Some of the agoras have different identities – Cinema City, Game City, Dream City, Relax City and Street City – where there will be decorations, activities and events. The main activities at the agoras will take place from Sunday 30 June to Wednesday 3 July.

CITYcentre EAST and WEST

There will be CITYcentres at camping East and camping West. The CITYcentres are the shopping streets and market squares of the festival city and house a variety of services and exciting activities that make the CITYcentres worth a visit. Here you’ll find an agora, ATMs, merchandise sellers, first aid station, beer sales, refund stalls and food stalls. At the CITYcentres chosen stalls are open around the clock from Saturday 29 June at 18:00 until Monday 8 July at 12:00.

Silent & Clean at Agora J in Camping East is for those of you who wish to stay in an area that is kept cleaner and where there are no noisy parties and loud music constantly. At every agora in the camping area, a free cloakroom is available. They are open around the clock from 07:00 Saturday 29 June until 12:00 Monday 8 July. All stalls accept other currencies than Danish kroner (EUR, NOK, SEK, GBP, USD) and many stalls accept credit/debit cards. You can get cash back during a purchase if the stall has sufficient cash available (only applies to Dankort transactions). The maximum amount for such a withdrawal is 500 DKK and you can only withdraw bank notes. Change is only given in Danish kroner.

car batteries Car batteries can be charged at CITYcentre East and West, Agora G and Agora L. There is a deposit of 250 DKK the first time the car battery is handed in for charging, and one charging is 150 DKK.

When the festival is over, you can choose either to take the battery home with you or hand it in along with the receipt and receive the 250 DKK in return. Chargers are not required.

Free water can be obtained at water taps located by most toilets on the camping site as well as on the festival site. During concerts free water is distributed in front of the stages.

WIFI

Roskilde Festival provides WiFi-hotspots in selected areas of the festival site.
