Rossall Foundation Annual Appeal The Foundation was created to support the School and help it flourish Our Annual Appeal is a vital part of this
What are the aims of the Annual Appeal?
The Annual Appeal offers Old Rossallians and parents the opportunity to contribute to projects and aspects of education which cannot be funded through traditional income sources. These contributions will create immediate and beneficial effects to school life at Rossall. Our aim is to provide outstanding facilities which will assist in delivering the highest levels of academic, sporting and cultural education.
‘An investment in knowledge pays the best interest ’ Benjamin Franklin
As with so many aspects of life, the finishing touches make a huge difference. Recent donations have allowed us to provide iPads for the Junior School, defibrillators for the whole campus, support for the Chapel Choir and much needed Sports and Physics equipment. All items have been greatly received by both pupils and staff and would not have been possible without your support.
Our focus now is to really make a difference to School life. Rossall has evolved over recent years but we are proud that some things never change, including the generous support of those who have benefitted from what Rossall has offered.
Why support the Annual Appeal?
Are you an Old Rossallian wanting to give something back? Maybe your child is leaving or has recently left, and you would like to recognise their time at Rossall. Perhaps your child is currently studying at Rossall and you would like to improve facilities in order to make a difference to their School life. Whatever your reason, we would appreciate your support. Participation is the key to the success of our Annual Appeal, not the amount given. If 200 members of the Rossall community donate £15 each per month, this would raise £36,000 each year, making a huge impact on key areas of School life.

Rossall would not be the School it is, and offer the facilities it does, without the generous support it has always gratefully received from the Rossall Community. The pupils, staff and the Rossall Foundation would like to express their thanks to everyone who continues to support the School, in whatever way they can. For more information on the Rossall Foundation please see the back of this brochure.

Indoor Golf Academy In keeping with the vision of offering an ever expanding number of sports on the campus, we wish to create an indoor golf facility. This includes a video analysis system (Foresight GC2-powered Performance SimulationTM), net and putting area. These facilities would provide a great opportunity for pupils to develop their golfing talent. Rossall has a tradition of nurturing talented golfers and this facility will allow us to continue this tradition.
Foundation Bursary Fund Widening access and enabling opportunities ... Providing the benefits of a Rossall Education has always been central to our philosophy. The new Foundation Bursary Fund is being launched and its first recipient will be joining us in September 2016. We hope you will support this Fund. There is no greater gift we can give, than that of an excellent Rossall education.
