These two weeks after the interim crit, I have looked into the comments from the lecturers, and modified and fused some of their them which I found quite relevant into my scheme. I am quite happy that the design scheme has a more solid and more concrete approach and exploration since two weeks before. I have looked into the main concept which is the boat building process. It itself is already a very complicated process and I also did some studies on natural lighting as this is one of the most important element I required especially in the workshop area and the RnD area. I have also looked further into Louis Kahn's Kimbell's Art Museum for precedent study. I do realize the difference in scale for my building yet the principle is still the same - bringing natural light into the space. These all findings contributed to where I am now at the Final stage of the scheme design.
