“Scholarships and Financial Aid was very helpful in deciding how to pay for college. They showed me which scholarships I was eligible for and what I would need to do to earn others. They have also aided me in applying a payment plan to cover the costs not covered by my scholarship.” —SHELBY LANDES, Communication Sciences and Disorders & Spanish (double major) Edmond, Okla.
HOME SWEET HOME
Where will I live and where am I going to eat? At OSU, we offer three styles of housing: community-style, suites and apartments. Nearly all of our housing options are centrally located, just a five-minute walk from the heart of campus. It’s more than just a place to sleep: Our residential halls offer activities and programming designed to help foster a sense of community. So while you may move in by yourself, you’ll leave with a group of close-knit friends. Our more than 30 dining options across campus offer a variety of cuisines, including Baja Fresh, Chick-fil-A, Jamba Juice, Johnny Rockets and Which Wich. Our students choose from a number of dollar-for-dollar meal plans, so grabbing food is as easy as swiping your student ID like a debit card. The hardest part will be deciding where to eat!

THE ORA NGE LIFE We know there’s more to life than just the classroom. At OSU, we offer more than 450 clubs and organizations that allow you to get involved in the areas you enjoy most, from wakeboarding to student government. If you’re looking for a little competition, try one of our dozens of intramural or club sports, or just stay active at the Colvin Recreation Center, our nationally recognized recreation facility. Get involved through a fraternity or sorority; our Greek community is extremely active throughout campus and encourages social interaction, service and academic performance. However you choose to get involved at OSU, you’ll be able to find your best fit.

THE COWBOY WAY At OSU, orange isn’t just a color. It’s a way of life. Our students, staff and alumni rave about the sense of togetherness that joins us all as members of the Cowboy Family. This is highlighted during our Homecoming celebration. Each October, more than 70,000 members of the Cowboy Family return to campus to view the massive house decorations at Walkaround, watch the Sea of Orange parade and cheer the Cowboys on to victory on the field.
Our Cowboy and Cowgirl teams have won a combined 51 national championships, ranking us first in the Big 12 and fourth nationally. Whether it’s chanting “ORANGE POWER” in Boone Pickens Stadium or singing the alma mater after a thrilling win, you’ll love being a part of OSU athletics.
“OSU was different than visiting other colleges because they didn’t make me feel like a number. I felt like I was coming to join a family.” —SIMONE BURNETT, Multimedia Journalism, Rowlett, Texas
#VISITOK STATE Most current Cowboys credit the campus tour as the number one reason they chose OSU, with our friendly atmosphere, welcoming student body and beautiful campus. Discover if OSU is the right fit for you by coming to see for yourself. We offer walking campus tours daily Monday-Friday and on select Saturdays.
We also hold a number of on-campus events throughout the year, including Junior Day, an event designed to help you learn more about the opportunities available at OSU.
