LA GREAT PROMISE OF THE HEART OF MARY. PONTEVEDRA. 1925 (y 1926). (Taken from the Works of Fr. Joaquin Alonso) “The Blessed Virgin is very sad because nobody gives any importance to His Message” (Sister Lucia, seer of Fatima).

GOD HAS ALWAYS EXPECTED A FERVOROUS RESPONSE FROM US. At Fatima, on July 13, 1917, the Virgin said to the little shepherds: “In order to prevent war, I will come to ask for the Consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart and the Reparatory Communion on the first Saturdays of the month.” “I promise salvation to anyone who practices devotion to my Immaculate Heart, and their souls will be loved by God as flowers laid by Me to adorn His Throne.”

Our Lady of the Rosary. She asked in Fatima the prayer of the Holy Rosary every day.

The promise made by Our Lady to make a future manifestation concerning the practice of Reparatory Communion was fulfilled on December 10, 1925. The Reparatory Communion, also known as The Great Promise of the Heart of Mary, is a guarantee of salvation and condition for the conversion of Russia.

Lucia was a postulant in the Convent of the Dorotheas in Pontevedra, Spain, when she had an apparition of the Virgin in a cloud of light, with the Child Jesus by her side. The Blessed Virgin placed Her hand on Lucia's shoulder while, in the other hand, She held Her Heart surrounded by thorns. The Child Jesus told Lucia:

1

“Have compassion for the Heart of your Most Holy Mother, Her Heart is surrounded by the thorns that ungrateful men are pressing at every moment, and no one does an act of reparation to remove them.” Immediately, Our Lady said to Lucia: “Look, my daughter, my Heart surrounded by thorns, which ungrateful men press upon Me with blasphemies and ingratitude. You, at least, try to comfort me and say that all the people who during 5 months, on the first Saturday + make confession, + receive Holy Communion, + pray the Rosary, + and keep me company for 15 minutes meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary in order to make reparation, I promise to attend at the hour of death with the graces necessary for their salvation.”

Aparición en Pontevedra, 1925.

Due to the difficulty that is usually presented to confess oneself on the Sabbath, Jesus consented that it be done within the next 8 days, and even for many more days, provided that the soul receives the Communion in a state of Grace and with the intention To redress the Immaculate Heart of Mary. In addition, the practice of this devotion will be equally acceptable on the Sunday following the first Saturday, when priests, for just reasons, grant it to souls. This devotion consists of 5 Saturdays because 5 blasphemies are spoken against the Immaculate Heart of Mary: 1. Against Her Immaculate Conception. 2. Against Her Virginity. 3. Against Her divine motherhood, rejecting Her at the same time as the Mother of men. 4. Infusion of indifference, contempt and hatred in children's hearts towards Her. 5. Outrage to his sacred Images.

“Finally my Immaculate Heart will triumph” 2

And the promise made by Our Lady to make a future manifestation concerning the Consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart was fulfilled in Tuy, Spain, in 1929. It is Our Lady who speaks: “The time has come when God asks the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the Consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means.” If God allows the Consecration of Russia to be late, it is because great crimes and sins require it, but mainly because of our laziness and indifference. Aparición en Tuy, 1929. This message did not reach the Pope until 1942, and the Consecration that took place this year did not fulfill all the demands of Heaven: “Consecration of Russia by the Pope in union with all the bishops of the world, in a solemn and public act repair”. For this reason the conversion of Russia was not obtained for the moment, but yes the abbreviation of World War II (which was announced during the night of the 24th-25th of January, 1938, by an unknown light that illuminated all of Europe, as the Blessed Virgin warned at Fatima in 1917).

True and Extraordinary Face of the Virgin Mary. St. John Diego saw tenderness and peace in this Face; but the 3 pastors of Fatima saw goodness and sadness.

[And throughout the 20th century was not realized the Consecration.]
