Excitement fills the air as we unveil the much-anticipated Presidents Elect Meet, a cornerstone event within RID 3012! This annual gathering of newly elected presidents from various clubs in our district is more than just a meeting; it's a symphony of leadership aspirations and a canvas where the future of our Rotaract journey begins to take shape.

During this event, ideas for the upcoming tenure are shared among the presidents, fostering a collaborative environment where planning and execution strategies for various events are discussed. This platform not only enables the exchange of innovative ideas but also provides an opportunity for presidents to connect with their peers, forging new relationships that will facilitate joint efforts in the coming year.

DISTRICT ASSEMBLY 2023-24

Under the guidance of DRR Rtr. Arushi Bhadoria, Rotaract District 3012 inaugurated "आगमन," the District Assembly for the 2023-24 term. Over 200 Rotaractors from 40+ clubs convened, undergoing enriching training sessions led by the newly elected Executive Council. The event was graced by the esteemed presenceofDistrictGovernor Elect Rtn. Priyatosh Gupta, District Governor Elect Rtn. Prashant, and Rtn. Vidur Chharia, District Rotaract Committee Chair. A day of knowledge, camaraderie, and pivotalbeginnings.

In a spectacular launch to the 2023-24 tenure, Rotaract District 3012 embarked on a remarkable journey of impact with "7 Days, 7 Projects." Each day focused on a unique development area, showcasing the diverse capabilities of our Rotaract community.

A standout among these initiatives was "Project Hope 4.0," a powerful demonstration of unity and impact. This project seamlessly brought together dedicated Rotaractors from Zones 1, 2, 3, and 4. It wasn't just an event; it was a testament to the strength that emerges when we unite for a common cause.

INSTALLATION & THANKSGIVING CEREMONY

On 15th December 2023, the Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj hosted the installation ceremony of Rtr. Sakshi Rai and her team for the 2023-24 tenure. Held in the SHD Hall of G. L. Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management, the event featured Rtn. Gagan Saraogi, President of Rotary Club of Delhi Imperial, as the Chief Guest. Our college's vice chairman, Rtn. Pankaj Agarwal, also graced the occasion with his presence. The ceremony included the pinning and oath-taking of the new Executive Council, alongside inspiring speeches from distinguished guests. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Secretary of the club, Rtr. Rohit Verma.

Spearheaded by the Rotaract Club, this movement not only raised awareness but ignited a community-wide commitment to fostering a greener, sustainable future. In an effort to break the stigma surrounding menstruation and foster hygiene awareness, the Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj proudly executed "Project Shakti." Recognizing the significance of menstrual health in the lives of adolescent girls and women in rural areas, the project aimed to dispel misconceptions and promote essential hygiene practices. "Project Shakti" took a bold step to address this issue, promoting good health and hygiene for underprivileged women in our local community.

On the auspicious occasion of World Animal Welfare Day, The Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj organized "Project Paw Rangers" with a heartfelt mission – to nourish and care for our beloved four-legged companions, the most loyal creatures on Earth. The initiative was a testament to the club's dedication to animal welfare, emphasizing the importance of extending love and support to our furry friends. The impact of "Project Paw Rangers" was profound, as it successfully provided essential food and nourishment to our cherished pawed companions.

A total of 23 Rotaractors enthusiastically participated, embodying the spirit of compassion and commitment. Their collective efforts not only made the project a resounding success but also exemplified the Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj's ongoing dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of those who cannot speak for themselves.

ROTARACT CLUB OF GL BAJAJ'S BIG HEART EVENT!

Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj and the Rotary Club of Delhi Imperial joined hands for a special Blood Donation Camp. Students from G.L. Bajaj Institute showed their big hearts by donating a total of 160 units of blood. This generous act aimed to help those who needbloodinemergencies,likeaccidentsorsurgeries.

The Rotary Blood Bank of Noida made sure every drop counted. Our special guests – Rtn. Gagan Saraogi, head of the Rotary Club of Delhi Imperial, and our institute's Vice Chairman, Rtn. Pankaj Agarwal, cheered up everyone. Their support showed that when we work together, we can make a big difference in people'slives!

Serving Smile

The Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj proudly organized "Project Servings Smiles" under our flagship project Saakshar, in collaboration with the Thaagam Foundation. Recognizing that donating food is one of the greatest virtues and that our ability to conquer hunger defines our humanity, this initiative aimed to bridge the gap between NGOs, donors, and the needy. Our primary objective was to facilitate communication and interaction among these groups while raising awareness about hunger and food insecurity. Through this project, we strived tobringsmilesandnourishmenttothosein need, reinforcing our commitment to communityserviceandcompassion.

On the auspicious occasion of Vivekananda Jayanti, the Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj organized a Stationery Kit Donation Drive as part of its flagship project, PROJECT SAAKSHAR. In collaboration with District 3012 Project Saahas, the event aimed to distribute stationery kits to children, transforming their lives through the power of education. By providing essential educational supplies, we sought to empower these young minds and support their academic journeys, honoring the legacy of Swami Vivekananda andhisemphasisoneducation.

GENESIS

The Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj is thrilled to have been Partner Club with The Rotaract Club of Galgotias Educational Institutions for Genesis 8.0! The project was all about bringing about fun and involvement among the underprivileged children. . The Children were given bunch of fun activities like sports, dance, arts etc. Prizes were distributed to encourage the children to honor their skills. It was an honour to be part of such a meaningful event celebrating joy and inspiring hope. Together, we made a significant impact and created unforgettablemomentsforthoseinneed

Project wild Wonders

In a heartening display of compassion and dedication, Rotaract club of GL Bajaj and Interact clubs embarked on a week-long journey titled "Project Wild Wonders," aimed at addressing the welfare of animals in urban areas. From street dogs to birds, cows to wildlife conservation, each day brought forth a new focus area, underscoring the diverse needs of our animal counterparts.

Day 1: Fed Street Dogs

Kicking off the initiative on April 10th, volunteers gathered near their localities to feed street dogs or set up drinking water stations. With a minimum of five participants from each club, the streets came alive with acts of kindness towards our four-legged friends. Photos of the heartwarming gestures were shared online, amplifying the message of compassion.

Day 2: Webinar on Wildlife conservation

OnApril11th,awebinarprovedtobe an enlightening experience for participants. Renowned speaker Kedar Gore, Director of the Corbett Foundation, shared insights on coexisting with wildlife in urban settings. The virtual event, held on GoogleMeet,sawactiveparticipation from Rotaractors and Interactors, furthering their understanding of animalwelfareissues.

Day 3: Fed Cows

April 12th saw volunteers turn their attention to the bovine residents of their localities. With a focus on street cows, they provided food and water or set up drinking areas to ensure the well-being of these gentle creatures.

Day 4: Fed Birds

The plight birds took center stage on April 13th as volunteers worked to create drinking water areas and bird feedersneartheirlocalities.Inaddition to their practical efforts, participants engaged in a quiz to test their knowledge about animal welfare, Breeds ,conservation and related topics.

Day 5: Meet and Greet at Okhla Bird Sanctuary

Wrapping up the week-long initiative on April 14th, participants gathered at the picturesque Okhla Bird Sanctuary in Noida for a meet and greet event. Against the backdrop of nature, Interactors and Rotaractors bonded over shared experiences, strengthening their commitmenttoanimalwelfare.

The Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj actively participated in the District Rangde Session, dedicating three days to this inspiring project. The objective of the session was to infuse creativity, positivity, and a sense of community into the surroundings of the Rotary Institute for Special Children with vibrant colors and wonderful art. Our Rotaractors showcased their creativity by painting vibrant images and illustrations, transforming the environment and infusing it with festive fervor. This initiative not only brightened the space but also brought joy and a sense of belonging to the children and everyone involved.

On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, November 11, 2023, The Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj sparkled with creativity as it unveiled "Project Alpana." This unique initiative aimed not only to celebrate the festival of lights but also to honor the rich cultural heritage of rangoli art. "Project Alpana" provided a captivating platform to showcase the diversity and significance of rangoli across variousregionsandtraditions.

On December 6, 2023, The Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj set the stage ablaze with "Reel Rumble," an engaging reel-making competition that welcomed participants from all walks of life. The competition, open to everyone, saw 18 individuals infuse their reels with creativity and enthusiasm, each revolving around distinctive themes.

In a bid to strengthen bonds and foster camaraderie among Rotaractors, the Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj hosted a delightful Meet & Greet event named "Fun in the Sun." The Sunday morning event was filled with memorable moments as various sports activities unfolded, providing not only an opportunity for friendly competition.

On November 22, 2023, The Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj, RID 3012, brought the magic of cinema to its members with a delightful "Movie Night" hosted via Google Meet. The chosen film for the evening was the classic Hollywood comedy, "Johnny English Reborn." As anticipated, the movie night was a hit, filledwithlaughterandcamaraderie.

Intellect Clash

The Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj orchestrated a thought-provoking event, "Intellect Clash," a spirited debate competition aimed at cultivating understanding and garnering diverse perspectives on given topics. With a focus on enhancing communication and verbal skills, the competition attracted enthusiastic participation from both rotaractorsandnon-rotaractors.

KHEL MELA CLUB SERVICES

The Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj enthusiastically contributed as volunteers during the 10-year anniversary celebration of an NGO on September 29th and 30th, 2023. Our involvement spanned a multitude of roles, from adorning the venue with decorations to orchestrating engaging games for the children associated with the NGO. We assisted the PSD team, facilitated guest registration, and ensured smooth ushering throughout the event. Our dedication extended to various miscellaneous tasks, all aimed at enhancing the celebration's success and bringing joy to the NGO's children through the array of organized games.

In collaboration with the RID 3012 project on water, sanitation, and hygiene, the Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj orchestrated a transformative community drive. Aptly named "Project HandWellness," this initiative was meticulously designed to bring about a positive impact on the lives of NGO children. In a collaborative effort with Saahas, The RotaractClubofGLBajajactivelyparticipatedin "Project Adhayapana," a dedicated initiative for CBSE 10th class students. The informative session, conducted online, aimed at providing educational support to students by focusing on fundamental subjects. OFFICIAL VISIT

The Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj organized its tenure's DRR's Official Visit on March 11, 2024, via an online meeting platform. The meeting commenced promptly at 9:00 PM with a formal welcome by the Masters of Ceremony (MOC), Rtr. Aryan Raj & Rtr. Aditi Singh, who extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests.

The DRR's Official Visit was a significant event for the Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj, providing an opportunity to showcase the club's achievements, initiatives, and future goals. This two-day multi-sport event saw competition between colleges in the GB Nagar zone in sports like football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, kho-kho, athletics, chess, table tennis and kabaddi. Our club fielded teams in 7 different categories.

2024 EXCURSION

The Rotaract Club of GL Bajaj recently organized its annual Club Excursion trip, which took place from 2nd May to 5th May 2024. This year, the destination was the serene and picturesque Gibhi in Himachal Pradesh. As the club's biggest fellowship event, the excursion provided an excellent opportunity for Rotaractors to unwind, create cherished memories, and strengthen bonds with fellowmembers.
