Club president Sanjay Kagade exchanged club flags with Albert Wong, president RC Tanjong Pagar, his wife and past president Jora during a visit to Singapore. He had fruitful exchange of ideas with the Rotarians, while briefing them about his club’s projects and initiatives.

Around 45 children from Mobile Creches took part in the Hiranandani Estate Rotary Olympics, HERO 2023, supported by the Inner Wheel club. Vocational Excellence Awards were given to six eminent people — Pradeep Lokhande, social entrepreneur; Vivek Kulkarni, wildlife scientist; Madhusudan Surve, ex-Army commando; Mrudul Sawant, women’s rights activist; Anuja Sankhe, banker and writer; and Vikas Patnekar, water colour artist.

RC Honavar

An eco-friendly sanitary pad incinerator was donated to the Government High School which will help 150 girl students and 15 female teaching and non-teaching staff to safely dispose of used napkins. Each year, the club holds MHM awareness sessions reaching out to 1,000-plus girl students.
