enis Bodart est belge. Son premier album, “SaintGermain- des- Morts” avec Alain Streng, sort en 1985. Il se lance ensuite avec Yann Lepennetier dans différents projets (Célestin Spéculoos, Chaminou, Nicotine Goudron). Après un bref épisode S-F avec Chris Lamquet, puis plusieurs rencontres - notemment au cours de sa collaboration au journal Spirou - il crée avec Fabien Velhmann la série “Green Manor” chez Dupuis (3 tomes à ce jour). La Chambre Belge des Experts en Bande Dessinée lui décerne le Prix du Meilleur Dessin (2006) pour “Fantaisies Meurtrières”... Parallèlement à la BD et à divers travaux de commandes, il travaille dans le domaine de la publicité et la communication d’entreprise - c’est dans ce cadre qu’il reçoit l’Alph’Art de la communication en 2005. Il travaille aujourd’hui pour les Editions Dargaud sur un western intitulé” Indeh” écrit par Philippe Nihoul.” Denis Bodart is belgian. He enters in the comic field in 1984 with the publication of “Saint-Germain-des Morts” (writing by Alain Streng). With writer Yann Lepennetier, he undertakes various projects like “Célestin Speculoos”, “Chaminou”, “Nicotine Goudron”). After a short sci-fi periode with Chris Lamquet (for the album “Les Abbérants”), then several meetings - among others during its collaboration with newspaper “Spirou” - he creates with writer Fabien Velhmann “Green Manor” at Dupuis (3 volumes to date). “The Belgian Room of the Experts in Comic strip” decrees to him the Price of the Best Drawing (2006) for “Fantaisies Meurtrières”… In parallel to the comic books, he works for publicity and communication - He receives “Alph’ Art” of the communication in 2005 at Angoulême International Comics Festival. He works today for Dargaud’s Editions on a western entitled” Indeh” written by Philippe Nihoul.” Denis Bodart es belga. Con el guionista Yann Lepennetier, desarrolla distintos proyectos como “Célestin Spéculoos”, “Chaminou”, “Nicotine Goudron”. Después de un album con Chris Lamquet (de la serie de ciencia-ficción “Les Abbérants”), y varios encuentros (en particular durante su colaboracion al periodico “Spirou”) con el guionista Fabien Velhmann, ambos crean “Green Manor “ para la editorial Dupuis (3 volúmenes hasta ahora). “La Habitacion Belga de los Expertos en Tebeo” le da el premio al Mejor Dibujo (2006) por “Fantaisies Meurtrières”… Además de los tebeos y de distintos trabajos de encargo, trabaja también en el ámbito de la publicitad y la comunicacion de empresa –recibe por este trabajo el “Alph’art” de la comunicacion en 2005 en el Salon Internacional del cómic de Angoulême.
