RTI WORLD FELLOWSHIP .3RD OCTOBER, 2021, DUBAI
THE NEW BOARD OF RTI
DUBAI DIARIES Written by Tr. Sumit Mittal, KURT17 RTIWM2021 gave a ray of hope for the resumption of International Tabling which was disrupted due to the COVID19 pandemic. This RTIWM was going to be special because it was 1st time in the history of Round Table Nepal that a tabler had filed the nomination for the post of RTI Vice President from RTN and the election was scheduled to happen in the RTIWM2021. The 4-hour flight to Dubai was one of the best flights I had in life and it was because of the company of good friends I had. As soon we reached the hotel, tablers were there everywhere and the feeling was on a different level when meeting your old friends for the first time and also the ones whom we had met before. The 2nd day of RTIWM, we were free in the morning, but there was the councilors meeting at the hotel in the afternoon. It was a very healthy and fruitful discussion on various issues and was good to learn new things. Later in the night was the Nations Night, one of the most awaited events in the RTIWM. Every country had their tables ready with various delicacies, drinks, sweets etc of their respective country. Everyone was dressed in their national costume and welcoming other tablers and circlers to their country’s table to try out the delicacies and drinks. During the World Meet, the highlights were the Investiture of Incoming RTI Vice-President, Tr. Jayant Agrawal from our own association, and the honor medal awarded to IPP Saurabh Kedia. It was a privilege and honor for all of us from RTN who were there at this historic moment.

NEW KID ON THE BLOCK NEPALGUNJ PHOENIX ROUNDTABLE INAUGURATION
PHOENIX RISING Rising from the ashes of what was once Nepalgunj Round Table 9, KZRT22 has sponsored a new Table in Nepalgunj City, which will be known as Nepalgunj Phoenix Round Table. The new table in Nepalgunj is young, ambitious, and full of zeal to make a mark in the world of Tabling and to make a difference in the lives of countless children by serving as per the Round Table motto of Adopt, Adapt, Improve. On the 17th Day of September, 2021 at Hotel Siddharth View, Karkando, Nepalgunj, the new table was Inaugurated in the presence of RTN president Tr. Anand Bahety, National Seceratry Tr. Govind Ghairaiya, National Editor Tr. Vimal Baid, RTN Extension Convener Tr. Pravesh Agrawal, Supply House Convener Tr. Amish Dokaniya Tr. Pravesh Agrawal, KZRT 22 team, OT's of NRT-9 and other fellow tablers from BRT-3, KIRT-7, KCRT-12, KURT-17, KTRT-25, DART-29. The event was a grand success and the newly formed Table is ready to bring more value and service to Round Table Nepal and to the whole RT Movement.
CHARTER CHAIRMAN SPEAKS !! New Table !! New Journey !! New responsibility !! Round Table is a platform where one can meet new people and instantly socialize with fellow tablers. It is an organization where all the fellow tablers are equal. It creates an environment where one can instantly socialize with a stranger who is also a tabler. Being a tabler is a great feeling for me. Also to lead a new table is tough and exciting job. Being the Chartered Chairman of Chitwan Round Table has been a moment of pride. The journey so far has been quite an exciting one with the help of my fellow tablers. Chartering a new table came with the initiation of Tr. Nitesh Maheswari who helped unite the core group of Chitwan round table, and was a big help in bringing about this charter. A few highlights of our tabling journey till now have been the arrival of ASPA chairman Tr. Siddant Gupta along with RTN president Tr. Saurabh Kedia and RTN family. That meet convinced me of the range of connections Round Table will provide in the days to come. My fellow tablers are always supportive to me. No task is tough when the board is always supportive to the chairman. And I am so lucky to have such a supportive board within the table and association. Leading a new table as a chartered chairman is a tough job. To make tablers intact to tabling to maintain sound and stable financial condition is a tough task. However I am

enjoying tabling, all thanks to the social meets and fellowships that round table encourages.

BLAST FROM THE PAST, RTIWM 2016, ROUND TABLE NEPAL, KATHMANDU THIS YEAR, WE WILL BE DOING A SERIES OF REVISITING OUR PAST, THE EVENTS THAT CREATED LEGACIES, AND MADE LEGENDS. LOOKING BACK AT SOME MOMENTS THAT REDIFENED TABLING IN NEPAL
It is an extraordinary year that Manoj K. Das has spent. Organizing a World Meet is no mean feat and Manoj has taken the bull by its horns. A seasonedTabler – Manoj joined in 2005 – and having served as President (2010-11) IPP/IRO (2011-12), he is no stranger to the massive-scale organizational machinery that needs mobilizing when organizing such a huge event. “We had the opportunity to host the meet in 2004 but that year there were a lot of cancellations. Unfortunately, we could not conduct the event. As per RTI records, Reykjavik was the official host and that has never settled well with me”, reminisces Manoj. “A suitable event venue and an international airport are the minimum requirements for putting in a bid. But one needs guts and supreme confidence to even contemplate bringing together the planning, logistics, and coordination. It takes a lot out of one’s personal sphere – one’s professional and family life goes for a complete toss.

parties Slated for five days – 31st August to 4th September – the World Meet is a platform to take stock of activities that Round Table International has done in the current Tabling year. Also on the agenda are issues of increasing memberships and extensions, and overall increase in Tabling. Apart from the more formal issues, the Meet encourages Tablers to indulge in the host country’s cultures and traditions and touristic attractions. “This year we have planned for a series of events that will showcase the best of Nepal to Tablers from around the world. The breathtaking landscape of our country is what many guests will travel across before the Meet begins, indulging in treks (Everest Base Camp) and rafting expeditions. This will ensure that the country’s immense touristic potential is explored.World-class entertainment programs, carnivals, along with the Nations Night will keep attendees engaged.”

BCRT15 - 300TH BUSINESS MEETING
BCRT-15 concluded its landmark 300th Meeting and had the launch of the new Table flag on 28th August, 2021.
CHARTER CHAIRMAN SPEAKS Being a chairman of a new table has been a great learning ride for me. From being a carefree person to being a responsible one , the RT platform has bought a lot of positive changes in me. When I first learned about round table, my motive was to travel a lot, meet new people, and party hard. But RoundTable has given me much more than that. There has been development in my leadership skill as well as a personality like making decisions that are virtuous for everyone, maintaining peace and harmony, developing fellowship among everyone, involving everyone for the formulation of an idea, etc. I feel lucky to have wonderful friends in HRT who are always there to help and support me. I would like to thank our sponsor table, NRT 14, and specially Tr. Nitesh Jaju for working hard and always being there to support us.
Tr. Ashish Tayal, HRT30
In this short span of time, I have already got a chance to attend 2 NEXs and 1 NAGM and meet ASPA chairman Siddhant Gupta and RTI President Tr. D K Singh .

AREA 1 FELLOWSHIPS
AREA 1 COFFEE MEET & LAPD SESSION
A fellowship was organized in Area 1 on the 19th of September 2021 at Mike's Breakfast, Lazimpat. Around 35 tablers attended the fellowship. During the fellowship, each tabler was requested to pin a name tag on themselves with their name, table number and occupation written on the tag. This activity helped tablers interact with each other and also discover various fields that every tabler was working in. Apart from this, a short LAPD session was also planned, where tablers introduced themselves and through this activity, we believe we were able to communicate the importance of each tabler present and combined strength. It was a wonderful evening with fabulous personal and professional interactions among tablers. Area 1 Coordinator Tr. Sajjan, Tr. Saket Agrawal(KRT1) & Tr. Bikash Gurung(KMRT4) organized this event.
On the momentous occasion of Tr. Jayant Agrawal being conferred upon the VP Jewel of Round Table International, Round Table Nepal planned a facilitation fellowship on 3rd October 2021. A lot of Tablers, OT’s, Circlers and Spouses were part of this Historic Celebration.
