Political Communication Ethics Theory and Practice Edited by Peter Loge

August 2020 276 pages Hardback 9781538129968 ÂŁ54.00 / $70.00

Political Communication Ethics: Theory and Practice introduces students to how political communication professionals ought to behave, and how they actually behave. The chapters by both scholars and practitioners will help students wrestle with the question of what ethical responsibilities, if any, political communications professionals have. Peter Loge is Associate Professor in the School of Media and Public Affairs at The George Washington University, where he created the first course on political communication ethics at GW. Prior to joining SMPA fulltime, he spent 25+ years as a political communications professional, including lobbying, consulting, and serving in senior positions in the House, Senate, and Obama administration.

February 2020 246 pages Hardback 9781498581776 £73.00 / $95.00

The author argues that peace operations have a precise function in the international scenario – the maintenance of a neoliberal order in the international society.
