THE GAME. CHANGED.

Sometimes a car will come along that breaks the established rules. The boundaries of progress are challenged. The impossible becomes the possible. Sports Series by McLaren is such a car. It recalibrates the senses. It redefines performance. It changes the game.

MEET THE BUYER We sat down with Head Menswear Buyer, Reece Hutton, to find out what’s involved in the world of menswear buying at one of the UK’s leading fashion retailers, Cruise. Reece gives us style advice for the typical ROX MAN and discusses key trends for SS16. For what’s hot and what’s not, this is the male style guide you’ll need to know.

H

ow did you begin your career in fashion? My career started nearly 20 years ago. Growing up I always had a love of clothes, fashion and music so when an opportunity came up to work with my favourite store at the time, Van Mildert in Durham, I jumped at the chance. I started working on the shop floor at 17 and within a year I became assistant buyer. We quickly gathered a reputation as the best store in the country. Multiple fashion awards followed and this cemented my passion of the industry. From here I moved on to Menswear Buyer and then Head of Menswear Buying as

the group expanded. We took over the iconic Cruise business in 2010 and from here the whole business has grown extraordinarily into something quite special. What does a typical day look like in the life of The Head Cruise Menswear Buyer? A lot of travelling, every day we seem to be out of office! The Menswear team undertake 250-300 appointments with fashion brands for a Summer season buying period between November and February and the same again for Winter between May and August. Mostly our travel is

– 38 –

within Europe but occasionally it does take us further afield. However, day to day we are analysing trade reports and trend analysis. We communicate with our suppliers and react accordingly to the requirements of the business. Strategy and budgetary meetings are ongoing with a company of this size and growth, so daily and weekly updates are fed in from the team and we plan against this feedback and results. The working week is structured so that the team can work and travel independently then collaborate in meetings at the start and also at the end of the week.

What are your SS16 summer staples for the ROX MAN? Footwear from Filling Pieces and Y-3 especially the low top elastic trainers from Filling Pieces and the Y-3 runners in a knitted texture. Stone Island make some of the most technical yet fashionable outerwear. I recommend the pixel reflective hooded jacket for SS16. prints. The twin monkey is the latest phase of Givenchy’s animal prints which will garner attention. Their Rottweiler print was hugely popular in the industry in previous seasons. Are there any weird trends that you will not be following? What to avoid? I have seen a lot of face masks in and around fashion weeks lately for AW16, worn by a younger streetwear audience. This is too far removed from what we offer and isn't something we would look to invest in. What’s the best style advice you’ve been given? You have to understand what you are comfortable in and develop your taste piece by piece. Observe what makes a look complete whether that be shape, colour, fabric or wearing designers with a similar adjacent look. Buy pieces from a collection within the same season and develop from there. Style is a foundation of your look, those with more confidence will try more progressive looks. Those that try too hard to develop their style will always look back in a few years and think ‘I wish I hadn’t’. What’s the best thing about working for Cruise? Any special perks? I have seen the best products in fashion, been to some amazing places and attended great events, making some very good friends along the way. The business has grown at great speed and it’s a testament to the company and the employees efforts. What are the main AW16 trends emerging this year? C

raig welcome to ROX, does it bring back good memories visiting us? Yes, lovely to be back. It's a beautiful store and I have always loved the relaxed atmosphere you portray in here. You’ve been getting around haven’t you? I have indeed. From the likes of Milan, New York, L.A., London, the epic Snowdonia in Wales, as well as working on a major movie project at Warner Bros. Studios. I love my job so wouldn't have it any other way. Walking on set each day for filming has been a delight and feel very honoured and grateful for the opportunities offered to me of late.

Last year you finished filming Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur, starring Jude Law and Sons of Anarchy actor Charlie Hunnam. How did this opportunity come about? I was fortunate enough to be cast by Guy Ritchie for a whisky ad in September 2014 and from meeting Guy during the audition and filming process I was asked to audition for Knights of the Round Table: King Arthur. You also starred in the famous HAIG Club advert last year with David Beckham? What was he like to work with? Did you share style tips? I did indeed. He was an absolute gent. Top

guy. I do not have a bad word to say about him. He is a terrific role model for aspiring athletes and any other industry as I believe his work ethic, manners, and standards are so high. I used to be a Sport Scientist working with pro football players so it was nice to chat fitness and football as he was renowned for being a fantastic engine in midfield as well as having an outstanding right leg. Great to hear him talk of his kids and how he likes to either drop them off at school or pick them up after as well as watch them take part in sport or activities at the weekend. I could tell this was a very important part of his life and he wants to continue to do this regardless of how busy his schedule may be. A terrific family man and very down to earth. It's been amazing to work

ROX MAGAZINE

Craig you are known for your unique style and love of sharp tailoring, is there a specific brand/designer you go for? Well thank you, that is very kind. Not necessarily. When I first moved from a career playing rugby and coaching elite athletes, to modelling and then acting, I realised it is important not to just follow trends. I was always brought up to set high standards and that image is important, but that I should wear what I feel comfortable in and go with my gut feeling of what I think looks good, not just wear something because I think it looks good on someone else. It is important to express yourself with your own style and not to necessarily follow trends. Your career started out as a professional rugby player, followed by sports coach and model. Now your acting career has taken off do you plan to stay in the acting industry or will you be showcasing another new talent? I have enjoyed each of the career paths you mentioned but to be honest I always wanted to be an actor but never thought it would happen. Perhaps I wasn't confident enough to give it a real go and felt it was a distant dream so I pursued a career in professional rugby. This ended very early after competing in a World Cup in Italy for Scotland Under-19's. I stayed within working in elite level sport but wanted to help other athletes achieve their dreams in sport via injury prevention techniques, re-hab, pre-hab, and general conditioning. From working with Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games athletes I was asked to be involved in the brand launch film campaign. From this I was scouted to join a modelling agency then scouted by a director who spotted a campaign I modelled for. I auditioned for lead roles in 3 short films and was thankfully offered all three roles. Then, Guy cast me in The Haig Club. From working with Guy twice within a year (Haig Club & KORT: King Arthur) it has given me a massive amount of experience over a short period of time working with a top director, film crews, and casts. I still have a long way to go but I am learning all the time and I am thoroughly enjoying the process. I see myself focussing on acting and really trying to push my career to the limits. I cannot thank Guy enough for offering me these opportunities and it has finally given me that confidence I always wanted to just give it a go and not think about the consequences if it doesn't work out. I will continue to work in order to improve my acting, accents, fight skills (jiu-jitsu, boxing, muai-tai, kick boxing, savate, martial arts, sword fighting) and horse riding. There are no limits to skills and stunts I want to learn so lots still to come. If you were to give any advice on moving into an acting career what would this be? Short films were a great way for me to start. These are a really good way to learn how a set works and practice your skills. Furthermore,

always look to add to your skills whether that be dancing, singing, or fight choreography. There are always more and more skills that can be applicable to film and TV or even theatre acting. You’re now living in London, what does 2016 have on the cards for Mr McGinlay? I have literally just finished filming KORT: King Arthur so will take some time out over Easter and see family and close friends in Scotland before heading back to London. KORT: King Arthur is due for cinema release on March 24th 2017. I have potential meetings in L.A. this year so let's see what happens there. Can we expect to see you as the future James Bond in years to come? Bond..? We'll see... Where do you see yourself in 10 years time? I would like to have achieved leading roles in my acting career and have shown success and diversity as an actor. I will likely still be based in London or potentially L.A. You must have a strong network around you, what does that look like? I do not want to name drop but I have worked with some fantastic actors as well as directors and models over the last 18 months. It has been a whirl wind of a time and I am so grateful for each and everyone's support throughout the process from my family and close friends, to work colleagues on film sets and photo shoot campaigns. Although I work with many of these guys it is great that we are close and get on well, so we hang out in London or LA at a restaurant or go to the cinema or a show, even play golf or train together in parks or gyms in London.

Our ROX MAN readers are watch enthusiasts, are you a watch man? I love watches. I have a nice collection of watches, two of which are from ROX. They help make sure I’m never late for meetings. We predict good things from you, so when you make your first million is there a watch lust list? Hublot is a brand that I am a huge fan of, so I know my collection will progress there. Hopefully I can collect them all. I like classic timepieces too but a sports watch for me has practicality and style. How do you find time for it all? I make time for it all. As I said earlier, I am very busy but I wouldn't have it any other way. I really enjoy my job. Do you prioritise what’s important to you in terms of work and play? I am a professional actor so need to prioritise my time to line learning and rehearsing. This comes first when working on a job but like any industry it is important to find the balance of work and play. Finally what does Craig McGinlay do to chill out? I enjoy playing golf with my dad and friends, going to the gym, and going for dinner. I'm a big foodie. I have always loved watching movies but I think now I watch film differently as I find myself analysing actors and films to help me develop so being able to research for work in the comfort of my own home or when at the cinema is a pleasure.

TREND REPORT

We know fitness is a big thing for you (we’ve seen the insta vids of you putting us all to shame in the gym) but are there any specific gym musts that you follow, do you have a PT? It's a huge part of my job both modelling and acting. For the likes of a modelling job I may need to be shredded/ripped and lose weight so I can fit the sample sizes for clothes then for the likes of KORT: King Arthur I put on around a stone and a half of muscle for the movie role. I do not have a PT. As aforementioned, I studied a Sport Science Masters degree and worked with elite level athletes from pro rugby and football, to elite Commonwealth and Olympic athletes, hence I have built up a good level of experience in terms of knowing how to bulk up and trim down quickly and healthily for acting roles.

LUXURY WATCH EDIT The definitive directory of what you should be wearing on your wrist right now. Words by Alex Doak.

ROYAL OAK DOUBLE BALANCE OPENWORKED

CLASSIC FUSION BERLUTI

NEBULA

Like a bold pairing of Robin Day armchair with Rennie Mackintosh sideboard, this remarkable piece frames a beautifully ornate, hand-crafted skeleton dial with that Seventies icon, the octagonal Royal Oak. But it’s all the better to showcase a remarkable bit of micro-engineering, which doubles-up the escapement’s oscillating balance wheel. Each suspended on oppositely oriented balance springs, the mechanism’s sensitivities to shock, gravity and temperature are lowered significantly. 65375 | £56,000

Parisian shoemaker Berluti may date back to 1895, but it’s the current, fourthgeneration custodian Olga Berluti who pioneered the brand’s distinctive look – Venezia leather, tanned laboriously by hand to bestow a unique patina to every shoe. It’s a skill with materials that resonated particularly with Hublot, giving us this 250-piece special edition. What’s especially clever is the Berluti-leather dial – you can’t have organic material in a sealed case, so a “neutralisation” method was developed specially to prevent rot. 65376 | £22,100

Beauty isn’t just in the eye of the beholder – they say it’s also down to symmetry. And just as a symmetrical face earns modelling gigs, the perfectly mirrored bridges of this new Arnold & Son make it the model to have right now. What’s more, in a nice nod to the celestial origins of timekeeping, the Nebula is so-named for its resemblance to an exploding star. At 10 and 2 o’clock, two winding barrels are suspended, offering a healthy total of 90 hours’ power, while at 5 and 7 there are the ticking balance wheel and small seconds. 65377 | £10,800

BR03-94 DESERT TYPE Think no-nonsense military watches need to conform to the usual round-cased, three-handed black dial plus white 3-6-912 hour indices and little else? Well, trust Bell & Ross to prove otherwise, as masters of the über-functional combined with über-cool – “instrument” professionalspec watches equally at home on the wrist of an architect as an infantryman in Iraq. As this year’s ceramic-cased, sand-coloured Desert Type proves. 65379 | £4,000

TONDA ANNIVERSAIRE

CAPELAND SHELBY

REGATTA OTUSA

Chronographs, despite their ubiquity, are actually one of the hardest “complications” to make, especially when the mechanics are integrated with the normal timekeeping components rather than piggybacking a separate module. If that wasn’t enough, Parmigiani has also decided to make life even more difficult by crafting the intricately engineered movement in a soft and sticky metal – rose gold. A surprise hit of this year’s SIHH trade fair and a fitting tribute to the brand’s 20th birthday. 65378 | £103,000

What could have been a one-hit wonder in 2015 has now proved to be a winning formula for Baume & Mercier and the late, great Carroll Shelby’s V8-powered racing legacy. The handsome, vintage-styled Capeland chronograph already looked like a direct descendant of an old AC Cobra dashboard, and that’s before the iconic snake logo was added to the seconds hand, with a dash of striking team yellow mixed into dial accents and the perforated leather strap. 64886 | £3,200

When Bremont announced its involvement as timekeeper for the America’s Cup yachting series as well as sponsor for the defenders, Team Oracle USA, it was only a matter of time before the British brand needed to include a regatta countdowner function in their yachting collection, as timing the 5-minute “jostle” for the starting line is critical to every race’s outcome. The outcome of Bremont’s collaboration with La Joux-Perret is nothing short of sporty but elegant. It’s even been translated to a polished-steel dress watch. 65310 | £4,995

OLD TIMERS When it comes to horology and invention Arnold & Son is a true master. With roots dating back nearly 250 years, it’s the original watchmaker that developed the perfect marine chronometer. Today, the brand pays homage to its watchmaking prowess with modern day timepieces steeped in centuries of craftsmanship.

J

ohn Arnold first gained fame in 1764 by presenting an exceptionally small ring containing a half-quarter repeater watch to King George III. From 1770 onwards, John Arnold dedicated himself to solve one of the greatest challenges of his age: calculating longitude reliably at sea. That challenge was precision, and Arnold made it his passion. Between 1770 and 1790, he painstakingly refined the art of watchmaking, introducing decisive improvements and trailblazing inventions. John Arnold, together with his friend A.-L. Breguet, largely invented the modern mechanical watch. Thus, Arnold & Son rapidly became the leading supplier of chronometers to the Royal Navy. His son, John Roger, joined the firm in 1796. Inspired by John Arnold’s relentless quest for precision and innovative technology, the modern-day Arnold & Son company keeps this fine English watchmaking tradition alive at

its headquarters in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the cradle of modern Swiss watchmaking. The actual collection of Arnold & Son pays tribute to the two distinct sections of John Arnold’s professional life. The Royal Collection is a reference to the masterpieces with which Arnold initially made his name. The chronometers of breathtaking precision that were made for the ships of the Royal Navy and many explorers are reflected today in the Instrument Collection. But clearly defined as they are, several elements are common to both: a passion for sophistication and perfections in every produced timepiece. Arnold & Son holds a firm place in the grand English watchmaking tradition. It belongs to a select group of watchmaking companies in Switzerland entitled to call themselves a manufacture, a French term reserved exclusively for watch manufacturers who develop and produce their own

movements in-house. The brand's prowess in the development and production of in-house movements is reflected by an impressive collection of Arnold & Son calibres with a complete range of sophisticated complications. Arnold & Son develops a new movement for every single model. New superbly engineered and aesthetically perfect timepieces have been unveiled as part of the brand’s Instrument Collection that combines instrument precision with classical styling. Stunning new additions have also been regularly made to the Royal Collection, which is inspired by the timepieces created in the early part of John Arnold’s life for the King George III and the royal court.

TIME PYRAMID

D

eftly demonstrating its British heritage, the Time Pyramid is inspired by the regulators created by John and John Roger Arnold over two hundred years ago, and by antique British skeleton clocks. The Time Pyramid hosts a totally new manufacture movement with unique architecture. The skeletonised calibre A&S1615 is built in a pyramidal shape, with balance wheel at 12 o’clock and, at 6 o’clock, two mainspring barrels that supply the hand-wound calibre with an amazing 90 hours of power reserve. The Time Pyramid follows the original regulators from the brand with its component positioning and detailed three-dimensional visual appeal. Movement parts and watch indications are built on three levels, with the subsidiary seconds dial on the bottom, the hours and minutes indication on a sapphire crystal dial in the middle level, and two power reserve hands via graduated dots printed under the top sapphire crystal. While the movement is extremely thin – at just 4.4 mm – the multiple levels bring amazing depth and detail to the watch. As with every esteemed Arnold & Son watch, each component in the Time Pyramid is magnificently hand decorated with manually chamfered brides and mirrorpolished edges, all yielding a striking masterpiece of decorative craftsmanship and brilliant execution.

DSTB

D

emonstrating its quality Swiss craftsmanship, the DSTB is a testament to its heritage, vision and Haute Horlogerie ingenuity. The true beat seconds is a traditional complication of Arnold & Son, and this watch pays tribute to the watches produced by John Arnold during the second half of his career. The newly developed automatic movement showcases the true beat seconds' mechanism entirely on the dial side. Not just the hands, but also the lever, wheels and three palladium treated true beat seconds bridges are located in all their beauty on the dial side. The true beat seconds are superbly indicated via a large sapphire dial that occupies the top left portion of the dial. At the 4 o’clock position, a subdial indicates the hours and the minutes. The self-winding calibre A&S6003 has 229 components. In true Arnold & Son style, the palladium treated movement features Haute Horlogerie finishing with hand-chamfered and satin-finished lever and bridges, polished edges and fine circular graining and Côtes de Genève rayonnantes. The magnificent timepiece is housed inside a 43.5mm 18-carat white gold case with anti-reflective sapphire crystal and caseback for viewing the superbly finished movement and, complete with solid 22-carat red gold guilloché oscillating weight. This edition of the DSTB will be limited to 125 timepieces – underscoring the brand’s commitment to exclusivity and excellence.

GOING FOR GOLD We sit down with Red Sky Management athletes Luke Patience British Olympic Sailor & David Florence British slalom canoeist to talk RIO 2016.

avid, as a double Olympic medallist what does it feel like to be on the run up to RIO 2016? DF - It's very exciting. Competing at the Olympic Games is an incredible experience and winning medals is the aim. I was selected in November and that's the earliest that the canoe slalom team has been decided for an Olympic Games. It means I can get excited about racing in Rio and it motivates me massively to get the most out of my training every day.

Luke, you competed in the 470 class back in 2012 winning a silver medal with Stuart Bithell’s team. How confident are you for Rio 2016? LP - The answer everyone wants here is 'confident', which is true! However, it's an immensely detailed process that you have to pull together on the right moment with the right people around you exactly as you planned for it to happen. I'm confident I will have done everything I possibly could in the time given. And I am confident in my abilities to be the best.

– 84 –

Could America's Cup be on the cards for you also? LP - It could be indeed. I think I am more attracted to the Volvo Ocean Race currently. The thought of racing around our planet in the toughest of environments the ocean can offer has had my butterflies going for many years now. Let's just see...

LP - Very methodically planned and busy. We have so much equipment to finally choose before the big day comes. We have been developing our boat for 4 years and the final 6 months is decision making time. With all the time spent in the Olympic waters to make the most

Produced by LOUIS XIII Cognac, one of the most luxurious spirits in the world, the original film, starring actor John Malkovich envisions Earth one hundred years from now and will not be released until 2115. Directed by Robert Rodriguez «100 Years: The Movie You Will Never See» was inspired by the century of careful craftsmanship and patience it takes to create each decanter of LOUIS XIII Cognac. Indeed, each decanter takes four generations of cellar masters over 100 years to craft. LOUIS XIII is an intricate alchemy of up to 1200 eaux-de-vie, the youngest of which is at least 40 years old. To ensure that «100 Years» remains secure until its official premiere on November 18, 2115, one century from now, the film was placed in a state-of-the-art safe, which will open

Executive Director for LOUIS XIII Cognac. “Four generations of LOUIS XIII cellar masters put a lifetime of passion into a bottle of LOUIS XIII, yet they will never taste the resulting masterpiece.” We are thrilled that this talented actor and creative filmmaker were inspired to join us on this artistic endeavor.” A French art de vivre enthusiast and thought-provoking virtuoso, John Malkovich developed an original screenplay for «100 Years». Styled by costume designer Nina Proctor, Shuya Chang was cast as his on- screen partner, and the two journey through an unknown future achieved by innovative set design and extensive CGI effects. "When I was first approached I really loved the idea... I mean, in a way I wish all the films I made wouldn't have been seen for a hundred years. I don't know how much that would change the way they are regarded...” said John Malkovich.

RISE OF THE MACHINES Luxury SUV sales are exploding and Jaguar hopes its first ever 4x4 will catapult it into the big league. Words by Chris Chilton.

W

hat do Bentley, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Maserati, Aston Martin and Rolls Royce have in common, besides a back catalogue stuffed full of desirable sports and luxury cars? Each is planning, or has recently launched, a four-wheel drive SUV. The market for road-biased off-roaders has exploded in recent years, first in the mass market, and more recently, in the luxury sector. SUVs now account for half of all sales in the luxury car arena, and that number is growing every year. It’s a trend no car manufacturer can afford to ignore,

certainly not Jaguar, whose traditional lineup of saloons and sports cars generated only 84,000 sales last year. By contrast, sister company Land Rover’s suite of fashionable SUVs pulled in over 400,000 buyers. Called the F-Pace, and priced from £34,170, Jaguar’s latest model and first offroader is technically a ‘crossover’ rather than a classic SUV. Crossovers are more car-biased than traditional off-roaders like the Range Rover. They still feature a high-set driving position, and most offer the security of four-wheel drive, but

– 92 –

there’s a definite slant towards car-like handling, and less emphasis on box-shaped practicality and ultimate off-road ability. Jaguar’s design team still had a big job on its hands adapting the surfacing and proportions of its voluptuous F-type sports car to suit a large four-seat family holdall. But the result is a machine that looks lithe and agile, cleverly disguising its generous interior space and huge luggage capacity. Crucially, it still looks like a Jaguar. Beneath its handsome skin, the F-Pace shares key chassis and running gear components

Not that the current engine lineup isn’t four-wheel drive, but just like all-wheel drive impressive. Buyers with a keen eye on costs are versions of the F-type two-seater, the F-Pace’s best served by the 2.0 180ps (178bhp) diesel’s four-wheel drive system sends power to the rear ability to deliver 57.6mpg, while those after more wheels only in normal driving to deliver a proper performance can opt for a supercharged V6 Jaguar feel to the handling. When conditions demand it though, up to 50 per cent of power can be shifted to the front axle. Jaguar knows that the majority of F-Pace buyers are as unlikely to stray from the Tarmac and test the car’s off-road mettle as they are to test the 500m depth rating of the Tudor Pelagos they might be wearing on their wrist. But those same customers like to know they have the option, so the F-Pace needed to have some SUV credibility. Jaguar might be new to SUVs but it’s been able to draw on Land Rover’s almost 70 years of experience making cars go where common sense says they shouldn’t. Key to the F-Pace’s offroad ability is Adaptive Surface Response, Jaguar’s answer to the Terrain Response system fitted to cars like the Range Rover. The difference here is that in the F-Pace a computer takes the hard work of guessing which setting will work best for the ground underfoot. That’s backed up by AllSurface Progress Control, effectively an off-road cruise control system that can be set to maintain a speed of 1-19mph both up and down hills. All you have to do is steer. There’s more clever technology inside, where you’ll find either an 8-inch touchscreen or a 10.2-inch ‘pro’ version in the centre console.

Combining the best of both worlds, the 3.0 V6 diesel is the pick of the range, reaching 60mph in 5.8sec, yet also managing 47.1mpg. Whether you choose the £34,170 entrylevel diesel or the full-loaded limited-run First Edition V6 at almost double that, you might be in for a long wait. The luxury SUV market is so buoyant and the F-Pace so well judged that Jaguar can’t produce them fast enough. The company that built its reputation on sports cars is building its business on the back of an SUV.

HUBLOT MECA-10

A watch whose mechanism is inspired by Meccano – why hasn’t anyone thought of this before? The relationship between the construction toy’s struts, bolts and panels and horology’s bridges, screws and mainplates is a no-brainer, not to mention tremendous fun. Most brands’ reverence for their own heritage would forbid them from something so frivolous, but Hublot has ploughed its furrow as a future-forward experimentalist, and its high-tech aesthetic lends the perfect playground. The result is actually one of the brand’s most coherent blend of “chassis” and “engine”, the iconic titanium Big Bang case framing a highly architectural 10-day-power-reserve movement, matte-coated in PVD. 65286 | £16,600

The Hyperstellar, as its name suggests, is all about air… and then not so much air, being designed for astronauts. It's not just about the NASA colourscheme however – its lightweight square 45mm case is protected from impacts during missions by a peripheral protective shell of micro-blasted grade-5 titanium and rubber, while the bezel’s protective insert is blue-anodised aluminium. A rubber grip function has also been integrated into the chrono’ pushers to ensure better handling, even when wearing gloves. 65382 | £14,000

PARMIGIANI PF-BUGATTI TYPE 390 Unlike so many other car-watch tie-ins, Parmigiani’s Bugatti watches really do go to similar lengths as the cars that inspire them, in terms of extreme engineering as well as outrageous design. The latest watch itself is still a concept, but the movement was unveiled in all its mind-boggling complexity during the Geneva Motor Show in March, and it’s easy to see how Chiron, the Veyron’s new successor has pushed the Parmigiani boffins even further. It manages to combine the tubular transverse arrangement of the original Veyron-esque Type 370 from 2004 with the dual-plane orientation of 2009’s Super Sport movement, adding a flying tourbillon into the mix for good measure. GUESTLIST We've celebrated Capital FM's One To Watch competition final in partnership with Raymond Weil. We hosted our inaugural ROX Haute Horlogerie Dinner. We even uncovered the Beauty Behind the Madness with Dr Esho & friends, followed by an evening of adventure with Bremont. It wouldn’t be a ROX party without the celebration of a music icon and we did just that with our Linn Lounge David Bowie evening. We hope to see you at the next one.

THE GAME. CHANGED.

Sometimes a car will come along that breaks the established rules. The boundaries of progress are challenged. The impossible becomes the possible. Sports Series by McLaren is such a car. It recalibrates the senses. It redefines performance. It changes the game.
