Roxana

A​ ​little​ ​bit​ ​of​ ​background.

My​ ​full​ ​name​ ​is​ ​Karla​ ​Roxana​ ​De​ ​la​ ​Rosa​ ​Coronado,​ ​all​ ​my​ ​friends​ ​call​ ​me​ ​Rox​ ​and​ ​my​ ​best​ ​friends Awesome​ ​Rox,​ ​just​ ​kidding.​ ​I​ ​am​ ​19​ ​years​ ​old,​ ​originally​ ​from​ ​Mexico​ ​DF,​ ​you​ ​could​ ​say​ ​that​ ​now I​ ​have​ ​no​ ​origins​ ​since​ ​DF​ ​disappeared​ ​and​ ​now​ ​is​ ​CDMX,​ ​I​ ​guess​ ​that's​ ​an​ ​identity​ ​crisis​ ​I have,​ ​so​ ​moving​ ​on.

I​ ​have​ ​a​ ​really​ ​small​ ​family​ ​compared​ ​to​ ​the​ ​normal​ ​mexican​ ​family.​ ​I​ ​have​ ​my​ ​mom(not​ ​going​ ​to tell​ ​her​ ​age)​ ​and​ ​dad​ ​(49),​ ​or​ ​like​ ​I​ ​like​ ​to​ ​call​ ​them​ ​my​ ​biggest​ ​fans,​ ​my​ ​big​ ​/​ ​little​ ​brother (PHYSICALLY​ ​older,​ ​22)​ ​,​ ​my​ ​one​ ​and​ ​only​ ​“pocket”​ ​grandma​ ​version​ ​(67)​ ​,​ ​three​ ​aunts,​ ​two uncles,​ ​six​ ​cousins​ ​and​ ​6​ ​nephews​ ​(not​ ​from​ ​my​ ​brother,​ ​thank​ ​god).​ ​ ​I​ ​have​ ​many​ ​friends,​ ​but​ ​I have​ ​3​ ​that​ ​stand​ ​out​ ​from​ ​the​ ​crowd​ ​my​ ​best​ ​friend​ ​Ricardito,​ ​and​ ​my​ ​two​ ​oldest​ ​friends​ ​Paulo, that​ ​I​ ​have​ ​known​ ​for​ ​8​ ​years​ ​and​ ​my​ ​truly​ ​oldest​ ​friend​ ​Hannah,​ ​I​ ​have​ ​known​ ​her​ ​since​ ​we​ ​wear diapers.

Like​ ​many​ ​of​ ​my​ ​Chilango’s​ ​kind,​ ​I​ ​moved​ ​to​ ​Querétaro​ ​and​ ​I​ ​have​ ​been​ ​living​ ​here​ ​for​ ​12​ ​years now.​ ​Right​ ​now​ ​I​ ​am​ ​studying​ ​a​ ​Bachelors​ ​degree​ ​in​ ​Animation​ ​and​ ​Digital​ ​Arts.​ ​Fun​ ​fact​ ​when​ ​I was​ ​deciding​ ​what​ ​to​ ​study​ ​I​ ​applied​ ​for​ ​Chemistry,​ ​Sea​ ​Biologist​ ​and​ ​Veterinarian;​ ​I​ ​was supposed​ ​to​ ​chose​ ​from​ ​the​ ​college​ ​that​ ​I​ ​was​ ​accepted​ ​and​ ​was​ ​offered​ ​a​ ​scholarship,​ ​they​ ​all offered​ ​me​ ​both.​ ​So​ ​I​ ​guess​ ​I​ ​should​ ​explain​ ​how​ ​I​ ​ended​ ​up​ ​studying​ ​a​ ​completely​ ​different thing.

The​ ​world​ ​has​ ​always​ ​been​ ​a​ ​fascinating​ ​thing​ ​for​ ​me,​ ​but​ ​never​ ​in​ ​an​ ​specific​ ​thing.​ ​I​ ​have always​ ​loved​ ​learning​ ​and​ ​I​ ​am​ ​very​ ​curious,​ ​when​ ​I​ ​discover​ ​something​ ​new​ ​and​ ​it​ ​catches​ ​my attention​ ​I​ ​dig​ ​in​ ​for​ ​information,​ ​facts​ ​and​ ​ask​ ​around​ ​until​ ​I​ ​become​ ​a​ ​basic​ ​expert​ ​on​ ​the subject.​ ​So​ ​all​ ​professions​ ​for​ ​me​ ​are​ ​amazing​ ​and​ ​interesting.​ ​Sea​ ​Biologist,​ ​was​ ​because​ ​I love​ ​all​ ​marine​ ​creatures,I​ ​have​ ​lots​ ​of​ ​fun​ ​facts​ ​of​ ​sea​ ​creatures​ ​and​ ​I​ ​love​ ​their​ ​nature, It's​ ​just​ ​that​ ​it​ ​is​ ​more​ ​a​ ​guilty​ ​pleasure​ ​than​ ​a​ ​thing​ ​for​ ​life.​ ​Veterinarian,​ ​was​ ​kind​ ​of​ ​the same​ ​as​ ​Sea​ ​Biologist,​ ​plus​ ​the​ ​fact​ ​that​ ​I​ ​get​ ​attach​ ​to​ ​animals​ ​really​ ​easy​ ​and​ ​I​ ​am​ ​super sensible​ ​so​ ​Life​ ​and​ ​Death​ ​matters​ ​is​ ​not​ ​really​ ​a​ ​thing​ ​for​ ​me.​ ​The​ ​one​ ​thing​ ​that​ ​has​ ​always

been​ ​a​ ​fascination​ ​for​ ​me​ ​and​ ​really​ ​makes​ ​me​ ​smile​ ​and​ ​feel​ ​good​ ​has​ ​been​ ​entertainment​ ​such​ ​as theatre​ ​and​ ​cinema.​ ​ ​I​ ​love​ ​being​ ​in​ ​backstage​ ​and​ ​being​ ​a​ ​part​ ​of​ ​a​ ​hole,​ ​creating​ ​monsters​ ​, props​ ​and​ ​interacting​ ​with​ ​the​ ​people​ ​that​ ​create​ ​magic.​ ​I​ ​remember​ ​that​ ​I​ ​realized​ ​this​ ​when​ ​I was​ ​watching​ ​wicked​ ​and​ ​just​ ​smiling​ ​like​ ​I​ ​was​ ​in​ ​love,​ ​because​ ​I​ ​knew​ ​all​ ​the​ ​work​ ​that producing​ ​something​ ​like​ ​that​ ​requires​ ​and​ ​seeing​ ​the​ ​people's​ ​reactions.​ ​I​ ​guess​ ​I​ ​felt​ ​it​ ​in my​ ​heart.

So​ ​this​ ​was​ ​ ​a​ ​piece​ ​of​ ​me,​ ​I​ ​hope​ ​it​ ​was​ ​a​ ​little​ ​interesting​ ​or​ ​not.
