The sleeves on outfit 3 and shoulder sections are pin tucked Before the pattern pieces can be cut out, measure the length of the sleeve block and shoulder, double the length and add half of the length On the machine mark down how wide apart the pin tucks will be.

1 cm for the tuck and 2cm apart Follow the markings and pin tuck the fabric

Week 4: Outfit 2

The skirt section for outfit 2 has pin tucked elements One section on the front of the skirt One section on the back of the skirt Before pin tucking mark how wide the pin tucks will be and repeat on the fabric The fabric needs to be bigger than the pattern as the fabric will shrink as each pin tuck is made up Another section of the skirt is pleated and same with one other section on the back Before pleated, the fabric will need to be pinned where the pleats will be inserted for a more professional clean finish
