NEW DOCK Hall has a contemporary, minimalist feel; situated on the ground floor, fully accessible with a 5.8m ceiling height. The hall has many suspension points, ample power, data, Wi-Fi options, dimmable lighting and is unrestricted by pillars giving limitless scope for your creative ideas.

The main hall has full black-out facility and a floor to ceiling programmable star cloth around the entire hall to add to your theming. Large delivery doors and polished concrete floor mean you can drive vehicles and access equipment into the space for display or working at height.

Royal Armouries Hall The Royal Armouries Hall is divisible, flexible and adaptable with a range of seating arrangements and layouts. The Hall is on the ground level and has good access for exhibitors and contractors. Large loading access and a reinforced floor allows for vehicle displays.

Staging can be situated in a variety of positions and the numerous suspension points allow for flown data projection, lighting and sound. Royal Armouries C can be used in conjunction with A & B as one hall or divided into three sound proof rooms.

Bury Theatre A purpose built, self-contained, air-conditioned lecture theatre over two levels with comfortable, cinema style seating. Its gently sloping floor provides excellent sight lines to the fixed stage with additional seating on the balcony.

The theatre has in-house data projection, surround sound and stage lighting systems which are controlled from the projection room situated at the back of the upper level. Access to the stage can be gained from outside of the theatre.

Wellington Suite The Wellington suite is situated on the first floor and accessible by a staircase and lifts. The event space can be used as a stand-alone conference and banqueting room, as a breakout facility, an exhibition room or to accommodate refreshments, lunch or dinner in combination with the Bury Theatre.

The space can be set theatre or cabaret style and has plenty of under floor power to accommodate audio visual and exhibitor needs. Curtains to the windows and doors provide a black out facility and an additional curtain in the centre can divide the room in half.

Tower Gallery The Gallery has a wooden floor, is modern bright and airy, and benefits from ample natural daylight although a curtain to the north facing window offers the ability for black out and the room can be equipped with a data projector and screen.

Situated on the third floor, the Tower Gallery is accessed by Lift and stairs via the Tournament Gallery. This is an ideal conference and seminar room and can accommodate between 30 and 60 people.

Museum Galleries The Museum Galleries are available to hire, for a variety of private events, outside of Museum opening hours. Sound systems can only be used for background music and speeches. No loud bass music, liable to cause vibration, will be permitted. All cabling & equipment must be kept away from exhibits, not beyond the existing barriers, with wiring taped down using NEC approved tape or rubber cable matting. Plans can be provided to show approved lay outs of AV equipment. No additional lighting will be permitted in the museum galleries; this includes spots, colour washes and any other form of lighting. No raised platforms, plinths, staging or other will be permitted in the galleries other than lecterns provided for speeches. Basic projection, screen & source will be permitted with prior agreement and only in specified areas. No other equipment, including plasma screens and computer equipment will be permitted in the museum galleries. All movement of AV equipment will be done under the supervision of RAI manager/supervisor and a gallery warden. Photography/Videography is permitted only on completion and approval of a Royal Armouries Museum Photography/film permit and the relevant fees being paid.

Museum Galleries The War, Tournament, Oriental and Hunting Galleries provide the ideal setting for a pre-dinner drinks reception, evening buffet or formal dinner with a difference. Only at the Royal Armouries can your guests experience a genuinely world famous collection in stunning surroundings.

Home to the national collection of arms and armour, the museum galleries contain the nations treasure. Naturally, great consideration must be given to the protection of the artefacts and any equipment brought into the galleries needs to be unintrusive.

Cinema of War Situated on the second floor, the Cinema of War is accessed by lift or stairs and sits just inside the entrance to the War Gallery among the National Collection of Arms and Armour.

Comfortable fixed seating theatre style, a large fixed screen and black out facilities make this an ideal venue for presentations and conferences or as breakout facilities for larger events.
